At first, I saw this book as quite basic. Then, I realized what it was... an introduction to small business entrepreneurship. As someone who's read extensively in the field, I'd forgotten how books such as "The One-Minute Manager" and "The Richest Man in Babylon" enlightened me in my younger years. This should have been one of those books.

While most Business 101 books focus on corporate structures with managerial hierarchies, Mitra's book focuses on small businesses. He turns macro into micro while teaching keys to success. His five "C's" state these clearly, but I felt his book came down to a few main points—have integrity in all you do. Be honest, work hard, be grateful, treat everyone with utmost respect, and give back.

I strive to be the kind of person Mitra describes in this book and hope the next generation of business owners and leaders take on the same challenge.

This book opened my eyes to a lot of things. I was already being a leader the way you're supposed to be, and I never recognized my hard work until I read this book.
