Want to kill my sister? You’ll have to go through me first.

I will stop you. Even if it means I have to go back to the palace. Even if it means I have to take back the crown I left behind. Even if it means I have to face the four men I left at the altar. I will take on them and their anger. I will take on anything to save Avia.

Because the kingdom needs her.

Alright short list:

We need a map.
A hierarchy tree.
A fucking dictionary.

Oh, I’m sorry I meant a SARDING dictionary.

Not that I’m slow, I’m not. But so many names are thrown out and I like a little organization.
Something the author clearly didn’t think we needed in the book.

I bet she had a fucking map.

Also, I love the word FUCK so who the FUCK replaces it with SARD....?????

S-a-r-d. Sard.

Do you not see that sarding looks a lot like SARDINES??

Exhale...*

Ehhhh. I didn’t like it.

Knightfall was one of those books that gave me so many opportunities to dnf it. I was so close so many freaking times.. but somehow, I pulled through and eventually finished. Thank god that I did.. because now I know that I wont go back into this book/series.

Whether it was the actual storyline or the characters, it didn't end up mattering to me. I hated everything about it. Every little thing was annoying or frustrating to read. I just couldn't get invested into this. Not even wine could help -

I was put off reading this for a long time. Mixed reviews and a FMC with a silly name like Bloss didn't encourage me to read it.
Boy was I wrong.
I loved this proper epic fantasy. No modern cursing or bra's thrown in to mix up the setting. It was all Dragons, horseback and taverns.

Bloss is the crown princess and on the run from her responsibilities and left her 4 chosen husband or "knights" behind. When her sister's life is threatened she returns to her 4 jilted men and a whole lot of responsib

This was a great start to the trilogy and the stage has officially been set. After running for years the heroine returns to her kingdom and the four men AKA her husbands she ran from. Of course there's a lot more going on than just her running from her responsibilities. In fact she's trying to save everyone's lives but with threats against her sister arising and her mother being ill she has little choice but to stop her quest and return home. Of course her mother, the Queen, has so many people a ...more

WOW!! 🔥🔥 I LOVED THIS BOOK!

I am just starting to read more reverse harem and I must say I am completely obssessed with this genre!!! I need all the RH fantasy books in my life! I discovered Ann Denton last year and I love everything she writes. Her omegaverse series The Feral Princess is amazing and I knew as soon as I picked up the Tangled Crowns series that I would fall in love!

Crown Princess Bloss is on the run, if she comes back to her kingdom she will have no choice but to take the throne,

This is a gem, one of those books that means a late night and slacking at work. The cover doesn’t do the story justice and the blurb is a little lacking. The story itself is amazing.
- Strong stubborn MC
- Four guys Declan, Quinn, Ryan and Connor
- RH is the norm

In an escape attempt Bloss stumbles across a murder plot for her sister and has no choice but to return home to warn them. There she has to face her four suitors she left behind and a binding spell from her mother (similar to curse of the

This was a really good start to a fantasy reverse harem series. I liked the main character, and I thought that her ability to accept that she had messed up, and actively grow from it, was refreshing and very nice to read about. I liked her guys, although I feel like we didn't get to know them amazingly well. The political intrigue was interesting, and I really enjoyed it. The magic, with different prices for each person, was intriguing, and I look forward to learning more about the magic system. ...more

KNIGHTFALL was my first experience reading a Reverse Harem (or any type of harem, really), and I really think it’s a great place to start for a newbie to the genre like me!

The story follows Bloss, a princess with a dangerous gift that may as well be a death sentence to those around her. In order to protect them, Bloss escapes the castle on the eve of her marriage with her four knights, and has been on the run for years when she discovers a threat against her younger sister. Desperate to protect

This was a binge read. Action packed and hilarious and I could not put it down! I LOVED the dynamic among Bloss and her knights and I thought the magic system in this book was really unique. I think my favorite knight is Quinn. He’s just so funny and I love the banter between him and Bloss!

Full disclosure: this was my first foray into RH. I wasn’t sure what to expect or how I’d buy into it, but Denton did a good job of making it a believable, if not necessary, part of society.

Thanks to the auth

I had no idea what I was getting into with Knightfall. Honestly, I just saw a bunch of facebook posts commanding me to read this book, so I said, "Why not?" Four stars and four delayed hours of sleep later, I've come to the conclusion that I made an awesome decision.

Knightfall is one of those books that jumps right into action. Bloss, our leading lady, is in disguise at the beginning of the story, and the sh*t quickly hits the fan. I really liked that Denton threw Bloss (and us) right into the

Magical, captivating, enthralled, hilarious, steamy and heartbreaking are just a few ways that one can describe this novel. The storyline is enchanting and hooks you on line one, I can say this because I read line one while eating, and well I sprayed my dinner everywhere, it is that funny! The characters from the servants and common folk to the main ladies and gents are well developed and are multi-layered. So even leaving you guessing to whom they are and what their purpose is! Ann Denton wrote my favorite Silver Springs book. I really loved Ruby, the innocent and slightly naive angel on a quest to make people happy. After finishing that book I really wanted to read more written by Ann Denton, but for some reason loads of other books begged for my attention first. However, for my Alphabet reading challenge I really needed a book with a K and it was the perfect excuse to finally start this series!

Even though the book is bigger than average I really flew through it and t

An okay read

Knightfall is set in a mystical land with elves. dragons, halflings, humans, djinn, and magic. What's not to like, right? Pros: the book was interesting with a unique enough plot twist: in the beginning, the FMC is hated by her quad of husbands/suitors instead of falling in love with each one. Bloss is intelligent and vulnerable. I also like the twist on the mom/ Queen. You love to hate that woman and the unique geass was a added bonus. The guys were likeable. Ryan and Quinn were my

This was really good, on the whole. There was a little something that made it more like 3.75 stars, but I'm.finding it hard to work out what. Maybe a slight cheesiness? But it was a good, solid RH fantasy read.

Bloss is a good character, and while her insecurities with the men get a little tiresome at times, it's understandable, and she is pretty kick ass, with a sharp political mind, too.

I also mostly liked the men. They were pretty assholeish at first (apart from Quinn) but then they had reason

I’ve been ruined. This is my first try with Reverse Harem, and I wasn’t ready for the emotional and physical toll loving four guys at once would have on me. I should have expected this. Finding one book boyfriend is what it is, but four at the same time? Overwhelming in the best way possible!

I loved this book for its plot and its interesting worldbuilding. Let’s start with the magic, which I found truly fascinating. There’s a sort of checks and balances for its use. For example, one of the chara

Ann Denton's books won me over after I was introduced to them. Fantasy isn't my typical genre, but God have mercy KnightFall was everything I was expecting and more. Dark fantasy and steamy scenes have just become my new obsession. A novel that transports you to another world is very rare. The ability to see characters and places in your mind as real as if they were present. I was taken on a journey of emotions as soon as I began reading this story. This is the kind of book I might not have liked depending on my mood but for some reason all the stars aligned when I was reading it. The slang is annoying & don’t look too closely at the arms on the cover, but I had a great time and will be reading the next one for sure.

1. Look at the thiccness of this read. /salivating

2. Another exceptional heroine. I love it even more when other people are undermining her, esp since she can single-handedly prove them wrong against all their misconceptions about her (and yes I am talking about her heroes). Then she goes and humbles herself when she accepts her flaws AND pushes herself to right her own wrong doings. I mean, one can become badass and be smart at the same time. Last but def not the least, I have had the most fun

For someone who does NOT enjoy abuse or bullying of any kind in romance, I struggled with this book.

The heroine was in a tough spot and was constantly acting like a martyr. The heroes initially humiliate and physically treat her harshly because she ran away right before their wedding. I felt so icky reading their developing romance when these men had treating her like that, like she was the scum of the earth. And they never ever apologize for their behavior or feel guilty. There’s a lot of bully

I devoured this book in a day. I could not put it down and couldn’t stop thinking about it. The hate to love. The magic system. The mysteries of the crown and the people. The mysteries of the men. I was yearning for the first kisses. The make you sex. The everything. I couldn’t pick a fav guy. I loved each one as we got to know them. And I still love each one. Bloss is a badass FMC. Princess Bloss is the heir of the kingdom of Evaness, but is currently working as a waitress having used a spell to disguise who she truly is. Bloss ran away from Evaness 4 years ago and two days before her coronation as Queen of Evaness. Not only did Bloss run away from her kingdom and her destiny but she also left behind her four soon to be husbands/knights who were chosen by her mother each for their unique qualities. I enjoyed this book so much! In so many positive ways, it reminded me of my favorite RH, the Heart Hassle series by Raven Kennedy, and that is one of the reasons I loved this so much! If you are expecting hot and heavy from the get go, you would be mistaken. This book is deliciously slow burning.

Bloss is the crowned princess of her country, but for four years she has been on the run. In the moment, it had been her only option, but when one of her husband's drags her back to the castle after she

It’s a very rare thing for a book to transport you to another word. To paint pictures in your mind of characters and places so real, you can see them. This story captivated me from the very start, taking me on a journey of emotions. It did not let me go until it’s brilliant end. I shamelessly fell in love with each member of the harem and loved how even though they were preordained mates, their relationships were not formed instantly. First and foremost I have to say I’m sorry you aren’t going to understand it till you read the book but I have to do it!

“SARDING”

Now that I got that out of the way! I’m not really all that big on the reverse harem thing but putting that aside it was a pretty good book! I liked that the author didn’t use the typical thing you expect to see in characters and world building! There's a lot in here that I haven't seen in any other books so that always stands out for me! My latest reading obsession is reverse harem stories. I like the storyline and the characters. A mixture of fantasy and romance just on a "hotter" level. This is my first introduction to author, Ann Denton. However, it will not be my last and in fact, I am happy to see the other books are out so that I can continue this series.

Bloss is not a damsel in distress. No, she would rather be up front leading the fight than in the back wearing a dress. Luckily, she has four men who are by her side...De
