Really enjoyed this book. Read it in one sitting. Not a sterotypical sleuth. Marie is a joy. I had a few laugh out loud moments which always impresses me in reading a book. It will be interesting to read the second book in the series. The only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars was because I thought that Marie should have been a lot more scared given the fact that two people close to her had been murdered and the idea of going by yourself to a deserted warehouse the scene of one murder in the ...more

This was a very enjoyable read. I couldn't put the book down till I got to the last page. Although it's not so highly detective type but it's not so boring either. It has a typical dark humour and chick literature writing style which I liked very much . Amazing debut book. Waiting to read the next sequel.
