I loved the illustrations, but sometimes I felt they didn't match the sentence they were a companion to well.

"I promise you our love is Real" - ngl the whole Velveteen rabbit thing comes off as a little creepy to me sometimes LOL

A sweet message from a friend who sticks with baby on good days and bad. It’s not entirely clear whether the poem is meant to be read from the perspective of a favorite toy, a same-age friend, or a parent - but there’s some sweetness to the ambiguity. Short and sweet.

This little picture book it's a beautiful celebration of love and friendship, presented in a sort of list format. Each page is beautifully illustrated and has different examples, explained in 2-4 line verses, of how friends can bring joy to one another.
