Max & Ruby have always been a favorite with my family from my childhood to that of my own children. This book slides right in with the rest of the beloved series.

Max & Ruby's mother has quite the big stomach. Max is convinced she ate too many cookies, but Ruby knows better. As she explains the situation to Max, he refuses to believe a word.
