About the author

B.K. Bass is the author of over a dozen works of science fiction, fantasy, and horror inspired by the pulp fiction magazines of the early 20th century and classic speculative fiction. He is also a freelance editor with experience both as a publisher and editor-in-chief of a literary journal. When B.K. isn’t dreaming up new worlds to explore, he spends his time as a lifelong student of history, bookworm, and film buff.

Another great entry into The Ravencrest Chronicles!
Poems (or I like to think of Sea Shanties) to short and longer stories fill this anthology, and all add a bit more lore and depth to this port city of pirates, thieves, and vampires. These tales will keep you intrigued and leave you wanting more of Seahaven!

Excellently crafted series of short stories from the pen of B.K.Bass. I found these tales to be a wonderful introduction to the city of Seahaven. The narrative and characters are crafted with love and detail. The setting is both immersive and page turning.
The city breathes.
B.K. delivers his words like an expert sculptor, drawing you deeper into the dark alleyways and worn buildings of this harbor city.
If you are a fan of the classic fantasy pulp authors such as Leiber, Howard, Burroughs, and Andrew J. Offutt you are in for a treat. His writings are a rare jewel to be savored and reread over and over again. I see B.K. Bass taking his rightful place alongside the fantasy giants of yesteryear given time.
