A very useful resource for learning basic conversational phrases in Hungarian. It's one of the more thorough ones that I have found. And, it's organised just like other LP books, which makes the format simple and designed for quick access.
There is a short section on grammar, which you may or may not need; but, it's nice to have for reference.

Started learning Hungarian as a hobby during the summer of 2007, which led to my Hungarian workmate inviting me to join him when he returned to Budapest for a fortnight that same year.

I referred to this phrasebook intermittently before and during my stint in Hungary. The book's design and phonetic guide are superb.

I didn't really feel compelled to continue learning this language following my trip to Budapest, mainly because I was simultaneously learning Polish, but I still own the Hungarian phr

Helpful. Some descriptions of pronunciations are off, but a good and well-organized intro.
