After I finished Bad Girl, I had only one remaining question: Can this author's work get any better? I'm in awe of KRS' words, of this book, in awe of Anna.
I've always loved this character since I met her in The Initiation, but now? Her independance, strength, determination and maturity make of her one of the most fascinating heroine I have ever read.
Her playfulness. Her freedom. Her ambition. Her intelligence. Each one of her traits was so endearing I connected with her from the start and found myself utterly immersed in her world, in Vegas sparkling casinos, in the old chateau in France and in the debris and renovations in Texas.
BAD GIRL is the proof (if you even needed one) that you can't impose yourself limits as to what YOU THINK you want and don't want to read; you just have to trust Kailee Reese Samuels to let the words flow and lead you through her characters' feelings. The justess of the tone and emotions is fabulous. It's at turns (and sometimes all at once), beautiful and magic, raw and painful, sweet and gentle. I cried, hurt with Anna, laughed and smiled, felt her guilt, and passion.
"There are times when a woman keeps secrets to preserve the future."
Anna's story is about love, painful, tragic, epic, impossible. But most of all about finding the freedom she has always needed. She made errors, experiences, met a lot of people but never lost her fire and who she was. It's what I loved the most about her story. Even in her submission, she still found a way to show who she was. This emotional rollercoaster will break and heal you. And again. Its exquisite sensuality, its artistic erotism will leave you craving for more, its intensity will draw you in, but as always with this author, can you guess where you're going to end up at? The depth of all the characters combined with the depth of the storyline is brilliantly handled. To watch Anna play in this Man's World, and make herself a place into it, is a treat like no other. Find out how Juliet came to life, how early on everything started, and you will come back for more; with an ending like this one, you will have no other choice!!!

Spanning decades, we are brought a tale of intrigue, machinations, deviancy and strong will, that weaves a magic all its own. Anna's tale, in which she grabs life by the neck and shakes out all possible opportunities, is fascinating. Her world of showgirls and Suits, brings to her, her great loves. She, usually, deftly and dangerously, juggles everything that comes her way, but can also take solace, advice, love and the gift of friendship, when it is offered, whether it be from intruders, the up and coming man or headmistresses. Such a wonderfully, richly realised and expanding world, brought to us by a master storyteller.

At fifteen Anna fled her father, home and a prearranged marriage. She found herself in Vegas awash in feathers, diamanté’s and living the life of a showgirl. The other girls envy her popularity amongst the suit and fedora wearing heads of the underworld. Finally she is in control of her life and making decisions for herself. However the truth is she is a kept woman, living in a unit provided by a Mafia boss. Making herself available to be used like a high class hooker. Anna gets too greedy, playing games with both sides. As a result she finds herself hiding on the other side of the World.
Jake is her saviour, he is dominant and loves her more than anything. He wants Anna’s submission, he trains her but it doesn’t come without challenge. Jake pushes her into the arms of another which is soul destroying for them both. He sees for himself that she loves Luca, his jealousy turns to anger. This was such a fantastic read, set in the Juliet world. Anna Ford is the MC and she takes us on the journey of her life and loves from 1955 up to 2015. She tells the story of the origins of the Juliet school and those who preceded it and also brought it into being.
Anna, Jake, Luca, Sal and all the other characters make this book shine. I started it and couldn’t put it down; I was disappointed when it ended. I found myself nodding my head in agreement at Anna’s insights and revelations and I cried at the eventual passing of those I got to know in the course of the story. Good lord but this book pulls at the heart strings! Another excellent piece of writing by Kailee, but I’m honestly not surprised. I’ve actually come to expect this level of story telling from this author.

Bad Girl is a beautifully written love story of Anna Ford and her experiences in life that lead her to create Juliet. She is a strong woman, a little rebellious and somewhat of a firecracker.
Anna was in love with a Luca, a forbidden love, but loved Jake. A love triangle.
Bad Girl will pull on your heartstrings with unexpected twists and turns.
I enjoyed reading about the older characters and their connection to Anna.

As a huge fan of Kailee, I had been patiently waiting for her to give us Anna's story and she delivered...amazingly!
"Find your happy ending every single day." Anna says this at the beginning of the book and I think after reading, you will agree she did try to do just that.
In Bad Girl, Anna is exposing her life to Sal, and she tells it all, the good, the bad, and the sexy. She started out her life as a showgirl in Vegas. She knew in order to move up in the world, she would have to make strategic partnerships. Some of those partnerships were dangerous but so beneficial. Some of her acquaintances turned friend or lover, and some of them turned dangerous, so very much so. But if anything, Anna is brave, she is a fighter.
With each character we meet that was a part of her past, you grow to fall in love with them. Precious Luca who had loved her so much, Wil who had seen the potential that Jake and Dr. Kerris had brought to her doorstep. And of course, Jake and Kerris each have their own merit, and while the going was sometimes tough with Jake, she stayed with him til the end. Each of them had so much to offer her, she was in a constant state of personal evolution.
Even in the hard parts of her life, the ones that broke you down as a reader, Anna was able to find hope. It's because of her enduring strength and need to prove herself that help her endure the pain. "I cried for the story I didn't think I could change, but that was where I was wrong. Changing the story is hard." But Anna is an ultimate Bad Girl and if anyone can come out on top, it's her.
Anna's self-reflection is so insightful, she has helped to put a lot of pieces into place for us fans of the Juliet world that Kailee has created. When faced with a challenge, she looked at it from multiple angles, if something didn't work, she changed it. She had a great crew to help her along the way, and she never failed to let them know she was grateful. This is such a beautiful read, and by the ending, you will find yourself made whole.

HOLY WOW!!!! This is a book you do not want to miss. This is the story of Anna Ford and she takes us on quiet the journey from 1955 to 2015. She too has a story to tell that will have you unable to put down. I love how it is written and we are getting the story first hand from Anna herself. I loved we get information on basically all the characers in this book and there are so many of them that I really really liked. Anna too is such an amazing character all on her own. I loved how she evolved in this story and adapted when needed. She is a fiercely independent, brave, strong and not afraid to say what she thinks. But she also learns and that is always a good thing. I hate when characters keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Bad Girl is dark and emotional and has some of the best twists you will ever find in a book. It had me breathless at times and one the edge of my seat while the entire things is so well written it will play out like a movie in your heart. I felt like I was right there with Anna through this entire book. This is a book you do not want to miss. I have only recently discovered Kailee Reese Samuels and I am so happy I did but at the same time I am kicking myself for it taking so long for me to discover her. If you only read on book this year, this is an excellent one for you to read. It's a must read and I would give it a million stars if I could.

Anna Ford’s life is a journey to Hell and back. The life lessons she learns fulfill her dream and some of her nightmares.
Kailee Reese Samuels is an outstanding Author who can submerge you into a storyline and leave you weeping for more.
This book is no exception, she takes you on a journey so incredibly intriguing that you just can’t put it down. You (I) needed to know how the story continued, especially when names brought up dragged more questions to my mind. But this Author answered those questions and more!
This book is full of incredible characters with stories that surprise and entrance. The life of Anna Ford was not an easy life, but it was a full life and an emotionally filled one.
Anna’s life was one educational adventure after another.
From leaving home at the age of 15 to go to Vegas and achieve so much as a Showgirl, falling into bed with the “Suits”. To France with Jake Ballister whose love is more than she ever thought. And Luca Raniero the Love she could never have full time.
Through it all, the emotions, the lessons, the love, it all came together at Juliet.
And now another Raniero is at the same cusps as Ann was. Sal Raniero, the one the only. But can he survive what Anna has?

It was so much fun to get all this background information about the older players in the story. It all has to start somewhere, you know. And Anna Ford is a beautiful, wicked bad girl!
"If they wanted me, they would take the new me they built because the old me wasn't coming back."
I got literally goosebumps when I read this sentence.
I love this book, which shows Anna Fords story. And I have a new admiration for her, she is so brave, headstrong and isn't afraid of saying she thought wrong, she just shrugs and change her way of thinking. She is constantly evolving.
"In thinking outside of the box, I would break the mold they had used for years. I would be seen as difficult - the odd woman out - so I needed to make damn sure I knew what I wad doing before I ever attempted to teach another with my new and improved lessons."

This author certainly knows how to captivate her readers. As soon as I started reading this I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the last final word. It really is such a great read.
After meeting Anna in Juliet I was so excited that we were going to get her story and what a story it is. A story spanning many years this is a story not to be rushed (although I wanted to speed through it), a story to be felt.
Another awesome read from this fantastic author. I cannot put into words how good this story is so go read it for yourself.. you won’t regret it :)

Wow this is a fantastic read that will have you hooked and not able to put your reading devices down. This book was very emotional and dark and full of friendship that has amazing twists to this story. I loved this story as i had a heart pounding read throughout this book. I had a very major book hangover at the end as I couldn’t get in to another book for the night and i was able to see the emotions and scenery throughout the read.

Talk about a story that rips open your emotions and leaves you wanting more. I found myself sucked in the midst of a triangle of love, hurt and angst between Lucas, Jake and Anna. One minute you are taking in the passion of these characters and the next crying due to an unexpected turn of events. Then again when you read these stories you should always expect the unexpected. Another amazing and brilliant story that continues the Sal journey. Cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.

I've wanted to know more about Anna since first reading about her in Juliet, and the Author didn't disappoint. She wove and told the tale of Anna from a teen to later years as Anna tells Sal how it all started, from escaping an arranged marriage, going to Las Vegas, and loving two men, to Juliet. My heart broke at time for these characters, then I was amazed with Anna's strength and determination. You will love Jake and Luca, one was the man she needed him to be, the other I don't think quite knew how to be a proper Dom. But she loved them both and they her, how did it play out? You need to read Bad Girl and find out, and yes Anna earned that title and then some. Once again I fell in love with some characters and despised others and can't wait for the stories of them. This Author has a way of making you see and feel everything, like it's you taking the journey in the world of Juliet. I'm glad this story was told, now I feel more for Anna, it was not an easy life, but she lead it on her terms. I highly recommend Bad Girl and if you haven't read Ms. Samuels' earlier books, you will definitely want to read them, to visit Sugargrove and Juliet.

I was beyond ecstatic when Ms. Samuels announced that she was writing Anna’s story. She once again amazed me with her words. The flow of the book is phenomenal. I felt like I was part of the story and that it was written specifically for me. Everything and everyone connects in some little secretive way. We are giving so much history and get to witness the birth of Juliet. Of course this wouldn’t be a Kailee Samuels book unless there were a few tears shed and a couple of mind blowing twist. Anna is brave, bold, and beautiful. Be prepared to bow down to the true queen of Juliet.

This book is broody and powerful! You NEED to READ! This BDSM erotic romance is about a woman named Anna Rebecca Ford, a Las Vegas showgirl and the men in her life. This story is told from Anna’s POV to Salvatore Raniero and her involvement with a young mobster and an intruder—one she needed to protect her and one she loved. Anna ran away from home at eighteen and went to Vegas where she became a showgirl. As the cliché goes—what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Well, we all know there is usually more to the story. Vegas took Anna on one hell of a roller coaster ride! What can I say yet again Kailee has knocked the wind out of me with another amazing book!!!!
This story follows Anna Ford who we have come to know and love from her first appearance in Juliet to now following her back story as she tells it to none other than our very own Sal. Her life as a Vegas showgirl as a teenager all the way through working with mob bosses and then falling in love with not only one Dom but two Dom's Luca and Jake, to eventually coming back to sugar grove and giving us what we now know as her school Juliet!!
Boy do not get me started on Luca I think I am in love with him no there is no thinking about it I know I love this character so much!!!! (but not as much as I love Sal) we get to see a few well known characters again in this book chance being one as we see him as a child in this story, I didn't even see it coming when Anna told Sal who chance's father was in the end.
Again another brilliant book by my unicorn author, I cannot wait to see and read what's coming next 2019 is gonna be an amazing year and I'm definitely on the Kailee train for sure and I'm soooo not getting off at all!!!!

I'm in awe of the author and her ability to suck you in and hold you enthralled with her characters and storylines. This author is a multi-facet gem when it comes to the written word.
Anna Ford Ballister's life story is full of a woman's courage to flee her circumstances and go on to fulfil her own life's desires. This woman is full of heart and determination as she turns those life dreams into reality.
Anna's journey is raw, full of grit and unbelievably passionate. I couldn't help but love and respect this woman she truly has brass balls, "yes I said it" Anna is a strong-willed woman who takes no less than she deserves and uses those who would and are using her to gain what they want from her or her from them. Truly a woman after my own heart.
This story is so flawlessly written I can't possibly tell you about it, what I can say is this...you must experience for the full effect, as this book will have an effect on you. It did me!

A reason to guide Sal in a certain direction and this book is Anna's turn to influence Sal. In the end everything comes back to Sal!

I was so happy to have a book about Anna! She’s such a feisty, strong woman who lead an incredible life. Her story is being told to Sal in 2015 and is told in a first person with some scenes of Anna taking directly to Sal.
Anna runs away from home at 15 to Vegas. She becomes a showgirl and is basically prostituted out to the various mafia bosses of the 1950’s. She gets in bed both literally and figuratively with different crime families through her life. Sometimes it works out, other times she pays the price. She learns of BDSM during her life, falls in love a few times, and learns so much. My heart ached for her through this story, but she remained true to herself and her goals throughout.

Every time I pick up KRS book I’m blown away by the imagination and creativity that flows through her stories. The story of Anna Ford is no exception, her life after she runs away from being stuck in an arranged marriage and an ordinary life is anything but ordinary! This to me was a coming of age story where Anna ran to the glitz & glam of being a coverted Las Vegas showgirl to the original Juliet school in France and everything in between.. we saw her love and be loved, we also saw her vulnerability and we saw her blossom into the bad girl she was always meant to be. With Jake, Luca & Sal all major players in the life that is Anna Ford. KRS thank you for giving us another fabulous insight into the wonderful world that is your imagination.

Wow! I am blown away! This is a masterpiece. Anna is brilliant. At some times I had to remind myself that this was a story created by someone. The ingenuity in the conversations and descriptions of the scenery was magnificent. This is unique story told from the perspective of different characters. It is dark, sexual and romantic. There is love on varying levels that march through Anna’s life that serve different purposes. She is a fierce and feisty character who embraces her sexuality with no excuses. It is definitely not for the feint of heart but if you want to have a really great and pleasurable reading experience this is definitely the book for you.

Although her life does have it’s fair share of sadness and pain,she never lost who she was and always found a way to find the good.
It’s impossible not to admire and love Anna.
Her free spirit and the fire inside her is something to behold especially in the time period of her life.

Anna's story takes us back in time and we get to find out what happened in her past and how she became Juliet. It’s a dark, gripping novel filled with action, danger, suspense, steamy scenes, romance and twists that left me speechless. The writing is beautiful, the characters are intriguing, and I rooted for Anna every step of the way. As always with Kailee Samuels books I had trouble putting it down which meant we had take out for dinner because I didn't want to stop reading. I loved this book and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fantastic book to read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
