While there were parts of this story that were funny and adorable, both Cameron and Jackson were super-chill, level-headed, and responsible guys, which didn't exactly bore me, but neither MC really inspired that much excitement, either.

They were great guys and I really liked them both, but for an upcoming TV star and a well-known gay porn actor, thrilling was about the very last word that I'd use for either of their lives.

They worked their jobs, came home, cooked and spent time together, but
I seem to be in the minority here. At least among my GR friends. But this is my favorite of the series. Hands down, the best. It hit every single button.

Texas Hill Country (gay) cowboy Jackson runs off to to Hollywood for his first big break in a TV series.

Roommate (not gay?) Cameron (Ballsy Boys' Campy) takes on a boarder to help make ends meet.

I fell in love with each of them in turn. Jackson is such a wholesome, good hearted man. Sweet, caring, non-judgemental. I could just feel his light
Although Campy hadn't made all that big an impression on me in the previous books, his story turned out to be one of my favorites of the series so far. A slow-burn, roommates to friends to lovers story that was low angst and all kinds of sweet.

Jackson with his Texas manners and drawl, is a romantic at heart. He has limited experience, yet he's not looking for a hook-up. He's a relationship kind of guy. Campy, is a good-hearted man who is weighed down by some secrets and some self-esteem issues.

I wasn't sure whether I was going to like this one as it, on the surface, focused on gay for pay (controversial in some circles) star Campy but I shouldn't have been worried.

There are enough little hints and snippets dropped into the opening couple of chapters for the reader to realise, way before Campy aka Cameron himself does, that he's bisexual and has had crushes on men he's never noticed for what they were.

Jackson's arrival in town, as Cameron's new roommate, begins to stir feelings he's

I've tried numerous times to get into Neuhold's work, but her writing style just doesn't do it for me. It's too chatty and breaks the fourth wall.

This book has other things going against it, like one of the MCs doing porn. Yes, yes, I know. The entire series features guys from the Ballsy Boys porn studio. That's sort of the point.

That's why I skipped the first three books, but the cowboy in this blurb called to me!

And, wow, was Jackson a nice guy. He was so damn good, he didn't feel real.

Another instalment in this series and it was great fun!

I was really curious about Campy and his roommate Jackson, considering we were told before that Jackson is straight. Well, the authors have quite a few surprises for us in that department! (And its not as straightforward - sorry, no pun intended - as you might think!)

Campy is probably the most torn character out of all so far. He has told so many lies to so many people its killing him. Meeting Jackson brings them all out in the open, one by

Busted! Hahaha, you got me, Ladies! 😂

Love it! And yeah, give me PIXIE! 😍

Oh this was cute ... even if I found it hard to believe Cams line ...Im straight but I work in gay porn ! Jackson was the stereotypical cowboy with good manners, the good ole boy, who fell for his roomie Cam in one moment. While the storyline was pretty easy to plot and follow, I liked the fact that this was just a simple sweet romance with low angst. Just a nice easy read ❤ ...more

We get Jackson and Cameron's story.

Cameron has been keeping so many secrets that they are starting to drag him down. When he gets a new roommate, Jackson, there is something about him that makes him open up. However, he worries how everyone will react when they find out he has been lying for years.

Fun read. Jackson and Cameron were adorable and cute together. Jackson opened Cam's eyes to part of him he didn't know existed.

Now give me Bear and Pixie. Gimme gimme gimme!!!
Not a bad story in this series...but I think I and everyone else that reads it are more than champing at the bit to read about Pixie and Bear, which must be coming along soon...surely?? No more teasing authors please.

The only person that didn't believe Campy was bi was Campy himself obviously 😃...or maybe he was just Jackson-sexual...and why wouldn't he be?? Have to say Jackson reminded me very strongly indeed of Tommy, one of the characters in First, and of course it just so happens that the

I loved Jackson, but I wasnt a fan of Campy.

Even though it was a minor thing, one plot line was never fully resolved. Cameron was offered a full time position at his non porn job, but were never told if he accepts.

This one might not be my favorite in the series? (That honor might go to Tank, I think!) But overall I enjoyed it.

I love this group of friends and getting to see little cameos from the guys in previous stories.

I also can't wait to finally get to Pixie's story!

Jackson was the sweetest character, I loved him immediately. And his southern accent melted me (I applaud the narrator, he did a fantastic job). Campy was a very complicated character and I think he was really well written. He made some bad choices but he changed and he grew and I really appreciate that as a reader. I have to admit that Campys denial about his sexuality made roll my eyes sometimes, he was just so clueless, but I really understand how hard it can be sometimes, and I thought it ...more

Campy (Cameron) is a Ballsy Boy. Uncomfortable in his own skin. He works as a porn star. Only able to work part time with the animals he loves. He takes care of his mom and dreams about veterinary school. When Jackson becomes his roommate he has no idea that all his dreams are just within his reach.

Jackson has become my new favorite (even if he isnt technically a Ballsy Boy). His love and care for Cameron was very sweet, not letting his secrets keep them apart.

The Ballsy Boys has been a fun

OMG! I totally didn't see it coming about Campy, what he was lying about..
Campy get himself a roommate, Jackson. A small town guy from Texas, he's clearly out of his element in L.A. They develop an easy friendship. Campy feels guilty about his secrets but feels he needs to keep them.
Jackson's innocence was endearing. His aversion to cursing made me smile many times.
I enjoyed watching Campy/Cameron coming to terms with his real self.
Both of their jobs could have ramifications for their

This was quite a slow-burner and I loved it. Tank is still my favorite book of this series but Campy is now a really, really close second. I read through Campy in one sitting, I even stopped my Kingdom Hearts binge-playing for it and I love Kingdom hearts, so you can imagine how excited I was for this book. I was absolutely not disappointed. Bring on the next book, ladies. :)

I knew deep down that Campys story was going to be special with how secretive and aloof he was but he blew me away!

Campy has so many secrets that they are about to suffocate him. He lies to Bear and the rest of the guys at Ballsy Boys that hes gay when hes really straight. He lies to his mother that hes a vet tech when he is truly a gay porn star. Its the only way he can keep a roof over each of their heads and the meds his mom so desperately needs to keep living. But the biggest

Gfy with a hot Texan cowboy.

Campy is a little bit sassy, and a lot confused. When Cameron meets his hunky Cowboy roommate, and gets asked on a date, he finally has to out himself as a straight man. But is he really straight? Especially when every date Jackson goes on leaves him jealous and territorial.

An excellent book, it didn't pull me in quite as strongly as the previous books, and I feel like some of that was Campy just being pulled in too many directions. It didn't leave enough time for

Another winner in this fantastic series from two of my favourite authors! I don't know how they do it but their stories are just so entertaining, drawing you in into it's grasp right from the start meaning that I finally finished at 2.20am :-)
Campy and Jackson finally get their story told and what a roller-coaster it is. Campy has a lot of secrets weighing on his shoulders and his new roommate, Jackson, is just too much of a temptation to ignore. He offers a supportive friendship and his Texan

I am an avid fan of KM Neuhold and Nora Phoenix's Ballsy Boy series, but Campy might just be my favorite. There is so much depth to Cameron and Jackson.

Campy entered porn for the money, despite being straight. He's a wonderful, loving son who's put his own dreams aside to help his mother. He dreams of going to school one day, but for now, he needs the money for his mother's bills. I never dreamed he'd be so sweet and sacrificial. He's been straddling the line between the porn star Campy and the

The newest Ballsy Boys story is BEYOND clever, hot, dirty, sweet and full of promise and was delectable! Jackson and Cameron aka Campy have AMAZING chemistry! These two hotties are so different but I feel their differences make things sizzle more. This was a perfect slow burn romance. It was wild and intense and wholly sexy and patient and perfect. I love this series. It did not disappoint. Campy (Cameron) and Jackson work are so great together. It was a slow burn, and it took a while for Cam to realize some things, but that just makes it better sometimes...

One thing I really like is the fact that this takes place at the same time Tank, so we see (and get to remember) some of that book as well. :)
