She's the Sweetheart of Sweet Romance.

He's romance's reigning sex god.

When the two accidentally collide at a book conference, sparks - and their luggage - fly.

Stacy Sanders had never heard of Gage Blackstone before.

If she'd known he was the man everyone called the "king of one-handed reads," she would have run away as fast as her Prada heels would take her.

I struggled to connect with this book and the characters. The almost thirty year old heroine is naïve and sheltered, though thankfully she wasn’t a virgin. Most distracting was her narration:

“My inner slut whimpered in desire.”

“My inner ‘ho cheered…”

“…my inner harlot…”

And that was just in one of the chapters.

“that tramp in my head…”

“my inner slut-muffin”

This was starting to feel like a drinking game.

“mental hussy”

“Sluterella whispered in my ear…”

“My sassy inner slut…”

It continued, and

I don't think I could stand the inner monologue of this heroine - totally cringe-worthy!

5 Star review The Novel Approach (Love Between The Pages #1) by Heather Guimond
Heather Guimond is a new author to me, although I have listened to a previous book by Heather Firth.
This was a fun listen and Heather Firth did a great job with the narration. I loved this quirky story about Stacy Sanders and Gage Blackstone. I was intrigued by the blurb for this book, and since I am jetting off next week to a book signing, this book seemed to have been dropped into my lap by fate.

I couldn’t continue reading after half of the book.
It was as if the story was covered by a flat and cold veil and didn’t evoke any emotions. The couple couldn’t convince me.
Apart from that, I wasn’t really fond of the interaction of the heroine with her inner slut.

The Novel Approach is an adorable story about two very different romance authors. Stacy writes "sweet romance"-off page sex and steam. She runs into a hunk of a man at the airport on the way to a romance authors' convention and he turns out to be another author. Gage is one of the top erotica authors! And all this takes place in London to boot!

I love the opposites attract trope because I think it allows the characters to each bring something vital to the relationship. Gage is well versed i

The Novel Approach was such a fun, exciting read for me! I loved this story and the characters and could not put this book down. Stacy and Gabe had amazing chemistry right from the very start and I was hooked by this story line.

This book really does have it all. There is drama, suspense, steamy romance and some hilarious moments. When good girl Stacy crashes into a tall, handsome, stranger at a writers convention she has no idea that he is the one and only King of erotic romance. When she final

What can I say? I loved this story. Gage is the bad boy and Stacy is the sweetheart. When they meet at a book conference, sparks fly and some drama begins. It was fun to read about a guy writing erotic romance while the girl writes sweet romance. The little twists and turns keep you turning the pages to see where the author will lead you. Can Gage and Stacy stay together? Well, just get the book and find out for yourself. LOL

Steamy and sweet The Novel Approach combines the best of both worlds with this delicious spin on opposites attract with a nice bit of mystery woven throughout making an already intriguing read darn near addictive! Heather Guimond mixes in the fun of the book world, which all my fellow bookworms will adore, with a romance that will sweep you up and have you fanning yourself.
Stacy is as innocent and sweet as her novels. Sweetheart is definitely fitting when it comes to her. While shy and a bit so

I thought The Novel Approach was really good it drew me in from start to finish there was alot of things I liked and tiny things that I didn't really like . This would be the first book that I've read by Heather Guimond and I can't wait to read more by her especially the more from the love between the pages series . The things I loved about the story was the characters , the uniqueness between the couple , the connection they shared , the story line , and the steamy sex scenes of coarse . There ...more

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Heather Guimond, and it definitely won't be the last. Ms. Guimond crafted this story with just the right balance of sweet, heat, and a bit of mystery. I love that this story is set in the indie book world, two authors who write romances but on the opposite ends of the spectrum.Stacy brings the sweet since she is the queen of sweet romances and Gage writes down and dirty erotic romance. However, their meet-cutes are both at the airport and hotel aft ...more

4.5 stars - steamy, romantic, humorous.

"I just got lucky crashing into you, not once but twice. I'm taking it as a sign. You're someone I was meant to meet."

Stacy Sanders is the Sweetheart of Sweet Romance. She's introverted and inhibited. She has her guilty pleasures but would never act on them. When she keeps bumping into the gorgeous Gage Blackstone, she almost can't believe that the attraction is mutual. When he finds out how unworldly and inexperienced she is, he's determined to show what

Stacey and Gage

Two Romance authors meet at a Romance convention in London. At first you wouldn’t think these two authors would have anything in common; she writes sweet chaste Romance while his book are listed as erotica. They do fall over each other and never look back.

Only impediment to their relationship is Gage has a crazy stalker that he’s afraid will go after Stacy out of jealousy.

I kept thinking, this is too simple a storyI should stop reading and move on but there was enough tension th

What happens when the sweetheart of sweet (vanilla!) romance meets the god of smut? The Novel Approach was a brilliant series starter from Heather Guimond. She is a new-to-me author, so I had no idea what to expect, but I found a clever plotline, likable characters who brought out the best in one another and a storyline that had me hooked from the start.

The meet-cute between Stacy and Gage is literally a collision. The handsome god of romance is blown away by the somewhat Plain Jane when they bu
This was an enjoyable read. I loved how the two MC's were both romance authors. She writes sweet romance and he writes more erotic stuff. Stacy was shy and Gage decides to help her come out of her shell. Besides the romance in the book we got some suspense/mystery. Gage had a stalker and throughout she would send weird stuff. I thought that I had it figured out but turns out I was wrong. Which is nice because the author had surprised me. ...more

In A Novel Experience, we met Gage Blackstone, a Playboy romance writer on his way to a book signing in London. Well, guess what?! He's back!!

A Novel Approach picks up where we left off with a very exhausted Gage crashing into fellow writer, Stacy Sanders, and nearly knocking her to the ground while waiting on a hotel check in line. There is an instant attraction for Gage, and while he tries to secure a second meeting with Stacy, the only thing on her mind is to get to her room and relax.

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and delightful story. It is well written and well told with interesting storylines that captivated me from start to end. I adored the two lead characters, both are authors of romance on the opposite end of heat, one writes squeaky clean the other steamy kink. Stacy Sanders “The Sweetheart of Sweet Romance” and Gage

I loved this insight in writer’s lives - and of course their love lives. What I loved about it was the earnestness of a writer’s sometimes solitary life. What I didn’t like was the part of the crazy fan and I thought it was a bit far-fetched. I loved reading about their passion and their lovelife, although I could kick his assistent sometimes, and I bet Stacy sometimes would want that too. It was kind of fun to see sweetheart and bad-ass getting together.

She's the Sweetheart of Sweet Romance.

What a fun and entertaining read! I loved the idea of a romance between authors who meet each other at a romance book convention! And you can’t get much more of an opposites attract couple with Stacy Sanders, the sweetheart of sweet romance and as vanilla as they come, and Gage Blackstone, the bad boy of erotic romance who oozes with sexiness. I enjoyed how Stacy came out of her shell around Gage, and her awkwardness lead to some funny moments and truly relatable situations. The mutual attractio ...more

You Can't Judge a Book by Its Cover or a Romance Writer by the Content of Their Stories....

What do you get when you combine two romance writers at opposite ends of the romance spectrum, a foreign locale and an instant attraction? You get Stacy and Gage on a literal collision course toward love! A Novel Approach is a fast-paced story filled with humor, sexual chemistry, a memorable cast of characters, and a fresh approach to a life imitating art romance. This is a story of two fellow authors writing in the same genre, different subset and realizing that love comes across all types of genre.

What I truly love was the writing collaboration between the couple and how they used this to explore their relationship and even strengthen it. The sex scenes were hot but not too graphic. I am delighted that the author gave us a behind the scenes look on what happens for an author during conventions and off the conventions. How an author is only human that w

Having gone to several author signings, I have wondered if the sweet, clean writers hang out with the steamier ones. Do they compare plots? Do they read each other's books? This sweet and steamy story gives us the inside look at 2 authors, who meet at a London signing, set next to each other in error. Stacy writes the sweet romances, and Gage the erotic romances. But this does not deter their attraction. I was hooked from the start on this one. It's fun, original and the banter is so amusing! Th ...more

Heather Guimond is a new to me author.. but I loved the blurb from this book so hard I had to read it.
Two different authors literally crashing together at a romance author book conference!! It was literally a Readers dream come true! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I loved that he was an erotica writer and she was a sweet romance author.. their differences made for a fantastic read and was echoed in their interactions.

This was a steamy read and the characters had some great chemistry. The story was great and on the whole

What happens when the Sweetheart of Sweet Romance & the King of erotic romance collide at a book conference? A whole lot of fun, that's what. Stacy has no clue when she runs into the handsome man, that he writes super sexy stories, and when she does find out, she decides they have nothing in common. It doesn't matter to her that they have crazy chemistry, like sparks flying everywhere, but it's funny how chemistry won't be denied. Gage is completely her opposite, and mouth watering hot, so there ...more

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I absolutely loved this book! Gage and Stacy were hot, hot, hot. Fate has brought them together, I’m convinced of it, they are complete opposites, she writes sweet romances and he writes erotic romances, but that doesn’t mean they’re not compatible. Stacy has read the darker more seductive books but keeps her desires hidden, but I have a feeling that Gage isn’t going to let that stand for long. As they spend time together, Stacy realiz ...more

4,5 sizzling hot, sexy and oh so romantic stars! Great story!

Like the protagonists in the novel author just had a brilliant idea to write story about author of erotic romances who ruins romance sweetheart for the other men forever. Such a great idea for the plot and brilliant delivery of one of the most romantic stories I've read. It's perfect combination of humour, fun, sweetness, heart-warming and romantic moments, scorching hot sex scenes and all this is spiced up with a little bit of suspens

Heather Guimond is a new author to me, and now I wonder where she’s been all this time. I really really really loved A Novel Approach. Gage and Stacy were hot, sweet, and amazing.

Gage writes erotic romance and has dozens of fans who want a piece of him—a superstar. Stacy is a sweet contemporary romance author who is successful in her own right but a little on the prudish side. They literally crash into one another at a book convention in London and find themselves trapped in each other’s orbit.

After reading so many romances, I always wonder what the authors think, or how they would be if they met. This story is a fun look at just that. Sweet meets kink and the sparks are flying. Stacy writes sweet romances and she is seated next to Gage, who is well known for his sexier romances. These two must meet somewhere in the middle for them to be a couple, The getting to that middle was the best part of this story. The chemistry they have is instant. The inside look at two authors really was a ...more

The Novel Approach is a hilarious Romance book. I absolutely loved it. I laughed so hard while reading this because Stacy and Gabe we funny in the things they did and said. Heather Guimond is a Los Angeles native, a fact she's abnormally proud of.
