I abandoned this book when the h farted while the H was going to fuck an ow in a bathroom. The h was having some stomach problem and she was using a stall. Obviously the hookup was stopped immediately after the fart. Later, she comes out thinking that nobody is there but the H was leaning against the wall across the bathroom.
And you know what he says after seeing her...
“Your wind was so strong it blew me away.”
I mean what the hell is this?
This is beyond embarrassing.

I'm dissappointed. Having met Cam and Kara in Chasing Red and having been so curious about what happened between them, I thought I'd get answer in this book but NOPE.
This book is their beginning, how they met, got along, got to 'dating' but it had nothing to do with what happened between them in Chasing/Always Red, it was all from before and it was extremely disappointing for me. The story started out slow, and although I'm all for the "miscommunication trope" I felt it was a bit dragged on and quite repetitive to the point of tiring. Had I've been younger, I would've enjoyed this more... I think.
The last quarter of the book was better however, I found the ending quite a bit rushed that left me a little underwhelmed.
Overall, it didn't work out for me. But if you are in for an angsty YA, this must be it for you. After all, it did received a lot of praise on wattp ...more

3.5 stars ⭐️ bad boy story, This story got me hook wanting to know what was next most of the time, but I really had to admit that it got me really annoy most of the time the main girl acted like a doormat, and she was described as this though girl, well I didn’t see that! And for the bad boy I just wanted to punch him!

DNF ~ I didn’t realize this was a YA genre novel when I began but gave it a chance. At about page 90 I gave up, read the end, realized that it would be a HFN ending that leads to another book and decided not to invest more time reading. I believe that for those who enjoy this genre it may be just the thing but for me...not so much.

I was 50/50 on this. I really enjoyed some parts and other just didn't strike a cord with me. At the end of the day is was a Rom-Com that had me laughing quote a bit. If you have read the authors other works you will enjoy this.
The characters were a little one dimensional for me and missed the mark on being reliable, but in the end I did finish the book and enjoy the love story portion of it.
I won't rate further because even though this didn't strike with me, it may with you.

I'm really torn on this one. I actually enjoyed the story. There were parts of it that I found silly yet they didn't take away from the story enough to spoil it. Kara and Cam are captivating characters and I enjoyed the sizzle between them. I also liked how the author unveiled their backstories slowly. What I didn't like about this book was the writing itself. I found it amateurish at times and in need of better editing. I think this author has real potential but needs more guidance in construct

I don’t read many Wattpad authors. Really, Anna Todd is the only one I’ve read from Wattpad. But, the premise of Ronin’s novel sounded yummy so I dived into her book. My thoughts? She’s definitely a talented author and I’m glad I had the pleasure of reading this one.

I really enjoyed the electrifying battle of wills between Cam and Kara and the odd laugh out loud moments in this book. Both characters are independent and very abrupt. They don’t suffer fools gladly.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I really enjoyed reading this book. I love the relationship between cameron and Kara ♥️♥️♥️ I love the way cameron teases Kara and doesn’t give in to Kara all the time. I love it even more when Kara doesn’t give up and always wants to get the last word during their banter 😆 Their banter throughout the book is awesome. Never a boring moment when they are together. The drama/angst is perfect as well that makes you want to read more to know what’ll happen next beca

1/2 Star! This is my first DNF of the year and that’s saying something because I pride myself on finishing every book I start. This is WattPad fan fiction turned published novel at its worst. Little character development for cliche one dimensional characters, open ended plot points each chapter, no true conflict other than miscommunication. After 238 pages enough is enough, give the reader something other than forced drug out dialogue, filler scenes and overreacting female protagonist. More than

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I thought this romance was intense and full of delicious sexual tension. Kara is a college student determined to provide for her broken family. She feels this intense connection to Cameron when they meet which both excites and makes her afraid. The best part of this novel is that the author writes in dual perspectives so we have the opportunity to understand Cameron's troubled past and feel the depth of his need for Kara ...more

The primary couple in Spitfire in Love were introduced in Isabelle Ronin's Chasing Red series. You don't have to have read the previous books, but I think that's what attracted me to Spitfire. The story itself is entertaining. The characters are engaging. I felt something was uneven in the flow and pacing of the book. It's a large book and it seemed to meander a bit. I wished it had been tightened up a bit, and though I appreciated the banter, the dialogue became a bit repetitious at times. I ap

From chasing red i was so excited to see these too together but nothing i came to the this thinking i would find that but nothing.
I must say i get the love at first sight thing but not in both books.
It just yo slow for me and it keeps on dragging in the next one as well. I want cameos of Calab and Red but i got zero.
I do love the mystery of Cam and how Kara is so head strong and confident.
I just need more spice and answers that don't require me to read three books

1.75: I wanted to like this book; I really did. I loved the Chasing Red series sooooo much and was excited to continue the story with Kara and Cameron. Honestly, I didn't love Kara too, too much in Chasing Red because she refused to look outside her own prejudice and pride, but I was hoping it would get better. Spoiler: it didn't.

I enjoy Kara and Cam love story. They have instant fireworks when met. Cameron knows she is important but don't understand the new feelings. Kara knows he is the one, she feel what she always imagine love will be. Bet they can't control the strong chemistry and the sparks that ignited inside them when are near each other.

YA is not my favorite genre and this book is not that bad. But, for me, this story didn't have chemistry, I don't feel connections between characters and I am so sorry to tell but most of the time I feel bored. This book is definitely not my cup of tea and 3 stars are my ratings. Thank you, Net Galley, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this opportunity.

I have no idea how to review this since it took me so long to read and the first two I read in no time at all. Kara and Cameron are enough to make my head spin. I love them, I do but their wasn't much laughter for this one, it seemed all to serious. I will keep following Isabelle but I hope book 2 of this book is better. Restless In Love is on Wattpad for the following development of this book but I am one to wait until officially published for the Wattpad Author's.

It's pretty unclear from the book itself (unless you see the one line mention at the end of the book) that this is actually part of the series. I picked it up not knowing that. That wasn't why I DNF'd though. That was because this heroine was just... flat. I mean, she's written as though she has a lot of personality but she's just... bland. Overall, the writing and the characters didn't engage me at all here, and seeing some of the other reviews, I am okay with my choice to DNF this one.

I'm not going to hate on this author. I don't know if this is her first book or not but, she has potential. I think the editing needs to be better, and maybe the writing style is a bit amateurish? Not that the story wasn't good. I think a few tweaks would make the book better. It was still a good story that I enjoyed (of course, everyone has an opinion), but I think we should help her make this book better.

I bought this on a whim just because I was in the mood for a new romance book. I've not read any of the other two books, yet.
It was a cute read. It has some good quotes, too. It's pretty much the same type of romance, just different names, pasts, occupation, etc.

I absolutely love Kara as a character. Her personality is pure fire and comedy. As much as I wanted to like Cameron, I found him too possessive and just manipulative. His reasoning for almost every stupid thing he did just wasn't making sense to me.

I really do love Kara and Cam. How they met was so so funny. But I've got to say that the ending was soft. I got a bit tired of the "I-kiss-you-and-leave" scenes, since it became constant at some point. But I did enjoy it.
Also, there is no answer as what really went down in Chasing Red, it's like previously. Though I really want to know, I'm not in a hurry. ...more
