I believe that this volume will be purely chapter 4 as like chapter 3, it is a rather long chapter compared to chapter 1 and 2!

“There's this idea that if you're not straight, you have to tell all your family and friends immediately, like you owe it to them. But you don't. You don't have to do anything until you're ready.”
I adore everything that Alice Oseman writes and Heartstopper is no exception. Obviously. It's so wholesome and heart-warming, so cute and lovely. It's a feel-good read, for sucky days and happy days alike. Something to make a sunny day brighter and something to hide under the covers with when you can't ...more

You know that moment when your entire soul melts into a book because it is warm and comfortable and safe, but also relatable and vulnerable and sometimes sad?? Me. And Heartstopper Vol 3. 🥺I am such a pile of emotions right now. This book is a warm hug and wholly uplifting, but it also touches on a lot of the harder parts of being a teen and queer and figuring it all out. Like how things can be okay now, but it doesn't erase bad things in the past. Mental illness is an insidious beast and it som

*Okies, that is one perfect kissing scene there! Make me feel single all you want. Nick and Charlie, I give you two the whole galaxy kinda permission.
And that bum booping though ☺️
✨Alice Oseman, you're saving the world and ME!
What's new?
This volume is as super cute as the last volume but this one is more intense and there's more stories than just Charlie's and Nick's.
This particular volume describes about a Paris trip.

Volume 3 of Alice Oseman's amazing
Heartstopper
series hit me square in the feels, just like the last two books!
Nick and Charlie and their friends return in this, the third volume of Oseman’s amazing graphic novel series about young love, struggling with your identity, and finding the courage to be who you are and be with whom you choose.
Nick has just come out to his mother and he and Charlie take tentative steps toward becoming boyfriends. But both are nervous about how everyone—their frien ...more

This is just as sweet as the previous two volumes and Nick and Charlie are still being their cute and adorable selves. They are getting to know each other better and I just love how supportive and caring they are.
Their trip to Paris is so much fun and it also gives us an opportunity to learn more about other characters, as well.
Another great thing about this volume is that it touches on some more serious subjects and I really like how they are handled.

Adorable & real as I knew it would be!
Nick and Charlie are officially dating, and a school trip to Paris with all their friends sounds perfect!
But with Nick still not completely out yet, and a few homophobic assholes around things were never gonna run smoothly.
I love all the different characters in here, I love the difficult issues Alice Osman tackles including homophobia, self harm and eating disorders. I’m sad that I have to wait until 2021 for the next instalment. But I can’t wait for more N ...more

My heart feels so warm after reading this. Nick and Charlie and their group of friends must be protected at all cost, I swear! I appreciate Oseman's way of bringing out of the surface things most of us are afraid or hesitant to talk about. Communication and acceptance for me are the main things about here. There was drama but at the same time not overly done? Just the proper amount to spice things up and to give the characters the chance to talk about their issues. Love this!

"Oh. You're being gay. Good job. Carry on."
I have been living my best life this evening by sipping wine and reading three volumes of one of my new favourite series. Nick and Charlie remain just as adorable throughout this instalment, but heavier topics are also introduced. Also, Paris. How can you dislike something set largely in the city of love?

Update, 12/9/20: The just announced winner of the 2020 Goodreads category for Graphic novels/Comics! And for once I am not upset about the winner! A real, feel-good queer romance, very fast read, that wins in a kind of landlside, good for Alice Oseman and anyone who voted for it, yay!
