Better Than Me is book two in the Remington Medical series by Kimberly Kincaid. In the first book, Back to You, we met the two main characters of this book, Natalie and Jonah, two surgeons, best friends. Now we get their story.

Natalie Kendrick is thirty-two years old and is a pediatric surgeon at Remington Memorial Hospital. She loves what she does and she’s very good at it. Even with all of the stress and sadness that is part of her job, Nat is such an optimist. She believes in love, in finding

When Natalie’s apartment becomes a disaster zone, she convinces her best friend to let her stay with him even if it means breaking his “women don’t stay over” rule and ends up upending Jonah’s life. Not only is she super smart, generous and caring, she’s also incredibly sexy and the only woman who is unaffected by

I don't know if it's my fault or the book's, probably a little bit of both.

So, I'm in that moment where I've just finished an absolutely amazing book and it's hard to find something else to read, something not as good but something decent nonetheless. I'm still crying over that book and thinking about all the wonderful, great people I met there and the amazing things they went through.
Why did it have to end? WHY?!

Probably any read that follows a 5-star on

While this is a safe read (no OM/OW drama, cheating or sex scenes with OP), I think that is about all that I liked about it.

Hero,(Jonah) is a surgeon who works in the same hospital as heroine (Natalie). He was raised by a single Father who didn't often express emotions. When he was young (6 yrs old I think), his mother left them and from that experience, his father shut down and he was left with abandonment issues. Which of course didn't help him in his adulthood whe

I love a friend to lover romance and when you throw in attractive doctors it makes for a very interesting read.

Natalie and Jonah start off as best friends who end up living together due to an accident. They soon come to realize their attraction for each other. What could go wrong with falling in love with your best friend? Guess you will just have to read and find out.

You GUYS! I'm so excited to bring you Dr. Jonah Sheridan's (hard-fought!) HEA with his best friend and fellow doctor, Natalie Kendrick. If you like friends to lovers, a hero who will charm his way into you (ahem!) heart, and super-sexy standalone romances that are all HEA, then this is the perfect book for you.

After all, the hotter they are, the harder they fall :)

This book can be read as a complete standalone. No cliffhangers, no spoilers. It is set in the world of Remington Medical, where som

New book boyfriend…CHECK! Dr. Jonah Sheridan…swoon!!!

Better Than Me, written by one of my very favorite authors, Kimberly Kincaid, gave me all the feels! My heart…oh my poor heart!!! This story made me laugh, smile, love, cry…I HAD TEARS!!! I stayed up way too late and didn’t regret it the next day…not one bit!

Dr. Natalie Kendrick never would have expected to be displaced by her upstairs neighbor’s bathtub falling through her ceiling. Natalie’s best friend, Dr. Jonah Sheridan, Mr. “Orgasm Whisp

It's 2019!!!!!!!!!! Stop with the misogynistic manwhore/virgin trope. It's bad enough we deal with misogyny in the real world and female authors keep reminding us in every damn book they write ugh

Will be adding this author to my never read list.

Oh my goodness, this book was so good! Do not miss this one!!! If I could have put life on hold and read this one in one sitting I would have. First it starts off with Natalie Kendrick, a pediatric surgeon who always looks for the silver lining, finding a cast iron tub in the middle of her living room after it crashes though her ceiling (good thing she was not home at the time). Now being virtually homeless, because she refuses to stay with her overprotective parents, she moves in with Jonah She ...more

Who doesn’t love a best-friends-to-lovers romance? I know I absolutely adore them! And Better Than Me is one of my favorites! I knew Jonah and Natalie would move beyond their friendship.

But man, it took some convincing. I totally understood where both Jonah and Natalie stood—both absolutely cherished their deep friendship, not wanting to risk losing that if things didn’t work out romantically between them. But once they took a chance on themselves and love, wowza, I couldn’t help but grin from e

Kimberly Kincaid aims straight for the heart in this second installment of her Remington Medical series. If the best-friends-to-lovers trope wasn't enough to hook me, her characters and the journey Kincaid guides them through was. I adore these two. I love their ease with one another, how they always have each other's backs, how they navigate the awkwardness that ensues when a falling bathtub (yes, you read that right) causes them to become temporary roommates. Kincaid hits just the right notes ...more

I was absolutely thrilled to now read book two, A Remington Medical Contemporary Romance. Written by Kimberly Kincaid. Romance is now blooming for the staff at this hospital. I certainly couldn’t put this book down once!!

The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Well hello, Jonah. Be my friend. Natalie and Jonah were friends, in the medical field, knew all about chemistry, in very close proximity to each other, and knew a lot about the other. I entered this series with book two and I want to go back to book one. I love friends-to-lovers. I love when they have a history. I loved when there is so much more to them getting together. I found a cast of character that I would like to know more about. I found them to be fun, rich, and felt like family.

**4-4.5 stars** I love reading the friends-to-lovers genre and if it’s written by Kimberly Kincaid, even better!

Jonah Sheridan, a trauma surgeon and Natalie Kendrick, a pediatric surgeon at Remington Medical have been best friends for years. When Natalie’s downstairs apartment is damaged from an upstairs apartment’s bathtub falling through her ceiling, she moves in temporarily at Jonah’s place until repairs can be made.

Jonah is known for his wild ways and “no relationships” policy and even havin

This book is insanely good! Jonah Sheridan and Natalie Kendrick have been best friends for years. The playboy trauma surgeon and the sunny pediatric surgeon have a fantastic, platonic relationship. Then Nat desperately needs a place to stay and Jonah reluctantly agrees to become roommates and suddenly everything changes.

I wish I could give this more than five stars!! Jonah is my favorite kind of book boyfriend: gorgeous, sexy, cocky and when he finally falls, you know he will fall hard. Natalie

Better than Me is the second fabulous installment in Kimberly Kincaid’s super-sexy Remington Medical saga set in North Carolina. It’s a wonderful contemporary romance and an addictive medical drama that any layperson can relate to. Better than Me works perfectly well as a standalone if that is your preference. That said, the first book, Back to You, ranks as one of my favorite stories this year. Believe me, you want to read it! This is Dr. Jonah Sher

The accurate synopsis spells this story line out pretty clearly here, my fellow medical romance book loving friends. If it intrigues you, my diagnosis for you is to pull up a chair, put your feet up, and dive right in this stand-alone but part of a series, friends to lovers romantic tale.

Better brace yourself though for this afraid to love/commit, handsome, hunk of a doctor’s womanizing past reputation. He’s known as the king of one night stands, which we are often reminded. We are given an exp

As a big fan of medical shows, I knew I needed medical romance books in my life as well. Better Than Me sounded like the perfect book to start off with. I have to say, I was hooked from the start. Not only because of the amazing characters and story line, but the fact that the author included them dealing with patients (and one that was really close to the heart). Don't get me wrong, I love all things romance, but it's nice when the book isn't only focused on that aspect!

I am loving this new Remington Medical series which is set in North Carolina. I really like the way the author blends in medical aspects from their work because it is part of their lives and makes them more realistic. This ability is one of the reasons I favor Kimberly Kincaid. I am not a medical expert so I don't know

Natalie and Jonah snuck up on me. I thought I had them pegged from the very beginning, and I wasn’t completely wrong, but there were enough surprises to keep me interested and invested in their story. We’ve seen this a million times – the unrepentant manwhore and the virgin – and I was initially torn on whether to even keep reading. Honestly, I’ve been inundated with virgins recently, and I don’t know where they’re all coming from. But I kept going, and I’m so glad I did.

5 Star Review of Better Than Me (Remington Medical #2) by Kimberly Kincaid

Kimberly Kincaid is a new author to me and I have absolutely no idea why that is. This story had me engaged from the first chapter until the last, in fact I couldn’t put it down.

Back to You (Remington Medical #1)

This is Natalie and Jonah’s story. She’s off limits and he should be chanting that every time he sees her but that is still not going to stop him from looking. Eventually looking is just not going to be enough. She is staying with him and sleeping on his couch, so temptation is too much. Working

OMG, I literally could not put this book down. I truly enjoy all of Kimberly Kincaid’s books, but Jonah and Natalie have stolen the spot as my favorites,

Jonah, who is sexy as hell, (that’s how I picture him) and has lots of snarky comebacks to his peers and his best friend, Natalie. And Natalie, with her sweet and generous spirit, is just adorable and you can’t help but cheer for her to get her HEA.

This story literally has it all..... wit, humor, laughter, angst, and plenty of sexy-time.

Never have I been a fan of medical drama. However, every once in a while I'll take a risk and try one on for size. Kincaid, after all, is a temptation that is not to be missed. Better Than Me proved a pleasant surprise. Heart, humor and hormones battle it out to see which one will end up on top. Jonah and Natalie put their friendship on the line and discover that when it comes to happily ever after, some things are worth waiting for. Went in a skeptic and came out a winner.

I absolutely loved this book! Natalie and Jonah are so great together both in friendship and in love. This story was both sweet and sexy. Each one is struggling with their own issues, but they figure out sometimes it is better with someone else to go through them with. You will not be disappointed with this book, or anything Kimberly Kincaid writes.

There are not enough words to tell you how amazing this book was! Natalie and Jonah story was everything I thought it would be and so much more. This book had me laughing and crying, it was abit of an emotional rollercoaster! With some familiar "faces" appearing along the way and a sneak peak into who the next book in the series is about this is another must read from Kimberly.
