John Miglis's first novel, *Not a Bad Man*, was published by William Morrow to critical acclaim, followed by *Masterwork*, named by The New York Times as one of its best books of the year, and *Killing Eyes*, a national bestseller. A former screenwriter with more than fourteen produced screen and television credits, Miglis returned to fiction with *Americano*, an historical coming-of-age drama set against the backdrop of the Cuban Revolution. He lives in Florida, where he continues to write fiction.
Novel inspired by an actual event in which a man slashes Rembrandt's The Night Watcher in Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum and about the man who restores the painting.
