I have always had a soft spot for cozy-mysteries set in B&B and I must say this one is no exception. Southern Harm, the second book in A Southern B&B Mystery series held me in thrall the entire time with the Southern charm, the strong plot, and most importantly, its vibrant characters.

Although this is the second book in the series, you don't necessarily have to read the previous book. Granted, there's no doubt you can better appreciate this installment if you read the previous book

I love a good cozy and Caroline Fardig writes some of the best I currently read. The setting is in Savannah at Christmas time, although there is nothing Christmasee about the plot. The characters are great and the plot has a lot of twists and turns before the ending.

Quinn Bellandini, amateur sleuth and manager of her grandfather's B&B, only wants a normal Christmas. She is helping her boyfriend, Tucker Heyward build a patio and firepit for his Aunt Lela. What could be easier than digging up

This is the second installment in the Southern B&B Mystery series by author Carolyn Fardig. I enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to the second. Let me say, I was not disappointed. Ms. Fardig has set the series in Savannah with its southern charm and then populated it with fun, quirky and interesting characters that attract readers. I particularly enjoy the relationship between sisters Delilah (or D as she is called throughout the book) and Quinn. They are so different yet the ...more

This is the second book in the Southern B&B Mystery series by Caroline Fardig.

The Bellandini sisters are back and invested in a new investigation. This one centers around Tucker’s aunt and a murder that happened in 1986 when the aunt was in high school. The dead body of a classmate was found in her backyard. Apparently, Quinn and Delilah’s parents were also friends of this gal since they were in the same class. Quinn agrees to dig into the past at Tucker’s request since he is

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Great Escapes Book Tours. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Southern Harm by Caroline Fardig is wonderfully written, with great characters, it's the perfect Southern mystery.
Will Quinn find enough evidence to get Aunt Lela out of jail for murder, or will she make matters worse?

Southern Harm is the second book in Caroline Fardig’s Southern B&B Mystery series. This is a fun and easy read, with humor, Southern charm, and an interesting mystery involving the decades’ old disappearance of a recently graduated high school girl. Suspects abound, and the twists and turns kept me guessing until the reveal. The mystery is well-plotted, and the characters are well-developed. I’m looking forward to reading future books in this series.

Quinn & her sister Delilah Ballandini run the family B&B and in between duties they investigate murders.

This time the victim is a not well liked classmate of their parents who was believed to have left town on graduation night. Instead it is Quinn who uncovers her buried body while helping her boyfriend put in a garden at his aunt's home. The plot seemed to wander around a bit but overall it was a good read. There were lots of twists and a surprise murderer.

Southern Harm by Caroline Fardig is the 2nd book in A Southern B&B mystery series, and another great novel. I have enjoyed Ms. Fardig books for years, especially the Java Jive Series, which made me sad when it ended. In this series Quinn and Delilah Bellandini are two sisters who run their grandfather's bed and breakfast in Savannah, Georgia. When Quinn and her boyfriend, Tucker, find a skeleton while working on his Aunt Lela yard, Lela becomes the primary suspect. Quinn is determined to get ...more

Finding the perfect Christmas gift for her boyfriend Tucker’s Aunt Lela perplexed Quinn. When Tucker come up with the idea of making an outdoor firepit for his aunt to enjoy during the colder days in Savanna, Quinn knew it would be perfect. They started right away, even though a hot spell was blanketing the area. The sweltering heat had them sweating in Lela’s back yard, but when human bones were dug up as the work began things really heated up.

Aunt Lela is promptly arrested after the bones are

One of my favorite mystery writers in back (in my hands) with a new series. While this is the second book in the Southern B&B Mystery series, and I did not read the first, I cannot wait to go back and read it. Also I will be reading the 3rd book in the series soon to review as well!

This can be read standalone and it won’t confuse you. If you love mysteries and haven’t read anything by Caroline...seriously...do it. I’ll wait…….
It is a quick read but definitely all kinds of twisty a mystery

Southern Harm, Caroline Fardig’s second entry in her B&B series set in Savannah, just about spun my head around with its huge cast of characters and suspects. The central character is Quinn Bellandini, and the book is told from her point of view. Her boyfriend, Tucker Hayward and sister Delilah, are also heavily featured. The thread of the book follows Quinn, Delilah and Tucker as they try to clear his aunt of a 33 year old murder charge, making for a huge cast of characters, as they ...more

Southern Harm by Caroline Fardig is the second novel in the A Southern B&B Mystery. I have read other cozy mysteries by Caroline Fardig, so I was looking forward to this new series.
