'The Trouble with Kissing Frogs' by Seven Steps tells the story of Sophia and Joe, two people who seemingly find love at first sight, only to have it ripped away by lies.

While Sophia never means to hurt Joe, she lies to him about her name in order to spare herself any trouble. When the cat is let out of the bag a year later, Joe is beside himself with anger, letting her know that he doesn't intend to have anything to do with her. The problem is that they now attend the same school, and Sophia ha

The good new about Seven Steps’ The Trouble With Kissing Frogs: A Stand Alone YA Contemporary Romance (St. Mary's Academy Book 6) - and isn’t that a monstrously long title that kindle used - is that it is both a wonderful YA romance as promised and a book that easily deserves five stars on a standalone basis. The bad news is that, despite what I just wrote, you’ll be making a major mistake reading this one as a standalone. The fun of this book is doubled by actually seeing Sophia in action, gett ...more

It took me way too long to read this book...story. And let me tell you why. I just didn't have an easy connection with Sophia as I did with the other girls, including Cassia and Meg. Maybe it was just that the prologue was so into her beginning with her life changing boy (was it supposed to be book 0?) But I slowly got more into it. What I love about Seven Steps, is that she writes characters that are not all cut from the same cloth. She has a diverse set of characters, with problems that you ma ...more

So cute! The Trouble With Kissing Frogs tells the story of Sophia Tiana Johnson. For, those of you that have read the previous installments in this series, she is the fierce front-woman in Bella & Cole’s band. Based on what we see of her in those previous snippets, the story of what’s really going on in her life is definitely not what you’d expect or predict. I won’t give away spoilers but Sophia is juggling a *whole lot*. Seven Steps always does a great job with character development & ...more

The Road To Where You Are Meant To Be
This is a wonderful addition to the series. The story is as wonderful as the rest of the series. Teenagers finding themselves and parents learning to let their teenagers have the room to make some mistakes. I have enjoyed each episode of this series, especially this one. As the parent of a teenager, I identify with the mother in this story and can relate to the daughter's issues, too. Great job! I received this book for free and this is my honest review.

Been with the series since the first book. Can highly recommend it. Standalone books but with recurring characters so you can still follow your favourites.
Cute YA read, loosely based on the Princess and the frog though Joe is definitely no frog!! Sophia has an overbearing mother and cousin and is no grade A student. Life can be difficult but you need to weather the storms and hopefully this will make you a better person.

I really enjoyed this book.

I am still reading the first books in this series as
I got this book and the next book as arcs had to read
them first.

I really enjoyed other books of seven and loved them
them too.

I will be recommending this book to friends and family.

Thanks for the chance seven to be on your team.

It’s official. I am addicted to these books. I love each character and for all different reasons. The stories and plot twists overlap with each other and are perfectly combined. I need an unlimited amount of these stories.

This book seemed like a mystery because of all the secrets the characters were keeping. It really turned into a coming of age story with several love stories intertwined.
