I adore cats, and I thought this was a super adorable book. It goes through saying why cats are the worst, but it also gives the cat's opinion on why humans are the worst. And it has a super cute ending, that made me smile.

The parallel complaints about cats by humans, and about humans by cats charmed me, reminding me of many a four-legged family member and what they might think of me in turn! Cats Are the Worst has a cute, well-executed premise. It’s full of clever drawings which compare people’s complaints about cats to how the kitties see the same situation.

My favorites:

Human: "Cats never use the expensive beds or toys you buy them!"
Cat: "Humans are always throwing out the best part--the box!"

Human: "Cats sit and stare for ages at things that aren't there, and they hiss at nothing! It's totally creepy!"
Cat: "Humans are blind. They can't even see the most obvious stuff floating right in front of their faces!"

Kudos go to author Bexy McFly (a perfect kitty name!) for a fun entry into the feline humor genre.
