Falling.

I can’t remember the men that pulled me out of the sea.

I don’t remember who I am.
But they know me and they say we all grew up together on Sixa.

They say that I saved them from death a long time ago, and I know a secret that could save our town.
That could save the world of Calais...

When everything goes wrong on the islands, and war is whispered in the winds, will her men be able to get her memories back before it’s too late?

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I was ready to dive back into the Pirates world with this new novella as I miss all of the characters. This is a nice look into an event that happened during that series that we did not get the details for at the time. Great way to catch up with our faves while getting a little more insight into what really happened. Perfect for fans of the series even if it was over too soon. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Brilliant little novella. I was dubious to read this. It wasn't based on my pirates and favourite lead character. However I am so pleased I did. It opens up a view from a different vantage point. And you have again a beautiful ending that gives insight into their happily ever after. 5 star read. Absalutely loved it.

I received this free novella from the authors website (at this link: https://books.bookfunnel.com/freebook...). This is my honest review.

I read this as book 2.5, since that is how goodreads listed it, and at first I was super confused. These are characters we've not been introduced yet and it's on an island we haven't visited yet.

BUT it has a major clue for one of the pieces of Cassandra's riddle that she has to solve, and one of pirates was mentioned since he is from this island and knows these people.

I'm glad I read this before book 3 since it has a lot of clues that I'm sure will help make sense in the third and final book in this series!

As I Fall (AIF) is a novella that's set in the same world as Saved by Pirates (SbP). In a sense this was nostalgic in a way because it tells the story of how Eowynn & her guys helped Cassandra & her guys in SbP.
OMS... I Think SbP was the 1st series of G. Bailey's I read (so in an essence, SbP popped my little Bailey cherry lol). Yes, it has been a long time since reading SbP, but after the second or third paragraph, you'll start to remember snippets of Cassandra's story & in hind sight Eowynn's. Overall, I really like AIF, would recommend this, & I can't wait for Lost Heir.

This is a follow up to the saved by pirate series, it continues on with a different set of characters but it all ties together. I'd suggest you read those 1st before you get this one. As I fall helps to tie some of the story together and gives a little insite to a few of the characters as well as how they helped assist the other characters in the previous books. This is a quick read but oh so worth it! I really enjoyed this series and loved getting more on this world with new characters. I can’t wait to see what comes out next!

No spoilers included.
This book was fantastic but very short, I wished it had been longer because I didn’t want it to end.
I absolutely love the way G. Bailey is able to transport her readers into the reality that she has created.
I could almost smell the snow and the fish that were mentioned in this story.
Anyway I’m off to find more of Madam Bailey’s books that I have yet to read, hopefully I find some since I have read a lot of her work.
But yes I do recommend this book because I thought it was awesome!

I received an ARC copy of this book.

As I Fall is related to the Saved by Pirates series by a different set of characters. We have Eowynn ( Wynn ) and her four husbands Fen, Diego, Cullen and Shan. This short also helps to tie some of the characters together and gives us insight into motives and why they have done what they have done. We get to know Wynn ( since she has amnesia) and it was so romantic with the guys and them taking care of her. Loved this glimpse of the Saved by The Pirates series.

This novella is a snippet, a bite, a little vignette into the world of Eowynn and her husbands. It's set in the same world as the other books, but is predominantly about Wynn and how she comes to meet Cassandra and the events that lead up to it. It's a quick, fun read, and gives backstory and context to these characters.

Great short story

This is a follow up to the pirate series so I'd suggest you read those 1st before you get this one. It helps tie some of the story together and gives a little insite to a few of the characters. This is a quick read, maybe an hour? But it's still good. G. Bailey never writes a bad story

An Amazing Tale

This story catches you from the first page per GL Bailey’s regular style but I love that it had a different twist at learning more of each characters background. We met these characters in her Saved by Pirates series but seeing this side makes me want to do a re-read instantly.

As I Fall

Great short story about Eowynn! We get a little back story of Wynn and her men and how they help Cassandra. Definitely recommend you read the first books before this one though. It was nice to get a little piece of SBP world!

As I Fall is a short novella by G. Bailey, relating to the Saved By Pirates series. The story follows Eowynn (Wynn) regaining her memory and how her story interconnects with Cassandra.
I feel like this might also end up being a little bit of an intro story before Lost Heir is released.

As I fall is a short book that is in the same world as the Pirates series. This book seems to tie everything together. It was great to find out more about Wynn and her guys. I hope G Bailey does more Pirates in the future.

As I fall

I wish there was more to this book. Wish I got to learn more about Wynn and her men. However, I did like the little glimpse we got of Cassandra at the end, as “saved by pirates” is one of my favorite books.

I understand it was a novella but it just seemed too abrupt for my tastes.

Short story

Nice little short story filling in the reader on Wynn. Bailey's books are always amazingly written. To be read after the Saved by Pirates series.

To me G.Bailey can do no wrong in her books...I loved Saved by the Pirates and how this book connected to those books! It helps to fill in some of the story of the other series....however you should read those books first! This is a quick, captivating story that held my attention all the way through.

I loved how this novella took us back to the Saved by Pirates world. The focus is on different characters but there might just be cameos of our favorites from Saved by Pirates. It was a quick and fun read. If you haven’t read this series you need too.
