I really liked this book. We meet Kari, a single mom of two who will do anything for her family. She runs a children's charity with her douche of an ex husband. She is sweet and caring and will do anything for those she loves whether it is family or friend. I really liked her as a character. Her ex-husband is one of the biggest asshole I have ever read about. He is verbally abusive towards her and just cannot let her move on even though he has his new younger model girlfriend.

Morgan is a Hollywood bad boy type that is trying to revamp his image. What better way than helping out with a children's charity. Morgan doesnt think anything about it when meeting with the charity worker since he has had a woman on his mind for awhile, ever since he had one dance with her at an event. Boy does he get a shock when Kari, the woman from the event, is the one who approaches the table for their charity meeting.

Together these two demonstrate how a past relationships can have an unfortunate effect for future relationships. There is abuse in both pasts, self-worth issues, body image etc. These two will take us through an ebb and flow relationship. Read Roberts book to see how it ends.

She is a single working mom raising two kids on her own. is dealing with the aftermath of her divorce and raising two kids on her own. She goes on a getaway with her friend to have some fun something she truly deserves, while there she meet Morgan and they dance the night away and never got each others info to keep in touch. Luckily she is in charge of a charity event that her ex actually gives into giving it to her since he doesn't think she would attract someone like Morgan little did he know or her for that matter that not only was Morgan attracted to her but it was the same guy from the getaway and then my friends the fun begins.. Enjoy!

This is the first time I've read this author,,,,, I really enjoyed her story,,,,, 

Morgan Ward lives in LA and he's been in movies playing the hard men, the hero, he wants more though,,,,, his mother has been a model for many of the major fashion magazines in the business, she is Alicia Burke, as she is known as,,,, his father passed away,,,, his agent is called Haven and he's been with her for almost 10 years now,,,, he was at a meeting in Vegas and he caught the eye of this woman ,,,, and then, by some miracle, she asks him to dance,,,, they had one dance and then she was gone and she never told him her name,,,, and he thinks about her every day,,,,, 

Kari Rodriguez lives in Nevada, she and her ex-husband, Adam, own and operate Changing Places, for kids transitioning out of foster care,,,, they have 2 children Olivia, 5 and Sammy, 3,,,, he was not much of a husband, or a father to his children, and then he met Natalie, 19 and started a relationship with her that he flaunts in Kari's faces all he can,,,, Kari is barely making ends meet and now she has to go meet a celebrity, her best friend Clara watches the kids for her while Kari goes away with Morgan, to Colorado,,,, 

Now, Morgan has met his dream woman,,,, and now he's going to spend as much time with her alone as he can,,,,the snow and the hot tub outside,,,, everything is so new to her, living in Nevada,,they make a snowman and he teaches her how to make snowballs,,,, She really has to watch her step with him,,,, they have to work together,,, but,,,, oh, the things he can do to her,,,,the things she feels that her ex never had,,,, I loved this story,,,,I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,, I'm glad I got to read this one,,,, and I found a new author,,,,!!!

First off this is book three of what I thought was a little collection but I can’t get over little changes, Evan to Tanner in book 2 and now the pig of an husband in this one who in book 2 is called Jeff is now called Adam in this? And let me tell you he is a pig 🐷 a disgusting low life 😂

Morgan’s back story is so sad I tend to avoid books with any mention of sexual abuse especially with children but I think it really did help you understand his reservations when it came to bonding with her kids or thinking about having his own.
Kari is a supermom, she’s struggling financially and her ex husband mentally abuses her even after the divorce I’m so glad she got her happily ever after with Morgan 💕 the road to love is never easy but it’s a journey worth taking 🥰

This book did not fit the title. I liked the story line and the characters. Kari and Morgan's relationship was allowed to develop naturally but moved too quickly for my taste. The story itself was good but a bit unrealistic in some instances. I also found that I had several unanswered questions at the end. This book could have been better but feels rushed.

Good read

I really enjoyed this story. It was sweet and romantic, but I must admit it took a turn into odd territory there at the end like the author wanted to tie it up fast. I would have loved it to be a bit longer, a bit more about how the ex took her being happy and something about his family would have been nice. Also a little more interaction with him and her kids. But all that doesn't stop it from being a good romantic read.

Good read

I love a good romance book as much as the next person BUT would it hurt if everyone once in a while the woman was such a push over. In the case of Kari and Morgan I think she should have let him suffer a little seeing as he thought it was her who have our his "secret" and chewed her out then all he did was say he was sorry and she caved. And it never came out who Adam's source was!

A Not to be Missed Seasonal Read.
This story was lovely to read in one day. I found the main characters, Morgan and Kari to be a delightful couple who saw strength in each other when others just fed off of them in different ways.
This is a good book that I'm recommending for your reading pleasure and enjoyment.

Great Read!

I really enjoyed reading this book! I Loved the chemistry between Kari and Morgan! I also Loved how Morgan put Adam in his place! Well deserved! I think this is a book that EVERYONE will enjoy!
