The Case of the Missing Books is the sixth book in the Summer McCloud Paranormal series by Nikki Broadwell. I have been enjoying Ms. Broadwell’s stories and had decided to read all her books to get ‘up-to-date’ with everything. When this story popped up on my feed, I was immediately intrigued by the title and immediately grabbed a copy. I didn’t realise at the time that tit is the sixth book in the series, but it read well as a standalone, and I didn’t feel like I was missing any

I am guilty of judging a book by its cover and I will freely admit I did just that with this book. I thought it was going to be light and breezy and it was, but I was also pleasantly surprised at the wonderfully deep story that unfolded before me. This is a tale of the supernatural unlike any I have read before with characters that swept me away and a story that kept me flipping the pages. I thought the beautiful mix of the fantastical and the reality of everyday struggles made this story seem ...more

The Case of the Missing Books (Summer McCloud paranormal mystery Book 6) by Nikki Broadwell is a supernatural mystery book that had me hooked from Chapter One. This is the first time I have read this series and the first time I have read anything from this author. I will say it can be read as a standalone but I do plan now to read the rest of the series. Nikki Broadwell gave us an amazing character that you grow to care for and an amazing story line that has the twists and turns that I love. I ...more

5-Stars

The Case Of The Missing Books was an excellent paranormal mystery novel. It features mystery, romance, love, and magic. I could not put this book down. It can also be read as a standalone. Summer is the main character and she runs a small business called Tarot and Tea. She solves mysteries on the side with her husband Jerry. She was an amazing character. She was intelligent, strong,

The Case of Missing Books (Summer McCloud paranormal mystery Book 6) by Nikki Broadwell is an original, intriguing and unique story. I have not read the other books in the series but I enjoyed this book so much so, that I will most definitely be going back and reading them all. That being said I have read other works by Nikki and she is ever the masterful writer and she has cleverly woven this mysterious tale. With its action and adventure, murder and mayhem, magic and paranormal elements, angst ...more

I graduated with a BA in art and English from Sonoma State University in California. I've been an avid reader since I first learned how and a writer from my early teenage years on. I've had several art related businesses, including greeting cards and more recently a silk painting business. When I began to write in earnest I put aside the art, concentrating only on the writing.
