Her one-night stand is about to become her biggest rival.
Everything is falling apart for April Reid. Her latest relationship has self-destructed and the library she runs has been sold to a ruthless corporation that plans to tear it down. All she wants is to forget about her problems. But when she meets Vicki Blake at a bar one night, April finds her problems are only just beginning.
Confident, captivating, and with looks to die for, Vicki has a reputation for her womanizing ways. Although April can see right through the blonde-haired seductress’s smile, she decides to go home with Vicki just this once. And when their one-night stand awakens April’s submissive desires, it leaves them both wanting more.
But April soon discovers that the woman she shared an unforgettable night with is the vice president of the company that wants to demolish her library. Vicki is determined to see the project through. April is determined to stop her. Every time they collide, neither can resist the scorching-hot chemistry between them.
As tension mounts, so do the stakes. Will April and Vicki’s volatile love affair cause everything they’ve both worked for to go up in flames?

My second book by this author and it most likely will also be my last. Not that the writing was bad but it once again was not what I was expecting.
I couldn't connect with either of the main characters. They behaved like women in their (very) early 20's who are still trying to figure out basic things about themselves. While one of them is busy throwing a temper tantrum because she's not getting her way, the other one misses the mark and comes across as arrogant instead of confident.
As for their chemistry, I wasn't feeling it either. For a relatively short book there's a lot of time spent bickering about the future of the library. I just didn't believe they were ready to ride off into the sunset after the short amount of time spent together.
Finally the BDSM aspect. Let's just get it out of the way that this is BDSM lite or diet BDSM; all talk and hardly any action. The amount of kink may be just right for some but I'm used to a hell of a lot more. Overall rating is 2,75*
April: “Why do you have all this?” Vicky: “Because I’m a Domme.” Me: *snorts* sure Jan!
Well this was fun! It totally helped that I had a PERFECT person in mind for the character of Victoria which had me drooling.
I don't believe I had read anything by Ms. Stone before and this was perfect for my mood. I liked the push and pull between the two MCs, one being the director of a library, the other a high falootin' PR person ready to bulldoze said library. Were there holes in these stories? Totally. I would have liked way more backstory on April's front, she could have been deeper and more interesting, though I liked her tenacity. Victoria speaks about her past, and there is a cringe-worthy scene with her asshole parents, but otherwise it's passed over fairly quickly in favour of..... the sex! Yes hot damn, the sex was fucking awesome, some BDSM but nothing very harsh, mixed in with some sweet moments too.
Woo! Thanks for the thrills, Ms. Stone. I'm going to read the rest in the series without super high expectations, just go along for the ride. I suggest you do too.
This is the third book I’ve read by Anna and I LOVED this installment to the series. April is new to the BDSM and the Domme and submissive scene but she embraces it once she gets a taste. I LOVED April. She is what Vicki hates-a bratty sub-but that resonated with me. Vicki is used to getting her way and being submitted to no questions asked so she is thrown a little when April questions everything and doesn’t listen. But after their first night together both women can’t seem to get enough of each other. The idea of them being on opposites sides of the feud I thought it added an extra layer of deliciousness when they continued their affair. Enemies by day and intense lovers at night. Vicki seems tough and cold but she is a smooth talker and is extremely charming which makes April (and I’ll be honest me too) swoon for her even though she didn’t really want to at first. Vicki warms up significantly toward April and became sweet with her which was nice to see. Their romance isn’t conventional or convenient but I loved watching it unfold. I also really enjoyed seeing a bit of Vanessa and Mel to keep them fresh. I plan on reading this again that’s how much I loved it.
Third book by Anna Stone which I’ve read and I must say I enjoyed reading them. In this book, we are introduced to April, who is passionate on keeping the library, and Victoria, high-powered VP of the company that is taking over the building where the library resides. They met at the bar and spent the night together not knowing that they will be at opposite sides, business-wise. Enemy in the boardroom but lovers within the sheets. Some light BDSM scenes - Domme being Vicky and April who is new to ‘dark side’, the submissive. I must say the sex scenes are written well and hot as hell. And their romance, while not sappy or fluffy, is sweet.
Just an okay read for me. April and Vicki were likable enough as main characters, but their romance felt too by-the-numbers—I found myself anticipating every plot beat before it happened, so it was pretty boring by the end.
I think I need to stop dipping into Anna Stone’s earlier works. I love her Club Velvet series, but the books in the Irresistibly Bound series just don’t hit the same. They feel a little underdeveloped by comparison.
I liked this book by Emma Stone. It was an easy and light read. For sure what I needed after starting a slow romance. This romance has elements of BDSM but it’s on the lighter side. It’s an amazon kindle unlimited so if you have it for sure check this out. I rate it 3.5 stars but will round it up on the ratings.
A sexy real estate exec meets a fiery librarian at a club and they begin a relationship that has some steamy moments! The light BDSM encounters in this story are squirm in your seat worthy! The storyline kept me reading, I just had to know if April was able to save the library! I think Anna's storytelling is getting better too!
I think this is my second book by this Author and i must confess i am increasingly impressed by her bdsm characters so much so i find myself thinking perhaps bdsm isn't as alien as I have often perceived.....great work by the Author.
This story is about a mission focused librarian and her surprising Real Estate management rival takeover. In between their tug of war, comes in a road to knowing one another and finding themselves. The BDSM theme is milder than others i have read and perhaps a reason why i thoroughly enjoyed the story.
Yea, OK - never gonna set the world on fire, but a good, adequate story that kept me entertained for a short while. Close to being a short story... Not quite sure about the "irresistibly bound" bits but you pays your money your take your choice.
One of the things I actually like about this book is that I *didn't* see them as becoming a couple right off. After they found out they were on opposite sides on the library location, there was *no* way they could continue. Or, so I thought....
I love how this book changed my mind on that. And, in a "bigger picture" kind of way - whether it was meant that way or not - their getting together (and a scene or two that happened later in the book, which I won't divulge here) spoke against the idea that "someone on the opposite side has to be an enemy." This is also the first BDSM book that made me understand why someone would be interested in it - I mean, I find the books intriguing, but I didn't really get it until now - at least the level of it here.
Vicki being like her father in the one way (at least) - him thinking that she was the way she was just to make him look bad, and her statement to April that she was doing what she was doing just to irritate Vicki - really was a nice touch. (In that it shows that however much we don't want to be like our parents, we are.) And it did it without being heavy-handed.
Vicki and April at times were both shits to each other - which is unfortunate, of course. But they seemed to understand and switch gears - without just making a quick and meaningless apology.
A lot packed in here. I loved it. Can't wait for more from this author!
Second book in the series. Follows Vicki who we meet in Being Hers who at the time was not who she wanted to be.
April the director of a Library she is trying to save goes home with an irresistible woman the night before her meeting with corporation that is trying to tear her library down. What happens when the woman you were with happens to be the one who is in charge of the project.
Vicki just wants to proof that she never needed her parents that she is more then who she sleeps with. Then she meets April in a bar and takes her home and opens the doors to so many possibilities with April interested in being a submissive to her Dom.
At opposite ends of the same battle can they move past the work stuff and create something magical in their personal life's or does it get to be a tangled mess and they fall apart.
You know you want to read and find out! Well what are you waiting for??

I'm a huge fan of this series! Anna gives us a strong storyline along with well developed characters. Per usual it's not just about romantic or BDSM relationship. She takes you on a journey along with April and Vicki. The meetcue is insane. What is supposed to be a one night thing turns into so much more. What do you do when you find the person that feeds your mind, body and soul? Would you recognize it and accept it? April tends to get in her own way when it comes to matters of the heart. I found that I really liked Vicki even though she was supposed to come off as a jerk at times. I didn't really see her like that. I found I was angrier at April and her actions or her lack of actions. These two are fire together and I wish that their story could go on forever. Definitely recommend reading this book. Also, read Being Hers if you haven't already.
This is the second book I have read by the author, and I can say I will definitely purchasing more of her books as I love her writing style and how she manages to keep my attention.
Now on to the book review. I loved the book, and I loved how completely different April and Vikki are/ I feel as if that is what made their relationship more interesting.
Plus, don't let me start on how cute that ending was!
Anna Stone really knows how to make an amazing wlw book.
I won't lie; Vanessa is still my favourite love interest from the series.
I tried my hardest and I couldn’t connect with April. It fell very flat I kept trying to push through the story and I just wasn’t enjoying it. Too much of April being confrontational and at odds with Vicki, gets old pretty fast.
Am in that position when you just want to read something light and bonus steamy scenes but then i cant connect with anything in this book ,characters, pots, chemistry ,just flat
April is trying to save her library from a developer, Vicki is head of the project for the developer. When meeting as strangers at a club, April goes home with Vicki. Then April and the staff of the library have a meeting with the head of the project and it's Vicki! This is an enemies to lovers/HOT/ lite BDSM love story!
Der spice 🌶️ ist toll. Es ist etwas aufklärend und vorallem sehr gut consent thematisiert. Story ist nicht wirklich fesselnd. Würde es jedem empfehlen, der einfach nh gute lesbian spice Story lesen will :)
I don't always give out 5-star ratings for books, but when I do, They're damn good books.
This had everything you could want in a book like this. It has some funny moments, it has some tense moments, it has some cool, interesting characters with even more interesting backstories, but most importantly (for me) the BDSM was there, but it wasn't too heavy, and although it was there in almost every scene in some way, it wasn't overly oppressive in nature nor did it take anything away from the characters developing feelings for each other. Overall, a great read. Highly recommended. This is, of course, a part of a series, but they are not connected directly to each other so you could read the first two out of order like I did.
Another great read from Anna Stone! Librarian April meets developer Vicky and their chemistry is palpable from the start. I really liked how their domme/submissive relationship plays out -building slowly as April becomes more comfortable and more into the idea of being a sub. The only quibble I had is I wish the physical d/s aspect would have been highlighted more, but enjoyed immensely her emotional acceptance. A bonus was seeing Vanessa and Mel from her previous story! All in all, a wonderful addition to this series! I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
April’s haven was the library where she worked. Now its threatened by a developer. Faces with the battle for her library and her community, she realizes the problem is bigger than she thought when the women of her dreams is the VP overseeing the development. Sparks fly and passion and fury become the center of her days. Fiery relationship and romance in a great series Recommend.
I've been waiting for the next book in this series and it did not disappoint. Anna Stone does a great job of making her stories equally sexy and romantic, and her characters are always fleshed out well. I love her descriptions of the inner workings of the BDSM lifestyle and how it's much more about trust and control than anything else. It's intimate and intoxicating, if I'm being honest. I can't wait for the next book!
What a truly delightful tale of the relatively complex relationship between submissive April, a library director, and Vicki, a dominant corporate executive! The F/F interplay is quite interesting and the BDSM scenarios will certainly get you, and keep you, hot and very, very wet:) XOXOXOs to the author, Anna Stone, for creating this wonderful erotic adventure. Read this book now. You will certainly not be disappointed.
Another excellent work of art!!! This series truly is mesmerizing and beautiful and everything I love. This book was slightly different as one of the characters wasn’t as submissive as the others from the other books, but I loved it! April is actually my fave so far, i love how she pushes Vicki too and teases her. Loved to see them bickering, it was very entertaining and sweet and one can see how much they love each other. Simply amazing! 5 stars out of 5 stars.
Love the theme of the story, mainly because I love libraries. Glad Vickie was able to help April keep her love for the library. A different building but with more opportunities to provide the community many more activities.
Well describes characters, well written and very personable. Sure I recommend it.

Okay I cannot deny how reeled in this series has me it is so SPICYYY. I loved vanessa and mel's cameo in this book and the story line was just so cute. You want April and Victoria to hate each other but you also can't deny their chemistry. Also love that April is a librarian that part of the story is so cute as well. AND THE LAST SCENE DEFINITELY CATAPULTED THIS BOOK FROM 3-4.
