This book is such a sweet, fun, and all around enjoyable read. It's a quick easy read, a charming little love story of crazy coincidence that makes all the difference. This was a great stand-alone novel, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want more. The love scenes were cut abruptly and the hero found it so difficult to stop obsessing over his ex. I liked the author's writing here: simple but still filled with meaning. I'll be eager to read her next contemporary novel in the series Mr. March an ...more

When Katie comes back into the bar and it's emptied out, she meets the bartender and immediately dubs the drunk guy "dreamboat". Poor Jackson has a broken heart from his fiancée cheating on him with his friend, but when he meets the gorgeous woman at his bar, and she helps him up to his apartment and stays to make sure he doesn't choke on his own vomit, he knows he has to get her into his bed. Luckily for him, she's more than down for a fun morning, so their ons turns into a oms instead.

This is another fun filled story with lovable characters. Jackson and Katie make you wish for a HEA. They meet at the bar/restaurant the Jackson owns. It is after hours and he is falling down drunk. Katie helps him. They have a one morning stand. Months later they meet up again when Katie has to plan her best friends wedding. They become friends with no benefits. He is still hung up over his ex. The friendship develops into something more, except Jackson is slow to realize what's happening. The ...more

🌟⭐💫 Mr February – so much to love and laugh about! 💫⭐🌟

There is so much to laugh out loud about in this book, right from the first chapter! I love reading in the kiwi vernacular because it’s like laughing and talking with friends, and I wish I could tell you about my favourite scene. Unfortunately, it involves spoilers, so let me just say that Katie offers to rough someone up. When you get there, you’ll know what I’m talking about!!! I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve offered to do the sam

Mr February (Calendar Boys #2) - Nicole S Goodin.

Nicole Goodin is turning me into a seriously hopeless addict of this series.

Mr February introduces us to Jackson Matthews. One hunk of a hottie bar owner but a man who’s had his heart ripped out by a witch called Lizzie, his ex-fiancé.

On a drunken bender, he’s meets Katie North, wedding planner and devout singleton. Katie’s a fixer and when the drunk at the bar tries to sweet talk her, she feels a need to rescue the poor sucker and takes him

Nicole Goodin's Mr. February is a cute romance about what happens when you find love when you aren't looking. You'd think wedding planner Katie has love at her fingertips. Motivated, funny, always the bridesmaid this girl is seriously lacking when it comes to men. It isn't until bar owner Jackson gets a little too tipsy that love finds her way, except he is all hung up on his ex. Can these two friends find love after all?

Jackson is drowning himself in booze at his bar because of the betrayal by his exfiancé and his best friend. Katie gets left behind by her bar hopping bestie when she takes a phone call. Katie can’t leave the drunk stranger by himself in case he gets sick. One round of hot morning after sex and she walks away. A surprise meeting puts them back together. Can Jackson convince her to be his friend and if there are benefits all that much better.

I loved this book from the beginning, I had a hard time putting it down. Jackson and Katie’s friendship is something that doesn’t happen every day but when it does it’s beautiful to watch or in this case read. I didn’t want it to end and I hope in the future there will be more about this couple... After the calendar is out of course! And if you haven’t read Mr January that one is definitely a must as well.

I’m a fan! I took a chance on a new to me author again because I couldn’t help myself and now I can’t wait to go see what else she has for me to read!!!

At the beginning I was really worried because it sounded a bit typical man gets heartbroken and falls for a cute woman.... it was different and cute and I absolutely adored Katie!!! I could tell from the beginning I was going to be a big fan of hers and what she did for Jackson each and every time made me swoon for her!! I don’t typically swoon

I am enjoying the Calendar Boys series by Nicole S. Goodin. In Mr. February, the second book in the series, we get a story about a one-night that could just maybe be more. Jackson Matthews is heartbroken and definitely staying away from relationships. Katie North wanted to help Jackson the night they met and never imagined seeing him again.

When they do see each other again, they can’t ignore their chemistry, but Jackson does not want more than a friend with benefits relationship, but c

Mr February is the second in this "Calendar" series from Nicole S. Goodin and it was just an absolute riot to read, I loved it from beginning to end. Katie the event planner meets super drunk Jackson the bar owner alone and drowning his sorrows in a bottle of bourbon, after his fiancee runs off with his best friend

Katie helps him to bed and stays with him all night to make sure he is ok, even cleaning up his bucket after he vomits. Next morning they part ways after a passionate romp and though b

Mr. February was such a fun read! Mr. January was so good that I was worried Mr. February would pale in comparison, but this was another great book. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Katie is one independent, sassy lady as well as an amazing friend. I liked her immediately. Jackson really tugged at my heartstrings. I wanted to hug him and tell him everything would get better. The chemistry between them is instant and palpable!

The plot reminded me of a favorite movie of mine, “Leap Year,” b

What a feel good factor book this is. It's full of humour and written so well. Jackson was a heartbroken bar owner, after a 5 year relationship 2 of which they were engaged she broke it off as she was having an affair with his friend. One night after he had sent everyone home Katie had been in the bathroom, when she came out she was faced with a very drunk Jackson. She did the right thing and took him upstairs to his apartment and put him to bed. She stayed all night clearing up his vomit and ma ...more

A Great Read!!
Jackson the bar owner /broken hearted jilted fiance and Katie the wedding planner/caregiver to hot drunk guys. When Katie encounters Jackson he is lamenting the loss of his fiance to none other than his "best friend" he is so smashed he cant stand up on his own. She having almost lost her brother when he had a few too many and choked on his vomit in his sleep cannot in good conscience leave him alone to a similar fate. She stays the night and nurses him through and the next morning

I am seriously loving the Calendar Boys series so far! These books really showcase how far Nicole has come and how amazing her storytelling is!

Mr Feb introduces us to Katie and Jackson.
Jackson is completely heartbroken, scorned and betrayed by his fiancé and bestie.
Katie is accidentally locked in the bar and deserted by her friends, so she helps Jackson to his apartment above the bar.
From there they develop a mutual attraction and budding friendship.

I found Katie and Jackson to be hilarious, the

Book 2 in the Calendar Boys series was a really good read - even if I still loved Mr January more.....

Jackson Matthews was a heartbroken bar owner who was 'rescued' from himself one night by Katie North. These two were excellent together, even if they did have polar views on relationships...

The friendship that they built was fab and they were so well suited. I took my hat off to Katie for her patience and belief in her new BFF and her determination to not settle for anything less than the rela

This book sets off a different vibe then the first book but it was no less enjoyable. Jackson and Katie have great compatibility and the only thing getting in their way is time. And by that I mean it’s just not the right time to start a relationship that is deeper then friendship for a while. ONS not withstanding it takes these two a good amount of time before they expand their relationship from friendship. As evidence by Jackson’s drinking problem and the fact he hasn’t gotten past his ex fianc ...more

This second instalment of the Calendar Boys introduces us to bar owner Jackson Matthews, a hunk nursing a broken heart with a not-so-healthy intake of alcohol when the pain gets too much. Katie is a wedding planner who tells it like it is and doesn't let her growing feelings get in the way of her new friendship with Jackson. After all, her feeling are hers and he's not over his ex yet. But he makes an awesome friend. Especially since her best friend has turned into Bridezilla...

Well hello there, Mr February! I absolutely loved this story! I can see this Calendar Boys series becoming a fast favourite of mine!

Enter Katie - the wedding planner who has a soft spot for people in need. When she's deserted in a bar with a very drunk Jackson, she does the only thing that makes sense - she looks after him.

Beautiful story with low angst, friends to lovers and the author is showing how much a friend means to those who are experiencing hard times in life such as alcohol issues and the betrayal of ex-fiances, how one is not ready to give up everything when they invested so much in that life but have to overcome all this so they can see a future and build another life with real feelings and learn to trust again. I am intrigued by the side characters and looking forward to the new books and lo

I actually adored this book. Although I do believe the hero in the book had a serious drinking problem. Lol! Who doesn't? Women drink lots of wine. I feel like it's a stigma in society. However, I will say that this story was heartwarming and creepy. Creepy because the hero practically stalks the heroine and is extremely stubborn and blind. I also felt like heroine was a bit nieve. She kept going back for more though! Must have been th

This book is fantastic and brilliantly written. It is a fast pace page-turner; with an interesting storyline that will have you rooting for Jackson and Katie; they are well developed, broken, scarred, and complex. The plot is riveting, consistent, emotionally deep, and heart-wrenchingly beautiful. The author takes us on a roller coaster of emotions; a ride of intense drama, humour, and witty banter. The story wrapped up quite nicely and I was very pleased with the ending. This book is A MUST REA ...more

Jackson is tanking his sorrows.
He just found out his buddy and his fiancée (as of last week now his ex) are together and he’s been dumped.

Katie stays with him that night because of his intake. There was puke involved. She’s kind and responsible.

In the morning they hit it hard but Katie leaves.

Four months later, Katie walks into his restaurant to book it for a wedding in 12 weeks.

Jackson really is a dreamboat, despite meeting Katie under less than optimal circumstances.

The second book in the Calendar Boys series was witty, feisty, romantic and sizzling hot. Jackson is broken hearted and Katie is a woman with a huge heart. These two characters will have you wrapped around their fingers in no time at all as they make you laugh, frustrate you and have you swooning. Mr February is way too good for just one month, especially being that it is the smallest month of the year, personally I would keep him up all year round. I so enjoyed reading this book. It was a lot of fun and I found myself laughing at a lot of the scenes in the story. I loved the characters and was rooting for their HEA. I was frustrated at times though. I felt they could get a little hung up. However, that being said, I absolutely adored them and loved seeing them together and seeing their progression. This was a sweet story and I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this series and this author.
