Black Veils: The Vampire Lexicon

Rate this book
Black Veils, or “The Vampire Lexicon,” is dedicated to furthering and defining the Vampire Culture. Written to inspire and challenge the reader through a lexicon of words of power from the vampire mythos, each Veil promotes personal evolution and embraces the Vampire Spirit with some examples including Dragon, Immortality, Primal, Romance, Mystery, Transhumanism, Music, Culture, Glamour, Elegance, Courtesy, Chivalry, Magick and Sensuality. Each Veil is beautifully presented by French conceptual artist William Vocant, with an enticingly written forward by Rosemary Ellen Guiley, author of “Vampires Among Us.”What makes this book unique and a must-read is that it was written from over two decades of close interaction between Father Sebastiaan and his fang clients. Originally, the Black Veils were the original “code of conduct” of the New York City vampire club Long Black Veil (1997-2000). Since then, they have evolved into the greatest influences on Vampire Culture.
