Each epic adventure features a brand-new villain from the hit Netflix TV series.

Miss 5 has been a major fan of all things Captain Underpants for the last two years but she didn't like this at all and asked not to finish it. It's not written or drawn by Dav Pilkey (but based on the tv series) which may have something to do with it.
Miss 5 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
George and Harold's Epic Comix Collection Vol. 1 is a fun and entertaining graphic novel that collects several comic strips from the animated series "The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants". The book is filled with silly humor, colorful illustrations, and wacky storylines, making it a great choice for young readers who enjoy irreverent and humorous stories. However, some readers may find the humor to be too juvenile or the stories to be lacking in depth. Overall, I would give George and Harold's Epic Comix Collection Vol. 1 a rating of 4 out of 5 stars, and recommend it for fans of the Captain Underpants franchise or young readers who enjoy funny and engaging graphic novels.
If you enjoyed Captain Underpants comics from the books, you'll going to want more of these! This book is a compilation of George and Harold's Captain Underpants comic stories they've made from the TV series adaptation on Netflix. It features some of Captain Underpants' action-packed adventures from the first two seasons that will make you laff out loud.
I was one of the people who doesn't understand what the narrator says during the comic book segment in the TV series because it's so fast forward to hear, but luckily this book really helps me know what's going on!
I actually really enjoyed this. It would get a five-star rating except that it is just a recycling of the comics used in the TV series to make a book. Still, I haven't seen much of the TV series and found these to be hilarious and unexpected. Each comic is short, but never dull. Makes me interested to check out the TV series (which is no doubt part of the reason these were published).
It was ok. I’m not sure if dav pilkey has much influence on the Netflix show but it’s definitely different.
A buncha short stories from the show, not much to say. I much prefer dog man as it’s funnier, but these stories weren’t meant to be read like this, they were just a portion of the show.

Fans of Captain Underpants, Andy Griffith's books (Zombie Butts from Uranus) and Walter the Farting dog books will like this series (do you detect the theme?)
The book was great I loved it. All the little drawings were great and good (it actually looks like a boy drew them.) Thare were more than enough comics in there! This book is a great one you should buy it is Really Good!! Wow 😯 I insist!!!!!
This book was good when I was young but know when I read it over and over again, it seems to get very boring fast, it is good for those young maybe 8-year-old readers, but not the same for me now. But it is still a very good book, that is why I gave five stars.
