Shanna knows how to write her cowboys!
Return to Abundance, the second book in The Abundance series, was just as good as the first book!
This time on our trip back to Abundance, TX we run into the trouble Nathan “Nate” Butler. He is a shell of man since after the tragedy that happened to his family (read the first book to get a look into what that may be😉).
He wasn’t expecting the sexy, strong and sassy Jordan to come into his life and get under his skin!
Does she have what it takes to bring back

Shana did a wonderful job at continuing the series. The intensity grips you, the love makes you daydream, the childish giggles lifts up your heart, the trials break your heart, but then the love heals it back again. A roller coaster of emotions, and some. I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style, it's easy to follow, and you feel the frustrations of the characters. I look forward to reading more from this author. ...more

I took a return trip to Abundance, TX in an ARC of Return to Abundance, the second standalone book in the Abundance series written by Shanna Swenson, and was not disappointed in my visit. Shanna has written another amazing story with the characters we first met in Abundance: An endearing romance novel. The MC’s Nate and Jordan, whom we previously and briefly met in the first book, pull at every heartstring you have as they both battle their demons while trying to find a way to love not only each ...more

What can I say? I loved this one even more than the first one!

Nate and Jordan are both troubled souls. Nate is battling his demons from killing killing a man, even though it was in self-defense. He's shut the world out and is sinking fast. Jordan has her own secrets and is constantly dealing with her tattered reputation. When Jordan quits her job to go and work at Nate's family ranch, sparks begin to fly.

My heart was really aching for both Nate and Jordan. Swenson did an incredible job making m

Welcome back to Abundance!

If you loved the first Abundance book, then the return will be even better. Natalie's brother, Nathan, is struggling in the wake of the previous drama. Jordan, Natalie's best friend, is determined to save him from darkness. Cue a delightful tale of romance!

This is a bit of a Beauty and the Beast retelling, which I loved. Nate and Jordan are relatable, often funny, and painfully human as they learn to love each other and themselves. I loved this story and can't wait for

I just fell in love

If you love broken assholes, this book is for you. I madly fell in love with Nate. I laughed, I cried, I got frustrated, but I loved it. Shanna’s writing is on point and the characters well developed. As for the story, hold on to your horse because it’s going to be a little wild, and a lot sexy!

Nathan Butler would do anything to keep his family safe. But he is really struggling with a decision that he had to make. Jordan is Natalie’s best friend, she wants to help Nathan get through this dark time in his life. Let the fireworks begin! Shanna turned up the heat! Their relationship is flirtatious, spicy, and super steamy! Book two was fabulous!

Shanna Swenson brings us back to the colorful characters and deep feels of small town Abundance in Return to Abundance. Nathan Butler struggles with his past, a past that threatens to throttle his future unless Jordan Tate can help him. As always, Swenson’s writing is realistic and moving. I enjoyed the gripping tensions between Nathan and Jordan and hope to see more of the denizens of Abundance down the road! This one’s perfect for any romance lovers out there!

A man struggling to come to terms with his past and the woman who vows to save him from himself makes for a heartwarming, bittersweet read by Author Shanna Swenson in the second story set in the town of Abundance, Texas. Nathan Butler has an attitude that drives most people away--bitter, sarcastic, filled with an anger he tries to contain. He's built up a wall of emotions around him dealing with a guilt that is all consuming, can anyone break through to him?

Enter Jordan Tate, best friend of Nath

Ah the angst! Both main characters in this book were so beautifully broken. Right away I felt invested in their journey. Nate is an alpha hero set on mode self destruct, but Jordan Tate is just the woman to pick up the pieces and help put this soul tormented cowboy back together again. Resist though he might, (and he does) Nate can’t help but fall victim to Jordan’s charms and into her loving arms. She has an endurance and loyalty that is admirable and it doesn’t take long to figure out that she ...more

This was such a fun sequel! It explored new characters while providing peeks back into the lives of Natalie and Jack Kinsen. I really liked having the story pick back up with Nathan since he had such a critical role in the conclusion of Abundance. Murder, even in self-defense, can have a profound impact on an individual, and Shanna Swenson did a wonderful job exploring the depths of Nathan’s guilt and emotional pain. He doesn’t face his pain head-on – no, he turns to drinking (to numb the pain) ...more

WOW! WOW! WOW! This book IS fantastic. I couldn't put it down! Fans of Nora Roberts WILL LOVE THIS SERIES!

Ms. Shanna Swenson has done it again with her next installment of the "Abundance" series. I was given book one as a gift, and after reading it, I purchased the second. I will now purchase the entire series, and probably be gifting them to everyone I know! The story keeps getting better, and I can't get enough of Abundance and the Butler/Kinsen family!

"Return to Abundance" has it all... humor

Return to Abundance was everything I hoped for in my return to this wonderful series. All of my favorite characters from Abundance made appearances and new faces became favorites. When I wasn't clenching my fist to punch Nate, I was rooting for him to find his peace. You most certainly will find a love/hate relationship with him as well.

Jordan Tate is a spitfire and the perfect woman to bring a spiraling Nathan Butler out of the lonely pits of his guilt. For as tough as Jordan appears, Nate scr

I loved this book from the very beginning! Return to Abundance has just the right combination of strong yet broken main characters. Nate and Jordan are both alphas and their fiery personalities join to create a beautifully passionate flame. Each main character is far from perfect and they are damaged in their own individual way, yet they are perfectly broken for each other. Like individual puzzle pieces that are jagged and give no clue as to the overall picture, Nate and Jordan come together to ...more
