I thought this is a really good book for young readers who are learning about the thanksgiving holiday. The book explains the history and traditions in a way that is easy for kids to understand. I also liked the illustrations and how the information was presented clearly, which make it great read aloud for an elementary classroom.

Morey's Thanksgiving Day is a very small holiday song/poem book of a Thanksgiving celebration and is not what quite I expected. It would be good to use for home school purposes with pre-school children.
