Just hilarious!

You buy a book. You think about giving it to somebody as a present- that's what these books are for, after all- but for one reason or another, it never gets wrapped and it disappears for several months. You find it one day, and you flip through it, laughing a little. You stick it on your bookshelf. Over time, you get other books, and knick-knacks, and you put a few photos up on the shelf. The book gets pushed back and back, until it falls off the shelf. One day you move house. A friend finds the book behind the shelf, dusty and cobwebbed. The pick it up, flip through it, and laugh. You tell them to take it home with them. They put it on their bookshelf, and the cycle begins anew.

This is that book.
