CHRISTMAS CHEER FOR THE GROUCHY LADYBUG talks about everything exciting Christmas has to offer. There's snowflakes, fires, bells, presents, stockings, and so much more! In the background, there's a grouchy ladybug, but not even it is immune to the joy of Christmas. Christmas can cheer up "Even those grouchier than the rest".

Eric Carle does it again with his classic illustrations and simple wording for children. The only thing I wish is that there was a little bit more of the ladybug in the plot.

The Grouchy Ladybug celebrates Christmas.

This book describes the spirit of Christmas whose good cheer brings out the best in even the Grouchy Ladybug. It is more style than substance, filled with holiday-themed artwork done in Eric Carle's beautiful, tissue paper, collage style.

Rhyming text describes lots of the fun things about Christmas. Classic Eric Carle illustrations and a very simple secular focus on Christmas being about joy. A good toddler read aloud.

Cute book for the Christmas holiday. It was easy to read for beginners and short enough for those who can't sit still.

The grouchiest ladybug is also the scroogiest in this cute Christmas picture book from Eric Carle.

Explores what Christmas means to many, including joy, snowflakes, fires, bells ringing, people singing and presents under the tree. It goes on to show that these things inspire the spreading of holiday cheer, even to the grouchy ladybug. Very cute with Carle’s signature illustrations.
