I've always been a huge Adele Geras fan so I thoroughly enjoyed this work. The short stories were very well presented in each chapter, making the characters very easy to sympathize with. There are some stories where I wish the author had continue to develop the plot into a novel just so I would be able to receive a sense of conclusion from reading. Also, most of the stories were a lot more realistic than I had anticipated, which (thank goodness), doesn't make the stories too cheesy.
