This is a wonderful 'new adult' realistic romance. So refreshing to have kind, respectful, witty and funny male and female leads in Avery and Angela. Enjoyed seeing them move forward in their relationship and Avery's musical career path despite serious challenges. Definitely recommend it. I received an advance review copy of this book, with no obligation to the author. I read this book for my PopSugar 2019 prompt: book written by a musician.

A native of New Jersey. Robert Kugler retired from education in order to become a stay-at-home dad. Following his years as a teacher and school administrator, it is not surprising his first novel focuses on the lives and perspectives of young people.

Spending his formative years in South Jersey, Wildwood in particular, has provided a unique perspective on the real New Jersey Shore, not to mention a
