Not Even In My Wildest Dreams...

While I am aware that this book, like all good things, must come to an end, I am not ready. I love this family. Gio is truly a marvel. He’s a thinker. Always thinking, always working. Bella is his peace. It was good to see them in this light. Happy endings came to those who truly deserved them. So much growth in this book. Sienna Mynx is a marvel, truly a gifted storyteller.

Mixed Emotions....

As much as I dislike Lorenzo's horrible behavior, I'm really sad about his childhood. How could he be anything but a basket case. And Giovanni remains a master manipulator. Little Eve acting out is no surprise and how in the world did Maribella think she could keep her young American cousin that is trouble incarnate when she can barely manage what she already has around her to deal with? Nonetheless, in this series Giovanni is my favorite (crazy as he is) and Maribella remains my least favorite character. I'm glad to see all of the characters maintain their identity and that helps the books to transition seamlessly. I'm patiently waiting for the next book.

There are no words! Every bit of what was promised and more story left to come and weave it's spell on us- it was just that good! If you have been a fan and following this family like it is your own and you have been moved to tears by the love, hate, lies, betrayal and connections - you must stay on the roller coaster-this book shows how love is the light to hates darkness but it is all interwoven and that we are all human and do weird and mean things in the name of love a lot more than any of us will admit to- one more book is left and I welcome it while mourning the finale to the love story, family and series. Well done Sienna Mynx it has been so worth the wait!

I've read every single one of this series, and the best part is Carlo and Shae.

Even that I was wasn't sure would happen. Gio has turned into a tyrant, Mirabella into a stepford wife, and Eve into a brat. lol and Marietta should be dead. What troubles me most is how badly edited this book is.Mari is talking but in the middle Mira is named as the speaker. So man miss-spellings and missing words ticked me off.

Wow!

What a ride! I really like Giovanni and Mirabella, but lawd, they make me tired. They have so much on their shoulders! But Mirabella is really the perfect partner for Gio, and really knows how to handle him. I knew that something bad was going to happen with Eve and the fire, and found it interesting how it was referenced in this book, but not explained. Kudos to the author on how well this was done.

Lorenzo and Marietta always leave me feeling so conflicted. On the one hand, they’ve both endured so much and I want them to find happiness, but on the other hand, so much of what happens to them is all on them. Talk about being your own worst enemy. Really curious to see how their stories play out.

I’m definitely Team Domi/Catalina, and never would have imagined this journey for them when we met them in Book 1. But they both had some growing up to do, and Catalina especially needed to face some challenges without Domi and Gio coming to her rescue. And Domi needed to get his control issues under control. Can’t wait to see how their story unfolds.

The Adara/Carlo/Shae storyline was the one I was most interested in. I love Carlo and really want him to get his happily ever after. With Shae. These two are absolutely perfect for each other and I’m hoping that the way that we leave them in this book is the shape of things to come.

So why only 3 stars? The author weaves a really good tale, but the poor editing frustrates me to no end and takes away from the story. Please, please, please get a good editor.

Wow so Catilina and Zia was forgiving but not Lorenzo Really

I wish I could give this book 5 or 4 stars not 👎. How could they be so cruel to Lo but not to Catilina she murder her own cousin and there was no justice or banishment really??? And to treat your own sister the way she did mirabella was straight cruel to her own twin I just couldn't with her, I have never liked her she was too weak and she was just as crazy as her sister but the author chose to make Marietta the craziest again Really. Lorenzo and Marietta truly got the short end with is and how they ignored the kids except the new baby no wonder Eve snapped.. This book was truly sad... I understand some punishment had to take place but they just wasn't fair on all point to forgive Zia and Catilina I'm just lost and to Kill Armando off like What???

A true test of Omerta!

OMG!! These two, Omerta 1 & 2 were definitely worth the wait! Sienna Mynx wrote her butt off with these! Giovanni and Mirabelle are more connected than ever. A love that seems to be bulletproof! With everything going on, it seems that Carlo and his demons are the catalyst of everything that happened; especially in Book 1. Lorenzo and Marietta are tested beyond measure. The lies and secrets of Rocco and Zia have made a bad situation worse!
Looking forward to Vita Mia!

Magnificently closure and new beginnings...

Because I am a fan of mafia movies and stories in general, it was just what I anticipated and expected in Mafia story but more. What I mean by more is the emotional attachment or how vested we become invested in their survival, success, and failures. These are things that makes a book not good but great. I can quote her books just like the Godfather series. I think death and growth are good things---we may not like it but it the life cycle is it not? Magnifico!

Well as we get to the close the series there is a lot happening and a lot to take in. However, I still waiting the fate of Lorenzo and Marietta. I found it really distressing that Gio was not able to find a way to fix things with them. Banish them even. This couple are still suffering.

I was happy for Carlo and Shae and it was about time.

I have totally gone of Gio and Mia. I really cannot relate to them much anymore. I will just have to wait and see what the final outcome of the series is.

Sienna did it again!

What a well written story! I loved every bit of it. This entire series could be well done as a TV series. A movie would not do it justice. I was so happy for Shae and Carlo. They finally get the family they both needed and wanted. It was a very bumpy ride for the both of them. I felt sorry for Carlo how he slipped into his hell hole and let his demons ride him.

Speaking of demons, both Marietta and Lorenzo are demons incarnate. They were so eaten up with their selfish jealousy they could not think straight. If Zia have not supported Rocco's lie, none of this would have happened. She has to come into acceptance of her own part in the lie. I can understand the pain of a mother losing her only child, but to see how Lo was treated as a child and doing nothing is almost unforgivable.

Even though Catalina hurt him deeply, Domi seems to have come to terms with her marriage to Armando. I thought it was fitting for him to be present to help deliver the baby. He immediately went into father protector mode. I think Catalina and Domi will be okay.

I just love Gio's love for his Bella and her love for him. She went into this marriage knowing exactly who he was and loved him anyway. It amazes me how this big bad tough Godfather and Capi di tutti capu just melts for his Donna Nera and their children. It shows another side to the ruthless Don. All of the men have their weaknesses for their women! It show they are human and do have hearts.

I can't wait for Vita Mia to be published. I have so many questions. Poor little Eve is strictly a Daddy's girl and Gio is spending a lot of time with business. Eve did not handle that well, nor is she handling the disappearance of people she loved. She is not handling the appearance to these new babies that have come into their family to compete for her parent's attention. I want to know the details of what happened with the fire and how it affected everyone.

What will happen after the two years are up? Will Lorenzo be forgiving when he finds out what happened to Marietta and Lola? How will Marietta fair in her new place? Will she escape? Will the Generale's charges stick? What will happen to Gio and Maribella over twenty years? I can't wait. I hope it does not take too long! Congratulations Sienna on writing an excellent saga.

Engaging!!!!

We are almost at the end of the day Battaglia saga and it's bitter sweet for me. Even though I want to read the conclusion, I'll always want more. Thanks for this epic series, it doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend this series.

I held my breath multiple times in this story.
Three people I dislike in this story are Lo, Marietta and Shae. Shae
Shae was trash from go. Marietta is a conniving, evil twat and I had hoped she'd be eliminated.
I don't always like Gio or Mira but I like their chemistry and how they approach the obstacles they will inevitably face.

Amazing! I really appreciate this author for giving us this series. I mean the plot twists that occur in Omertà Book 2 are just nothing short of breathtaking! Ms. Mynx does a Q&A at the end of the book and answers some really important questions about the plot and her plans for the end of the series. Unfortunately, this book is the penultimate one. I really don’t want it to end!

Off the Chain!

This book is off the chain. I loved every minute of it. If Vita Mia is half of this book it's going to be beyond great! The Omerta books were worth every wait! Thank you Syenna and the best is yet to come.

I dove into this book after reading Omerta: Part 1, I was anxious to find out what happened to everyone. I wish Belinda could've stayed around a bit longer-Leo deserves a slice of happiness in all the crazy the family bring forth. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I feel sympathy for Marie or if she just needs to stay in the asylum. I'm not surprised the General turned on her- he's police and she's well HER! And connected-not a total black sheep but on her way of being there.

I'm so glad Carlo got a do over and he and Shea can be together and raise this family they've created. As much as I liked Adara, I knew she couldn't stay long because why bring Shea back in the last 2 books before everything is over. (Still can't believe there's just 1 more book.)

I'm trying to debate if Lo is love/hate character or just a character to you either love or hate or feel his pain. He's one of my favorite characters.
Mirabella this book felt like she was performing on a grand stage. I'm glad this is her last baby because she has more than enough kids to handle. I'm starting to like her less and less...Donna or not. She shined in the other books but this one felt like her flame was going.
Poor Eve just wanted the attention of her parents-the fire will hopefully be explained in Vita Mia. I can't wait to read more about the twins and if Lorenza will find her mother or how that will all play out.

The only thing that bothered me was the edits! I was into this book that when it switched character I had to go back and re-read which character was actually supposed to be in the scene. Edits, proofreading are so important. The other books in edits and proofreading seems so flawless but this one has some major edits that are a distraction.

I'm still happy

This book was another awesome book in the Battaglia saga of murder, lies, betrayal, heartache and finding love again! With all the characters she tied up a lot of loose ends answered questions that needed answered. I am very happy how the book read and how it ended. I can't wait for the finale! Sienna has put her heart and soul into this series and each book shows off her talents. She can write a scene that play out like mini movies in your mind.

I waited to review this book since it was a part one and part two. This is, of course, two separate books and should be rated and reviewed separately, but to be honest the bare minimum of progress happened in part one. Omerta one just seemed to be the clean up to the mistakes Giovanni felt Mirabella made in Bella Mafia.

Ugh.

I find Giovanni an overbearing, controlling grade A-hole even more than the other books. I don't know if this was Ms. Mynx's intentions, but his personality was harder to swallow in these two books than I have ever read. I know that he's a man in charge, but to express being dominate by being an asshole for two books, is unnecessary.

Mirabella's drastic change from being a woman in charge to being the meek and mild mannered, tamed housewife, turned me off. She just seemed to give up on being that determined business woman that was so admired in the beginning of the series to a complacent bore that believed her often absent husband would have all the answers.

Loose ends come to a close for most by the end of the second, which seemed rushed and filled by a bunch of damn babies. Just about every female in this series decided to have a baby in Omerta.

Don't have enough plot? Let's pop out babies!

One of the very few good things that came out of this book is my change in opinion of Carlo. Hands down he is one of my favorite characters now. And even Shae surprised me. The growth in her character and the complexity between her and Carlo's relationship was refreshing. I often couldn't wait to read more about them than Giovanni and Mirabella's.

This series is long running, but it's starting to become similar to shows that just have reached it's limit and need to settle down. The story is now convoluted with so many plots, sub plots, and point-of-views, that it tends to make the story drawn out and full of filler. It took me longer than necessary to read the first part to Omerta ( 2 months) because I had a very fine understanding to where anything was going and I just wasn't interested.

Still anticipating the last book to finally wrap a pretty bow on a long running series that kept my attention just as long as Harry Potter did.

Glad I waited

I'm so glad I waited and read this book slowly. Now I can read the finale. I hate for this story to end because I love this family. I wanted Lorenzo punished but didn't want him dead. I wasn't a huge fan of Shae and Carlo but I am now. I actually liked him better with Adara but after I found out Shae was pregnant I felt sorry for her. I felt bad for Adara's passing but I'm pleased with way how Shae and Carlos's story ended. Carlo has been through so much he deserves a good ending. I wasn't sure I would like Catalina and Domi being back together but Sienna is a great story teller and has won me over with bringing everyone together. Now it's time to deep dive into the final book. Thanks for such awesome books!

Wow! This story just gets better and better. I almost hated Giovanni for a minute but realized he is an excellent chess player. He owned Lorenzo, with his crazy moves. Lorenzo couldn't stick on to one plan which is why he was doomed to fail. I just dislike Marietta on principle. She truly let her emotions control her every move, whether good or bad, and would never just hang on to her family.

I was happy to see Carlo finally get some happiness. He had the roughest time out of all the brotherhood. As for Umberto, HA!! Even though I hate to see this series end because it has been a wonderful journey, I am anxiously waiting the final installment!!

Another Great Read!

This book! I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last! When I first read about what happened to Eve, I was like, what? Did I miss something? I found myself going back to see if I just overlooked something, but I didn't. So, I continued to read and the book was over. I am so glad that I read the questions that Sienna Mynx answered at the end. That cleared up some things. Now I can't wait for the final book to come out! I have been a faithful reader to this series AND I have enjoyed every single book and I know others will too! I am definitely recommending this book to others.

Omerta books one and two are well written and the perfect build up for the final book in this series that has held us captive for years. The Battaglia Mafia series will always be one of the best Mafia series ever written. I'm sorry to see it come to an end, but very much looking forward to the next generation which seem to be predominately girls.

Come on with "Omerta: Book Three" Already!!!!

First of all, "too" means "also," and it's been used incorrectly throughout this book. Lightning has been misspelled throughout the series. There were many unanswered questions regarding everyone's fate that will be answered in the final(?) novel. I'm waiting patiently!
