Barbara McMahon has written a wonderful Christmas novella about remembering the joy of the season & enjoying what you have. Both Annie & Nick have been happy in the lives they’ve chosen but they both feel that something is missing. After a chance encounter, they find themselves drawn to each other. Enter a cute lost puppy that gives them excuses to spend more time together. I really enjoyed the way these two interacted & traveled down the path together. The puppy was a really cute addition. I enjoyed this quick holiday story that will have two people meeting by chance: Annie Tolliver, a lifelong resident of Lamberton, Montana and Nick Keller, a Doctor Without Borders doctor staying at his cousin’s place while healing.

The plot will have Annie hanging wreaths in the park for the Christmas season when she notices a man on a park bench, but no movement and it is bitter cold outside. She will approach and fear he is dead, when she goes to check for a heartbe

Annie had gotten the contract to decorate the street lights with Christmas wreaths in the park. Finding a man sitting on a bench, was he dead, to cold to be outside, and this early freezing. He was okay, and mentioned the coffee shop, and later she sees him there. His name was Nick and he had been in. Sahara Africa, and after the heat there he couldn’t get enough of the cold air.
Being a doctor and the life of a nomad sounded good when one was young. Wit

A Teaspoon of Mistletoe by Barbara McMahon is another feel-good romance by McMahon. Annie Tolliver runs a nursery in Lamberton and supplements her winter income by doing Christmas decorations and one of her clients is the town she lives in. While she is installing wreaths she comes across a man who appears to be unconscious, sitting on a park bench. She tries to do CPR on him but he suddenly wakes up and is not all that happy. Nick Keller is on break from his job with Doctors Without Borders, re ...more

The story of Annie Tolliver and Nick Keller is a sweet, clean novella about two individuals who are happy with the life they have. Or so they thought. One is a successful plant nursery owner , with roots in her town and no desire to leave it. She is well liked and always out to help others. The other one , is a doctor that works with Doctors without Borders, has no permanent home, or close friends and tends to be in locations where people are at their worse.

What a sweet love story!

Shows what can happen if we let love guide us.

Annie has a well established business in her home town. Never in a million years would she consider giving up her business, her friends, her home. As a matter of fact she'd already passed up an opportunity to follow a previous boyfriend to the big city. Living in Lamberton, Montana was what she saw as her future.

Nick Keller is the complete opposite. He is a doctor with the Doctors Without Borders program. He loves going into r

I really enjoyed this fast holiday read. Annie meets Nick, as she’s hanging the wreaths in the park. He’s sitting on a bench, not moving. She’s worried about him, since the temperatures are bitterly cold on this winter day in Montana. Nick is back from Doctors Without Borders to stay at his cousin’s condo, while he recovers from a serious illness. Two people that want totally different lives and an abandoned dog. Will Lucky bring them together or will Nick leave and return to Africa? Grab your c ...more

Annie loves her hometown and never wants to leave. Nick has been with Doctors without Borders for ten years. After meeting Nick at the park and knowing that he is alone at Christmas, she starts to show him the charms of living in her hometown. Sharing the temporary responsibility of an abandoned puppy brings them closer. I received a free copy of this novella from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. I love this sweet clean romance set in a small town. I am hoping there mi ...more

This quick holiday read was entertaining and heartwarming. Both the heroine and hero have a heart for people, as proven by their actions. Well rounded and likeable they made an enjoyable read set in a cozy small town.

Can love bloom, in spite of obstacles? And is there room in their lives for an abandoned puppy? You’ll have to read it to find out!

I will say that I would have given this book five stars except that it was poorly edited and I found that a bit distracting. It was, however, worth the
