Reece

Reece has had his eye on Cynthia for the last three years. Initially, he was giving her time to heal from a nightmare relationship but when he waited too long, he lost her to all his brothers. Now he’s ready to make a move to claim her but she’s out of the MC lifestyle and has a new set of rules.
I’ve been waiting for Reece’s story for a long time. I knew he’d been watching Cynthia and admittedly I have mixed emotions about her past with his brothers. The author does a great job of getting the reader to move beyond her actions but even Reece struggled with her past when confronted with his brother’s reminders. Fortunately, that same brother is the one to push him into acknowledging that she means more to him and from that point onwards he accepts her as well as her past.
I enjoyed how this couple went about finding a new beginning for not only Cynthia but for them as a couple. The dates were inventive and fun with lots of steamy goodness. Reece had an aura of innocence about him despite his own past. However, he was a complete alpha when it came to his woman once he decided to make his move.
Cynthia was a strong heroine. She set out to change her life not once but twice and succeeded. Never ashamed of her sexuality or her past with the brothers, she is upfront and direct about it with Reece. She was quick to put him in his place and myself as well. When trouble arises, she doesn’t take the easy road and I respected the heck out of her.
This is a fast paced read without a lot of MC business or interactions. We have some scenes with characters from the previous books and the promise of another on the horizon. Despite the heavy chemistry between Reece and Cynthia, I struggled some with the fact that he didn’t alpha up and claim her long before now. But I’m a lenient reader and when I let that point go I was able to enjoy the rest of this story. This ends with a perfect epilogue that had me smiling and itching to get the next book.

Reece was not what I was expecting..... he was so much more! I have loved all the Savage King men and Reece was no exception with his grumpy, broody self! Holy WOW... the chemistry and sexiness between Reece and Cynthia was off the fucking charts HOT, HOT, HOT and I mean change-your-panties-plus-have-an-extra-pair-handy kinda HOT! If for one minute you thought Reece couldn't steal your heart prepare to be claimed by the quiet broody one!

Super fun, endearing, sexylicious read!
Reece was definitely not what I was expecting. As a matter of fact, I don’t know what I was expecting but this is way more that what I expected and oh, so good and hot!
Heartbreak has made Reece the brooding recluse he is today. He’s given up hope of ever finding a woman he can fully trust and call his own. So when the gorgeous ginger Cynthia, a “regular” stops showing up at the club, even he surprises himself and goes out of his self-imposed confinement to make sure she is alright.
I loved this side of the Kings and the club itself. Other books in the series focused more on the club and the brothers as a group but here we see a more romantic side. That’s not to say this story is not as smoldering hot as the rest of the books, because was it! But we see another layer of what it means being a King. I also loved the empowering of female sexuality. Cynthia is a woman that refuses to be ashamed for her life choices and stands her ground when Reece tries to make a bid deal out of it. The fact that other brothers she had brief flings make him see that just because she enjoys sex doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve to be treated with respect made it all the better.
The epilogue was full of promises for the couple and now that Miles has announced to the club what he’s unintentionally gotten them into, I’m sure there will plenty more action and romance in the near future.

Let's start off by saying that this was our third read by these authors and we really enjoyed it.I am a big MC gene reader junkie so whenever I get a chance to snag a new MC author to feed my addition I do and I am so glad I came across this series as it is so much fun.
I loved the main character's from the onset of the story. Omg ! I fell head over heels myself for Reece with all that cockiness and those sexy good looks.I have to say I have read a lot of MC romances but, this was one of those romance reads that was super sweet because we loved that whole 10 date rule before I will sleep with you deal.I have to say that I loved the courtship that went on between Cynthia and Reece as he really did go all out to make them special and whether they were in person or on video chat let's just say those ones were a little more interesting lol.
We loved getting to know Reece a lot better as we already loved him from the previous books so we were glad to get to know his story.Reece's story explains a lot about him and why he chooses to be alone so much.Although Reece's didn't have the ideal home life he made some major life changes to see to the happiness of himself and his women and future family. Lost and betrayed and broken is how he came to the Savage Kings.
We loved Reece with his sense of humor( who need he had one to begin with lol) his sexy good looks, loved his possessiveness and protectiveness for those he cared for and loved but, most of all we loved the lengths and the sneakiness he went to in order to win the girl who from the moment he met her wanted her.We loved the smart hot sexy computer nerd that made us laugh out loud time and time again throughout this engaging tale.
Cynthia we found to be feisty,sexy, full of fire had a sense of humor and was comfortable with owning up to her own sexual needs and wants and the choices she's made past and present and has no trouble at all speaking her mind.Cynthia has been running from her past but, while carving out a new life for herself she been healing and looking to he future in the meantime.
The chemistry between Reece and Cynthia was off the charts and we are sorry it took so long for them to find their way to one another because clearly they were meant to be together.There sexual encounters were super hot as well as playful.These two just needed to be in the same room together and we felt the heat and sparks all around them.
Overall we loved the story from cover to cover as it was engaging,funny,heart felt,fill with some drama and made us laugh out loud time and time again as well as shedding more than a few tears and had a sweet love story that was really touching and turned out to be one heck of an enjoyable read.

Really enjoyed Reece and Cynthia's story. Reclusive Reece finally comes out of his security dungeon to go after what he wants and protect what's his. Great story I'd recommend.

Oh my lord... It's here... The next book from these two amazing authors is here and I couldn't start it fast enough.
If you have been following my reviews you know that I love MC books. The more I read, the more I want. I can't get enough of it.
DB West and Lane Hart have created this amazing series that has been my favorite from the start. It's a raw series, full of love and feelings, respect and hot stuff... Oh boy...
Reece is their latest release and it's the seventh book from the Savage Kings MC.
But before I talk about this book I need to tell you something. You should read all books in order. Doing it, you will understand this book better. Trust me on this.
This book explores the lifes of Reece and Cynthia.
Reece is one of the brothers. He takes his job protecting his club very serious and will do everything he can to make sure they are safe. When one of the club girls disappears he has the need to find her but...
Cynthia wanted to be a part of the MC family for a while now but that didn't happened. She wanted to become an old lady but the guys had other ideas. When another brother settled down she opted to get away from the club and seek a new life but Reece got in the way...
Perfect. That's the word that crosses my mind after reading "the end". This book was excellent and exactly what I was looking for.
Sublime plot, very well written, super engaging, sweet, intense and hot....
The chemistry these two share is off charts and it was a pleasure to see the way they interact with each other.
We are presented with some sweet and heartfelt scenes as well as some hot stuff as well. Jeez...
It doesn't matter what other think because when you know... You know...
Of course that every perfect story must have some love, action and sexuality and this one had it all.
I'm even more in love with this series and I can't wait for the next book.
Seriously DB and Lane. You two nailed it. You created a masterpiece and each new book just came to reinforce my thoughts. Perfect.

An AMAZING MC Romance MUST-READ!
“REECE” is an amazing MC Romance! The writing team of Hart and West have done it again – released a hit that provides hours of entertainment to their readers, while at the same time leaving them wanting more of the same. It’s a writer’s dream of a paradox, this – writing a hit novel that both satisfies readers including returning fans and new readers alike, while at the same time so capturing the imaginations of those readers that they have a hard time letting go of that world, wanting more of the same. I became so invested in Cynthia, Reese, the Savage Kings MC, and their story, I didn’t get to sleep until 4 AM this morning so I could finish reading “REECE.” Now I can hardly wait until the next novel about the Savage Kings MC is released. I will admit, I am totally addicted to this MC world developed by West and Hart, and the amazing men, rough, gritty and talented, who fill their ranks. If you are looking for a good book to read this weekend, then “REECE” should be your next romance purchase. It is a slow burn into the most amazing romance and steam! It is perfect! I voluntarily read an ARC copy of “REECE” and this is my honest, voluntary review. This one is a 5+STARS rating and a STONG recommendation to add it to your book or Kindle collections! Happy pages! 😉

Reece by Lane Hart and D.B. West a five-star read that will take you on a ride to the Emerald Isle. This is the seventh novel in the Savage Kings MC series, but it can be read as a stand-alone, but I have devoured and adored them as a series and loved how they have built on each other. Reece baby is a delicious morsel and one I would love to get into my Toy Box. I loved how we got to know the man behind the machine in this story, and by machine I don’t mean the blooming marvellous bike, but the computer, the man who keeps everyone safe with his security. Cynthia is a great red head, who shows us there is more fight let in her, she is ready to be more than just being a bed warmer, but someone is out to stop her from trying and we all know that you don’t upset a red head. The will they wont they is great and the chemistry off the charts hot, and once again these two write as one and take you to a place that I can only dream about visiting.

I absolutely loved this book. The moment I began I didn't want to put it down. Found myself drawn into the book feeling characters emotions at so many parts, laughing out loud and falling in love with Reece. Some may have been angry with his actions in the beginning towards Cynthia and her personal life but to me it was so damn cute that I found myself smiling so much while reading. The writing was done so well, I just can't say enough about how much I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good MC book as much as I do! I can't wait for the next one.

😍 totally swooning over this man!!! His feelings for Cynthia from the beginning are VERY appearent. She's the only one who doesn't seem to notice them. The suspense factor in the book was slightly predictable, but that didn't take away from the impact I felt when it happened! The connection between Reece and Cynthia is strong! I absolutely love them!!!

This may have been one of the weirder books of the series. If it were a different author in a different series, the plot wouldn't have been that bad. In fact, it wouldn't have been that out of place in a few other MC romance authors that I read. But because of the angle that the
Savage Kings MC Series has taken, it was...way too contemporary. You might as well take out the MC in it. Just Reece and his gal, going on dates. If it wasn't for her backstory and the reason why he didn't want to go after her in the first place, it wouldn't be an MC-anything. Weird stuff.
Cynthia showed up on the
Savage Kings MC's doorstep after her husband roughed her up several years ago. Reece gave her a new identity, but she ended up staying as a club girl. This turned Reece off completely because he doesn't share women with his brothers, even though he really cared for Cynthia. She stayed for the protection, the great sex, and the possibility of settling down as an ol' lady. When that looks like it isn't going to happen, she decides to leave and drifts away without telling anyone. The only person who notices is Reece, who goes nuts trying to find her. When he does, she's confused. He's one of the few who had shown no interest in her. In fact, all he did in the clubhouse was stay in the basement, playing with the club's security. It turns out that he does indeed like her...a lot. But can he get over the fact that she's been with his brothers? She likes him in turn, but she's done with casual. She wants long-term, and she's not sure that's what Reece wants. Does he want forever? A bet of at least ten dates before sex puts Reece to the test. However, there's danger lurking around the corner for Cynthia, and Reece can't always be watching.
There were some solid relationship connections in the book that I have to give the authors credit here. It was really fleshed out, and I appreciate that. However, they almost went overboard on that, and in turn, that was the whole book, turning it into some wacky contemporary book that didn't quite fit with the rest of the series. I actually wouldn't have minded that too much, but the ending was rushed. Plus, there were a few issues how Cynthia responded to Reece and how he responded to her after something major happened that I'm still scratching my head that each were so forgiving of each other. In fact, Cynthia's MAJOR blunder was overlooked in the book completely, and I'm sitting there, going, "Ya'll not going to address this? OKKKAAAY. Because...that would be a red flag to me if someone would keep something like that going for a bit to prove a point. But whatever. You guys do you."
Anyhow, I DO think the book is worth reading. It was fast-paced and had some good moments. It just had some iffy moments and won't be what you expect in an MC romance.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the seventh book in the Savage Kings MC series. In this book, Reece, the MC's tech wizard is concerned when Cynthia hasn't been seen for a few weeks. Cynthia is a club girl who came to Reece three years ago when she wanted a new identity after leaving her abusive husband. Reece also arranged for her husband to be arrested and sent to prison without telling her. When Cynthia spent time with a number of the club members, Reece never hinted he was interested in her. Reece has watched her for years and he always wanted her, but he was hurt in the past and decided he didn't want to be with anyone again. Cynthia had decided to leave the MC and try to find a normal man to settle down with and have a family. Cynthia was shocked to see Reece at her doorstep one night and after he chased her date away, he pushed his way into her apartment and invited himself to dinner. Cynthia was unsure what to think of Reece being there and when she told him she wanted to date and find a man for a relationship, Reece told her he couldn't offer her that. When Reece couldn't forget Cynthia, he crashed another date and eventually asked her out. Cynthia told Reece she wouldn't sleep with him until after 10 dates and Reece told her he could do that. They began a relationship and things were going well with them, until Cynthia thought it was time to get a divorce from her husband when she learned he was in prison and couldn't find her. I really loved this book and thought Reece was a great guy who was a lot more romantic than i thought he would be. I loved reading about how they fell in love. I think Reece had to realize he could be loved again and needed help watching the MC. I loved how Cynthia thought she was worth more than being a club girl and how she wanted to find love and have a family. She owned her past and wasn't ashamed, but she also wanted more for herself. Another great one in this series.

MC Romance is my preferred genre of choice, when it comes to books. D.B. West as well as Lane Hart, have perfected just how to draw you right in to their well crafted storylines; that come equipped with the amazingly designed characters to match. With the creation of this series, they have a fan for life in myself. The Savage Kings MC had complete attention from the very first book, Chase. To me, there is something about gorgeous strong men on two wheels and the Brotherhood that they form which I find addictive. It is about who they are as people, what they stand for and how they present themselves. These two amazingly talented Authors have created and designed realistic characters time and again; that keep me coming back for more... willingly. Reece is quite possibly one of my favorite books in this series, simply because it centers more around him, than it does their Club. This incredible man, who has been burned in the past, is forced to acknowledge the feelings he has for a woman who is just as strong-willed and determined as he is. They both have a past, can they over look what has happened in the past and move forward together, towards their happily ever after? Cynthia knows what she wants/needs, it is all or nothing with this fiery woman. It's time for him to make a decision is he in or is he out? She wants to be his 'old lady' and quite honestly, it's time to put up or shut up. I encourage all fans of MC romance to read this book and while it can be read as a stand-alone, I encourage you to read the series in its entirety.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Wow! Just Wow!! These two authors are knocking it out of the park with this series and I’m loving it. I loved Reece and Cynthia. Reece is such a loner, he’s sweet and caring, he comes off brash and gruff, but deep down he’s a big teddy bear and the first moment he saw Cynthia when she came asking for help, he knew he should’ve taken a chance on her, but his past and his own insecurities prevented that from happening. Cynthia was in trouble when they met, and Reece helped her as you would say “disappear”, she became part of the MC, a groupie per se and spent a lot of time with his brothers. When Cynthia hasn’t been seen in a while, Reece’s Spidey sense takes over and he goes in search of her, and what he finds is Cynthia, happy, moving on from the MC looking for a more fulfilling life, someone who wants her for more than a romp in the hay. Needless to say, she’s not having much luck in that department. Seems Reece is having a hard time staying away and sabotaging her dates at every turn, so when he confronts her, he agrees to her terms for them to have a relationship. Feelings are coming into the picture with all the time they spend together, but when danger comes knocking on the door will Reece be able to save Cynthia? Reece turned out to be my favorite of all the brothers, he just really grabbed my at my heart strings. This was such an amazing read, these two are sexy, deliciously yummy and passionate, you will not be able to put this down!!

I really thought that this book was something special. I have read so many MC romances and yet I do not ever recall one going where this one dared to go. Cynthia is a club girl that realizes thirty is fast approaching, her club prospects a dwindling and none of the members have ever been more than a hook up. This book is the story of her desire to make changes in her life and Reece's struggle to come to grips with all the feelings that she brings out in him (both good and bad). I loved the chemistry between these two characters and loved them as a couple. So why only four stars? Two reasons and they kind of roll all into just one. I really, really wish Reece had manned up and acted on his feelings sooner. I understood he had his baggage but this situation grated on me. If he had went for what he wanted there would have been less of a history between Cynthia and the other men in the club. Now, this is just my opinion. I know these other hookups will not bother some readers but for me it was hard to let go. These men were his "family of brothers". If I put myself in his place, I would not want the constant reminders that this whole situation would cause. These are alpha men that do not share what truly belongs to them; so in this Reece was quite a let down for me. I did like this couple though. So much. I just wish some things had played out differently. I thought their romance was steamy, emotional and surprising sweet. By my own accord I am posting a sincere review.

What happens?

Reece keeps to himself, more concerned with the security of the club. The compulsion to always be on guard ever since he saw the Prez's wife be gunned down rides him. Cynthia, one of the club hasn't been around in the last couple of weeks. Worried, he actually leaves his basement to check things out. He always wished he had made his interest known before she started "hanging out" with his club brothers. Cynthia is tired of just having a good time, she wants something real. When Reece shows up at her apartment and scares of her date, she can't figure out why he bothered. She had hoped once upon a time to catch his eye but he never made a move. When he shares how he feels, will Cynthia take a chance on a King?
I love the Savage Kings series so much! Each of the couples featured are unique, their hopes and their baggage. Reece has been a unknown quantity since the beginning and I was so happy to get into his head. Cynthia has also been a background character as well. She makes no apologies for how she has lived her life and won't let anyone make her feel that way. These two make a real effort to communicate and it was awesome to see. I read Reece in one sitting and is my new favorite. I can't wait to see where the Kings are headed; 6 stars for Reece!

Reese met Cynthia 3 yrs ago when she came looking for him to help hide from her abusive husband. From that moment on he was infatuated but he kept his feelings to himself. Cynthia not knowing this proceeded to become a club slut and slept with most of his brothers.
When he notices that she hasn't been around the club in a while he goes hunting for her. From there he proceeds to ruin her chances of finding someone who wants to settle down and have children.
She gives him a challenge, 1o dates before they have sex. He hasn't dated in years and asks one of his brothers for advise.
I am not a fan of a club slut becoming the heroin. Knowing she slept with most of his club brothers wash a no no for me.
As for Reese, I didn't get him whatsoever. Just because his ex cheated on him he pretty much became a reclusive. He stayed hidden in the basement of the club house unless a job required him to leave. Then we hear a very small part of his back ground but a lot that leaves you hanging wondering what happened. He grew up in a nudist colony and that's all you know about his childhood, no explanation on how it was growing up that way.
The little drama at the end was no surprise. Least favorite out of this series so far.

Well I think that Reece might be my favorite book in the Savage Kings series to date! I recommend reading the Savage Kings series in order because even though each book stands alone, there is an ongoing timeline and the characters are interconnected and will pop up throughout the series. Reece is our quiet tech member of the MC. He has been in his basement lair through the series always watching but staying quietly to himself. That all changes when one on the club girls, Cynthia stops coming around. No one else seemed to notice that Cynthia was no longer hanging around except Reece, It's always the quiet ones that are paying the most attention. After three years of hanging around the club hoping to find the right guy, Cynthia has decided that she wants more. She has no regrets about the fun times that she's had with the guys but she knows what she wants now and it's not happening at the club so she's moving on. Well Reece has something to say about that! This is a fun story told from dual POV about two people that have some hidden scars finding what they really want and need in each other. I cannot wait to see what's coming next for the Savage Kings!

Awesome read. I have been a fan of Lane Hart for many years now and I have never been disappointed. I’m new to D.B. West but this is book 7 in this series and they just get better and better making this author team just amazing! Usually, in a series, there are some books you like or dislike more then others but I have no problem saying these are all 5 star reads. I love that. Great job. This story is about Reece and Cynthia. I love how Reece comes off a such a jerk yet deep down he loving and caring. When Cynthia first approached him, needing his help. He was instrumental is helping her start again basically, she pretty much disappeared. After Cynthia’s “disappearance” had gone on for a while, Reece searched and found her happy; searching for a better life for herself’ trying to date but little did she know Reece was sabotaging her dates. Once the gig is up they agree to try and date; become a couple. They find themselves falling quite quickly and things are going well until everything falls a part and Cynthia is in danger. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book and purchased a copy as well.

I liked this romance between the hulky, nerdy, slightly strange computer genius MC biker and the easy MC groupie looking to change her loose habits.
Reese had been celibate for the three years after meeting and saving Cynthia from her abusive ex.
He stalked and searched for her after she abruptly left the club house in hopes of finding a man to settle down with. That was the catalyst in deciding to leave his basement surveillance life to venture out and claim the woman he had fallen for.
I liked the way the author was bold and chose a “fallen” woman who was passed around and shared with the club as the heroine for this story. The fact that Reese was different from the rest of his club brothers and abhorred the thought of sharing Cynthia, made him just the kind of man she needed. I loved the way he protected and looked out for her safety even when she was carrying on with the members.
The dual POVs showed how sweetly vulnerable this couple really were.
Enjoyable Romance from start to finish.

What can I say about this book? If you have read all the other books in this series you will know how amazing it is before you start. You would have fallen in love with Chase, Abe, Torin, Daulton, Maddox,War and how Reese.
Reese and Cynthia’s story isn’t like the others. He has known and watch Cynthia since he arrived at the Savage Asylum 3 years prior. But because of his both there pasts he stayed away. And he watched her being past around by his brothers.
But when she hasn’t been around in a while he goes looking. And when he finds her there is no holding back anymore. She’s trying to move on from the king’s and will not make it easy for him to get what he wants. Little does she know he’s willing to do pretty much anything so that they get their chance at forever.
Of course someone from the past has to come back to try to ruin it all.
This story is funny, sweet, romantic and a bit naughty. And you will love it and then just like all the other books in this series.

Reese keeps an eye on things for the club. He's the man behind the camera, always looking out for everyone's safety. When he notices that one of the club girls hasn't been around lately, he goes to check things out...Cynthia went to the Savage Kings for help and has been hanging out with them since then but lately has been growing tired of the club life. She wants something more, a real family. Reese finds himself wanting to make sure Cynthia is safe but also wanting to spend time with her. Soon they realize what a connection they have but before long things take a dangerous turn. The past Cynthia was trying to get away from quickly catches up to her. Will they get a chance to be together or will they be torn apart before they even start?
This was another great addition to this series! Wonderful characters and a story full of twists and turns. You will not be disappointed with this story or any of the books in this series. Definitely recommend
