Great story and a sweet romance.
What would you do if you happened upon a family home on the auction block? What would you do if that was your dream home with memories of happy times?

If you were like the main character who had saved for years upon years, you just hop in and buy it and figure it out later. I know that is what I would do.

This story radiates everything that we remember in our happy times with family. Special times with Grandparents and all of those fabulous

In my house, it is no secret that I am absolutely obsessed with Christmas movies…especially those on the Hallmark channel, and yes, I watch them all year long. So naturally, when I heard that reading Christmas Angels is reminiscent of those glorious Hallmark movies, I needed this story like my life depended on it.

Liz Westmoreland still remembers the wonderful times she experienced at her grandparents’ inn when she was a little girl. She always felt like her real home was Angel Creek, which was a

I found this to be a very heartwarming book with a sweet romance. In this book, Liz Westmoreland suddenly has the opportunity to buy the inn that was once her grandparents' Bed and Breakfast. It has been her dream to own it one day, and she sets out to start her new life there with joy in her heart. Once she arrives, she finds that the inn has pretty much been gutted, and is far from ready to operate as a Bed and Breakfast.

Liz struggles with feeling like she might be doing the wrong thing in

Is it ever too early to read Christmas books - the correct answer is NO! and I won't take any other.

Christmas Angels is a sweet, beautiful tale of going after your dreams.

Childhood dreams of family and places are what drive our lovely lady Liz. The place radiates everything she has always love and what she has dreamed of for years. And I can't blame her I want to move with her.

And then there is Matt. Oh my gosh, that man! Move over Liz, I am trying

Heartwarming book you'll be glad you read.
Liz Westmoreland wears her heart on her sleeve when it concerns her grandparents inn.
She carries a smile on her face and her heart in her pocket. She has such fond memories of their inn and her time there with them as a child before they sold it and moved away and she moved out of town. When she returns to town with her burning dream to purchase the inn she is dismayed to see it has fallen into disrepair.
Matt Hardy had a childhood crush on her and gladly
I am a Christmas story lover; so this one was a perfect choice for me. It's funny, that as I am reading the story; in my mind, I kept saying to myself that this would make a perfect Hallmark Christmas movie. Then within the story, the author mentions Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel and I had a good chuckle.

This is a wonderful story about "coming home" again. It is a beautifully written holiday story about 2 people; Liz & Matt, that met as youngsters and then meet again adults;

Christmas Angels is a sweet, charming, feel good, hallmark-ish Christmas story. And of course, Elvis the dog. What's not to love. The descriptions of the small mountain town and the inn pull you into this magical tale. The dynamics between Liz and Matt made for complex and interesting tension. A heartwarming and well-written story.

Oh my, what a sweet book!

Liz Westmoreland, who always dreamed of taking over her grandparents inn in Angels Creek, was overwhelmed when she stumbled upon a listing for the inn, which is going up for auction. Her grandparents had sold it many years ago, much to Liz’s disappointment. She decided to bid on the inn, even though the auction is right away and she doesn’t have time to see it beforehand. To her surprise, she wins the auction and heads to Angels Creek to fulfill her dream. But when she

Everyone has a place that says “home" to them, where just thinking about it brings back all those wonderful memories and the feelings it evokes wrap around you like a warm blanket. For me, it’s my aunt and uncle's place in New England, and for Liz Westmoreland, it's her grandparents' old bed and breakfast in the small town of Angel Creek, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. When her grandparents' lodge comes up for auction, Liz can't resist bidding on it. When she wins the bid, Liz leaves her ...more

Hahahaha, that Elvis! What a great book. I really hope we hear about his sister maybe in a future book? Loved how the town all came together and helped out.

Christmas Angels is a sweet, heartwarming, feel-good romance: a nice, light Christmassy read that reminds me of the best aspects of a Hallmark movie.

The book starts off a little slowly, and didn’t really hold my attention until about a quarter to a third of the way in, when the main characters finally start actually working on the lodge renovation. The heroine and hero are both likable, possibly a little too much so. Matt appears to have no flaws and even his sister thinks he is quite

What's not to love? It's the most magical time of the year and also happens to be my most favourite holiday. I love any story that is centred around Christmas; it’s a time for family and friends to get together and celebrate life.

When I read the blurb I was intrigued and I couldn’t wait to read about Antler Creek and her grandparents inn that Liz Westmoreland manages to purchase at auction.

Returning to the place that holds so many memories, Liz

What a charming book.

Both Liz Westmoreland and Matt Hardy bid on a piece of property that is up for auction. Liz wins the bid and she is surprised that it is the Inn that her grandparents owned years prior. It was always her dream to take over the running of the inn, but her grandparents sold it.

Now that she is the owner of this piece of property, she must decide what to do with it. The previous owners turned it into an art gallery and left the place a mess. Matt, who is her neighbor and the

When Liz finds her grandparents Inn up for auction she bids on it and wins. She never imagined to find the Inn in such rough condition. Matt also wanted to buy the Inn. It borders his land. When Matt finds out that Liz bought the Inn he is more than eager to help her restore it. What a wonderful Christmas story. I loved it. I loved the small town, the fact it was her grandparents Inn and I love angels! I really enjoy all her books.

The premise of this book had me eager to read it. Even if it isn't Christmas yet, I enjoy the feeling that I usually come away with in these holiday romances. Unfortunately, this one felt a bit boring. For me, the book as well as the pace did not pick up until the last chapters. The author's writing was easy to read but the pace of the story dragged. Thankfully those last chapters picked up and I lost my frustration.

Let me explain. The story itself had a lot of potential to be a

When St Martin’s approached me about reviewing this book, I was pretty excited to dive into it. I’m a huge fan of Christmas-y books and it reminded me of a hybrid of a Hallmark movie and the show Gilmore Girls. Unfortunately, this book had a much stronger resemblance to a Hallmark movie than to the long running show about a small town - if you’re looking for a light, shallow story about two people falling inn love (pun intended) in a small town, this is the book for you.

Given the premise - I was
