I have been an intense follower of everything this author writes for a few years now, and time and time again i’m pulled into her storytelling and charismatic characters. I wanted to enjoy this book as much as I did the others, I wanted to dive into it and not look away until it was completed but I found myself trying to find reasons to put it on hold.

First off, I have been waiting for Iva and Noah’s story since the begging hints of her arrival back into the story- I wasn’t aware these two woul

I say this in almost every review: I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not. Maggie’s Grove is an area near the mountains that is protected by witches. Magically that is. The people that live there are almost totally supernatural. There are witches, shifters, vampires, dryads, dragons and then some. This is also the fifth book of the Maggie’s Grove Series. Do you have to read them in order? I think so since it will help you understand what’s going on in these latter sto ...more

Noah Wulfenbach has been vigilant in his caring for his mate, sitting beside her tree, talking to it but now she’s back and his relief is matched only by his desire to drag the feisty dryad to his house to complete their mating bond. Iva is ready to make for lost time, curious and excited to find out just how firmly she’s tied to Mr. Tall, Dark and Growly. But before they can explore the depth of their connection they have to kill the most powerful of demons…or die trying.

Tied off the plot point of the last 3 books. I liked the leads & the kids were adorable.

Yes, smut to be skimmed past but still had plot & character development.

Bunnies? Well they are more violent than we think of them being IRL. Oo

All in I still loved the book minus my griping ..more like wishes? It probably has more to do with that I waited so long for it. DMB is my go to for funny , sarcastic, kick-ass character and awesome battles and its been sooooo long! Maybe when I do a reread with all over them now it will make more sense
But I hate to say it. I loved the book but was the wait worth it? Sorta. I loved everyone like always I especially loved the parts of Ash, Greer and Iva or Greer , Iva and Noah...let's just face
Having read the other books in this series (and re-read them all several times!), I had absolutely no doubt at all that I would enjoy this book. That being said, even I was unprepared for how truly epic this book was going to be! While each book has it's own story, there is also a larger story, that continues from book to book, a supernatural mystery that builds to a grand crescendo in Hour of the Wolf.

Ivy is one of the ruling dryads in Maggie's Grove, a town inhabited by supernaturals and thos

Sadly this is a dnf for me. I rate it 1.5. I only just picked this series up in the last week. Overall it was an ok series. I found the writing easy to read but where it tried to be funny I found it corny.
I was looking forward to Noah and Iva's book. I feel like their story has been building from the third book. I was kind of dissapointed in the way Noah was portrayed in his own book. Throughout we see Noah being the biggest baddest wolf and yet he just felt flat and boring in his own story.

the story of the book was amazing. the only problem is that since the next book comes with such a huge gap, I for one tend to forget the past events of the last book. But, i still hope that the author keeps on writing amazing stories like this.

I absolutely loved this book. The characters were so intense. This book is so well written that you can actually picture yourself as the main character , very vivid. I recommend this book.

She attended the High School for Creative and Performing Arts for creative writing, where freedom of expression was the order of the day. When her parents moved out of the city and placed her in a Catholic high school for her senior year she tried desperately to get away, but the nuns held fast, and she graduated with hon ...more
