The citizens of America know life in a post-apocalyptic world isn’t easy and leaves little reason to rejoice. Therefore, when Samantha’s baby sister graduates from college, a trip to Liberty Island seemed like the perfect way to celebrate. Nothing could have been more wrong.

Shore Haven, a newly built, self-contained refuge, was meant to be a source of security for what was

My Rating: 4.5 Stars!

Bring it on! A post-apocalyptic world, still reeling from past events only to be thrust into even more horrors! Jennifer Lynn Reynolds clearly isn’t going to let what is left of humanity in the United States off easy in her latest page turner, SHORE HAVEN! Will nowhere be safe? Is there hope for anyone to survive? They say where there is a will, there’s a way and love conquers all, but…can it conquer zombies?

Samantha, a writer who creates her own worlds with her pen is about

I have to admit, I rarely ever read zombie apocalypse stories. That being said, I really enjoyed this book. It was well written with an interesting story. And the back-story, I think you would call it, added an interesting twist. The characters were interesting and likable, for the most part. The ones that weren't likable weren't supposed to be. The author's world-building was fantastic, she describes a world that has finally recovered for one series of world-ending devastation in such a way tha ...more

A post apocalyptic zombie apocalypse novel!

Shore Haven was so well done. It has a nice even balance between plot progression and character arcs. The back and forth between the two leads’ POVs works smoothly and you can tell who the narrative is following, even if you have to put the book down and pick it back up later.

The love story was subtle in this one. I wouldn’t call it a romance novel, but it definitely gives it a nice spice of reality. I really felt for them trying to balance doing the

I have to say, I never get tired of the zombie/ apocalyptic type reads that Jennifer brings us. Even though there are similar aspects about them she truly brings the characters to life in their own ways and I really liked the world that was created within this one as well. Let’s just say there had already been enough going on in this world already that’s it wasn’t like holy crap ZOMBIES 🧟‍♀️...
It was more like- oh great... now we have zombies, what could happen next? The answer- lots of action s

A rip-roaring but intelligently written Zombie fest - Loved it!

I’ve read a few Zombie themed books now, some great, and some a bit predictable with little more to offer than too much blood and gore but nothing else. I’m happy to say, Shore Haven, while still retaining its fair share of gruesomeness, squarely falls into the former category. Set some way in the future judging from the climatic and other near-apocalyptic conditions, the author does an excellent job of portraying a world beset to th

America has gone through the ringer many years prior with earthquakes, floods, and all kinds of other natural disasters. But life has been rebuilt and goes one. But some people remember the stories from their grandparents and have prepared. Thus, Shore Haven was created.

Samantha is so happy that her sister Madeline has graduated from college and books them a trip to Liberty Island. But then there are reports of people becoming very sick then eating other people. Samantha and Madeline start ventu

I am always in love with this author's stories! I honestly wouldn't have thought a book featuring zombies would be up my alley... don't get me wrong, I knew she wouldn't let me down... it's just not something I thought I would LOVE! This story is full of action, romance, the characters are so well developed. I just genuinely loved this story! Every page kept me intrigued!
