Excellent follow up to HR Disrupted
If you liked HR Disrupted is a no brainer to pick this one up. I don’t have “a career in HR” but I’ve been working with them in a coaching function and HR Disrupted was a very useful book to inspire that team and spark discussions. I have gone through this one in a couple days, it’s a quick read as honest and engaging as Disrupted (and not sure if intentionally but I think some parts are hilarious - that Sean Penn story was funny!), and I plan to use it to drive new conversations at work.

Easy to Read and Practical
Gives you an interesting perspective about HR and the role needs to assume considering the VUCA environment organizations are facing. Interesting approach on how to treat employees and also how a alliance with Marketing can transform the way HR plans and deploys change.

I’ve become a pretty huge fan of Lucy Adams over these past few months! This book was more useful and applicable than the Change Management module I recently completed at a UK university. I gained so many easily-applied techniques, was introduced to *modern* thinking in the change arena, and the behavioural science part was supremely useful.
