I've always enjoyed historical fiction. So what could possibly be better than using historical fiction to bring biblical female characters to life. The narratives included in here help you relate to the women and to God in a much deeper way. You can see yourself and others within these accounts. You can feel the pain of the women and you can taste the goodness and faithfulness of God as their individual needs are met. The reflective questions are great for group discussion. I highly recommend this resource for women groups.
This is a wonderful book highlighting different women of the Bible. Each chapter talks of the love God had for women. I used it in a small group study in Spanish. The authors do a great job of seamlessly writing chapters filled with encouraging words an asking questions to make the reader look at her own life. The book is easy to read and I love that it is printed in English as well as Spanish.
