For Tristan Todorov, formerly a freelance magician and now a consultant on occult matters, living with an incubus turns out to be rather challenging. Not only because there’s little information on incubi, Gomorrah pleasure demons. Jarek, the one he has a contract with, has a fiery personality and a dark past, and sometimes he’s a mystery Tristan can’t decipher.

What a wonderful third installment to the series! Although it is told entirely in Tristan's point of view, like the previous volumes, we slowly come to learn more about Jarek's own past, his fears and insecurities. It is truly a challenge for these two damaged and solitary men to find their way to trust their relationship, and as a reader I was truly in anguish that they might not make it. The happy ending truly comes as a cathartic moment of all-embracing bliss.
