This was such a delightful read. Fur and Grrr talks about the various experiences and famous quotes about dogs. It was hilarious and each part of the book left remarkable lesson for the readers to remember. There are so many breathtaking illustrations accompanied with each writings,it's is amazing.
I felt that Fur and Grrr is an unique book because it not only has stories from the dog owners but also the canine side story,their thoughts and debates,their joys,determination and experiences.
There are so many stories in here some of them have hilarious talks and it's definitely going to put a smile on your face. Selecting a favourite section from this book is next to impossible.
I would totally recommend this book to every dog lovers. Just pick it up for read and trust me you won't be disappointed at all.

A cute compilation about dogs with quotes and excerpts from various writers, celebrities and what looked to me like early email joke lists/forwards, this book will make most dog lovers smile. While heavy on the Dave Barry, and lighter on illustrations than I'd prefer for this type of book, I did truly enjoy reading it. 3.5 stars rounded up- recommended for dog people.

This is a book of funny anecdotes and jokes about dogs. Sadly, I only found a few of these funny. Perhaps if I had a dog, I’d find more of them amusing? It certainly contains many, and also states the sources they were obtained from, where possible.
The illustrations that separate the sections are lovely, even on a black and white kindle.

A fun romp through dogdom
This is a fun anthology of mostly humorous anecdotes about dogs (and cats actually). I think both dog and cat lovers will enjoy this collection. The observations are mostly true. As an animal lover, as well as both a dog and cat owner over the past sixty plus years, I recognize myself in the dog owners portrayed in the book. I have learned much from my pets and have loved them all. This anthology captures the love many of us feel for our pets, as well as the seeming unconditional love they offer us.

Some of the stories and quips were better than others. Still, it was a good, easy read and reminded me how lucky we are to have dogs.

This book is geared toward dog lovers and people owned by cats. It's not just a collection of short stories, or just a book of quotes. It includes those but also has news articles, and stories from The Onion, quotes from famous writers, celebrities and more. Some of them are laugh out loud funny. Most of them are a bit on the dry side though and I caught myself skimming them for the most part. There are really great contributions though. The ones from Twitter were my personal favorites.
If you also catch yourself skimming check out the chapter headings and feel free to look around. You're bound to find something that will give you a chuckle.
They thoughtfully include many points of view but none more important that the dogs. We could learn a lot from dogs and it's a sad fact that many don't. We should take a lesson or two and nap as often as possible.
I can't recommend it as a five egg read. As I said, a good chunk of it was dry but there was enough great material to off set that enough to earn three.
