What a fun fun book!
I absolutely LOVED this book.
The Hashtag Hunt is a gem, I tell you. This is joy in the form of a book.

If you are in the mood for a book that is a whole lot of fun and adventure, this book is it.
If you want to read a book that is going to make you laugh, this book is it.

I loved the sweet innocent flirting with it's hilarious pick up line that just makes your heart sing with pure joy!

I have to say, its been a while since I've enjoyed a book where I feel like there are no 'main
4.5 # Stars.

Kristina Seek’s debut novel The Hashtag Hunt is easily in the top ten of my most favourite books for 2019 and the year is far from over. I read the blurb and I was right on board with the whole # Hunt.

12 hours to text 12 photos to the Wizard to win $10,000.

Sounds easy right? No it isn’t actually that easy but it sure hell is a lot of fun.

Lauren decided to sign up for the competition to get her baby Paperback Vinyl going so far she’s in the run for the prize money. She’s got her best

All the characters were so funny and their back and forth banter was a delight. I smiled the whole way through, and the entire thing was just so enjoyable. Such a great first book from this author!

4.5 stars. Where to start with this one? I really loved it! Not to mention that I want to participate in something like this! How much fun! Now, I'd heard of the HitW before, Hotties in the Wild, but now I'm intrigued, is there really a Facebook page for it? I need to find it! I also need to get better about taking my own pictures of HitWs if I find them. Although now that I think back on it, the ones I'm thinking of were noticed while I was working at the bookstore, where I wasn't allowed to ...more

THE HASHTAG HUNT is a story full of friendship and romance that is just plain fun! Contemporary romance fans will find many laugh-out-loud and swoon-worthy moments as they follow the heroine and her group on a unique scavenger hunt. Definitely worth the listen!

The story starts when Lauren is in the middle of The Hashtag Hunt, a scavenger hunt where competitors have to submit pictures via text that matches a specific hashtag. The winner wins $10,000, which Lauren wants in order to open her own
Fun, orginal concept. Great dual narration. Excited to be working on promoting the audiobook.

This was a fun story about friendship, helping others, some romance and reaching for your dreams. Lauren wants to open her own business. She has been saving and if she wins The Hashtag Hunt there is a $10,000.oo prize, which will be enough for her to act on her dream of opening a store. Her BFF, Ivy is helping her and their adventures during the evening are so much fun. They meet a couple of hotties and with all Lauren's friends, she is able to send in some awesome Hashtag photos.

This unique story captured my attention from the very beginning and held on tight. The premise of the characters running around the city using their imaginations to take pictures for a hashtag contest is new and fresh. And the fact that this book takes place over only one night adds to the speed of the story and kept me glued to the pages. This book is definitely a roller coaster ride with the urgency of the Hashtag Hunt playing alongside the swoony

I didn't know much of anything about this going in, but it was an incredibly fun adventure that takes place all in one night. We follow Lauren who is competing in The Hashtag Hunt. Along the way she meets new people, has some adventures that are a little out of her comfort zone and finds new friends.

There are definitely some elements that you have to suspend disbelief for, but this book was so fun I had to give it five stars. It was that good based on enjoyment alone, while also briefly touching

I had an opportunity to read The Hashtag Hunt for the New England Readers' Choice Awards back in December of 2018/January 2019 and had a reread of it just a few weeks ago for this blog tour taking place right now, and if I could rate it a million stars just for captivating the audience, I would be a happy reviewer LOL THIS BOOK WAS GENIUS AND FUN!!

Obviously you can tell from the blurb the jist of the story so I won’t unfold it for you, but let me tell you, if you’re looking for a pretty quick

This book is so delightful. It is light and fun, with the right mix of anticipation, suspense, humor, and romance. The characters are wonderfully created and make for such a fun spontaneous adventure.

I enjoyed this quick, fun romantic comedy. My rating 4.5.

Lauren has a great group of friends who support her. Her friend Ivy has inherited funds and she would be more than happy to gift or lend the money Lauren needs to open her dream store, Paperback Vinyl, for used books, records and related items. But Lauren is set on earning her own way before opening the store. She has entered Hashtag Hunt, an online contest hoping to win the $10,000.00 prize. The hunt requires texting 12 specific images in

This debut novel blew me away! It was fast moving with humor and clever thinking by the participants. What a fun way for Lauren to be able to raise money to open her dream store of Paperback Vinyl-a retro music store complete with retro record players, tape decks, etc. The Hashtag Hunt is an organized contest where the preregistered contestants must find 12 pictures of things given to them by the Wizard. When Lauren is stuck finding a man-bun, her friend Ivy tells her where she needs to go and ...more

The Hashtag Hunt is such a cute romance! I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting. I have never read a book with a scavenger hunt or a contest like this, so I was really curious to see how it all played out.

Lauren has a dream to open Paperback Vinyl. She is determined to do this on her own, so when the hashtag hunt starts, she knows she needs to participate! I loved how passionate she is to get what she needs to follow her dream. To take these pictures you need to think fast

The Hashtag Hunt
By: Kristina Seek
Narrated by: Andrea Emmes, Tim Paige

This is an original story, a fun and adventurous one! Kristina Seek is a new to me author, I enjoyed her writing style and the storylines she created, they captivated my mind from start to end. The characters in this book are likable and well developed. I liked Lauren’s determination and dedication to what she wanted as well as the friendship and bond she had with Ivy. And hello #Hottie,

This was a fun read from beginning to end. Ms. Emmes and Mr. Paige were a great choice for narrators. They did their job of bringing the characters to life. They left me wondering what other adventures they may take the reader on. The sad part was that the time went by so quickly.

The book is listed as a contemporary but when the characters talk about certain things they found, I thought they were talking as if they were from the future and looking at things from the past – not a recent past but

The premise of this book is so 2019 because you either #LOVELOVELOVEhashtags or #DESPISEhashtags. There really is no in between and I happen to love them. The thought of entering a contest to win $10K by simply submitting pictures that go with a hashtag is amaze balls! It sounds like something that my friends and I would do and now I wonder if there is really an APP for this. Hold on a minute. I checked the APP store and, sadly, there is not. Kristina Seek… should totally create this APP!!! ...more

There are not enough words to express just how fun this book is. The Hashtag Hunt is overflowing with fantastic humor, witty banter, fun adventure and sweet romance! All of that coming together to create a story that kept me up half the night glued to the pages. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I had so much fun with a book. Kristina Seek’s brilliant writing brought every aspect of this adventure to life in a way that it was like you were right along beside the characters for every ...more

New way to meet someone...........

This book come recommended from a family friend to check out as a read that I might like. From the first sentence I was hooked on this amazing new tell of a scavenger hunt by using a smartphone and using Hashtags. Lauren and her friend Ivy start out in a bar where Lauren has already sent in one of the HASHTAGS for the contest and she gets a text with her next requirement and when he walks into the bar she decides that he is the #HitW (Hottie in the Wild) and

Wow - this is an awesome debut book!

I don't always gush about books, but man - I absolutely loved this one. I thought the premise was unique and I found this book witty, funny, the banter between Lauren and Brenner was so cute and Scully - oh my - he was a hoot!

So Lauren has entered a photo hashtag contest to win money to pursue her dreams. When she has to find a "Hottie in the Wild" - she snaps Brenner's photo and then the fun really begins. Even from the beginning bar scene - I knew I was

OH MY GOD! This was such an incredible read! Now I have to find more books from this author!!! Who are Ivy and Lauren? Where do we find them? What is going on with Lauren? What is she on the hunt for? Why? If she succeeds, what are her plans? I loved reading about Brenner and Scott. The 12-point buck added to the fun. Oh my gosh, this book had some unexpected surpriss and was a book that I could not or would not put down once I started. Not even to go to dinner with mom, whom I am visiting. This ...more
