Unlike all the other people who have given this a rating before it's even been published in paperback, I was given an advanced advanced copy of this book. I was an alpha-reader. However, my opinions are my own and this review is unbiased.

Crow and Jazz ... could we ask for a better ending to such an amazing series? I don't think so.
JSJ knows how to hit you in the heart. These two are raw, real and face demons nobody should have to face. I can't get over Jazz's strength and Crow's patience, they're ...more

The last line from Jeanne St. James's previous book "Dawg" was responsible for the collective catch in the throat felt by her loyal readers across the globe. I didn't think she could write a sentence that could affect me as strongly as that last line did, but I was wrong. In "Crow," St. James's final DAMC offering, there is a line in chapter 3 (page 42) that was so powerful I had to stop reading for a bit to process my emotions. That one particular line struck a chord with me as a social worker ...more
God this is a bittersweet review to write. This was BY FAR my favorite book in the series but it's also the last! *sob* why why why is it over?! Noooooo I'm not ready!

I bitched the entire time this series was going that I wanted a sweeter heroine. Someone that was different than the other crass and... "experienced" heroines and then Jeanne gives me the wonderful gift of Jazz and poof. The series is over. I'M NOT READY!

Crow was EVERYTHING I had hoped he would be. This book was sweet but also SMOKING ...more

5 star review of Down & Dirty: Crow Dirty Angels MC # 10 by Jeanne St James

Audio Review

I have been waiting for what seems forever for Crows story in audio but boy was it worth the wait. From start to finish Jeanne St James and the narrators Joe Arden & Ava Lucas drew me in and kept captivated with their narration which was spot on and really brought this story to life for me.

I knew going in that this is the final book in the Dirty Angels MC series and I was excited and yet sad to listen ...more

I enjoyed Crow, but I wanted more. I thought he would be more complex with his mysterious past. I enjoyed Jaz coming into her own. I did think Diesel would be more involved in the healing for both of them. While this was good, I am looking for more in my books as of late. Crow delivers but left me wanting more.

Crow & Jazz

Been waiting awhile to get Crow's story. While I'm happy he has finally found his perfect person I was kind of bored with this one. It had it's moments snippets of the sisterhood and brothers but it just fell flat for me. I really didn't see the big deal about the age difference so I rolled my eyes a bit on that issue. All in all I was happy that Jazz trusted Crow and took a chance on him. It still was a great read. I have many unanswered questions especially about why Rocky's children ...more

Yes Yes Crow!!!

Absolutely loved Crow and Jazz's story. I have been waiting for this book since the beginning. I also wondered what happened with Jazz. This story is not an easy read and its background goes all the way back to Hawk and Kiki's book. I highly recommend reading the entire series before reading Crow you will have a better understanding of what Jazz went though as well as Crow.
Overall I am sad this is last for now of the DAMC. I loved this series. One of my favorite MC Romances to date. ...more

OMG!!! I have loved every book in this series but Crow and Jazz just hit ALL the feels in me and wow...I need Mercy's book like right now.
This one was so angst-filled and steamy and sad and exciting...right down to the last surprising pages. I'm ready for the new biker series now as well =) Bravo!

***** 5 ***** "saved the best for last" stars
Epic conclusion! Ver emotional!

Emotional and healing conclusion to DAMC series! Loved Crow from his first mention and I'm so glad he got such a beautiful story! Jeanne is a master with these alphas! And I can't wait to see peaks of them in the next series!

This book was amazing! We have been anxiously awaiting who Crow would fall for being how popular he is with the sisterhood. Im glad he was able to help Jazz find herself again after all she went through, endured and survived. Also Crow was able to make peace with his past. We see the similar thread of the DAMC member not getting his head out of his A** too. Crow and Jazz story was definitely a tough one. Again, I say this with every book. I love the sisterhood. These female characters are awesome ...more

Eh... I expected more both for and from Crow, to be honest. Crow, who always had wise, level-headed, mature advice for everyone else, sucked at taking his own advice. Thank God Linc finally called him out on his bullshit. Anyone who thinks the way Crow did in everyone elses books would have never taken Jazz on as more than a friend because hed know that shed form an attachment to him and that would be bad for her in the long run if he intended to not stay with her in the end. I know Jazz is a severely ...more

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Wow, I didnt know what to expect with Crows story but I was absolutely blown away. Ive loved this series like they were my family and I hate to see it end, but Im sure with the upcoming series our favorites will be intertwined in those stories as well. Where do I start? Crow has always had a special place in the women of the DAMCs hearts, hes loving, kind and all-around sweetheart. When he first saw Jazz she was 18 years old, too young ...more

Aw man, reading Jazz and Crow's story was so bittersweet. I have been waiting for a long time for both of their stories. For them to turn out to be one and the same was perfect! At the same time, I almost didn't want to start reading knowing this is the last book in the series. The men of the DAMC and the sisterhood have found a place in my heart. Each couple is special, but Jazz and Crow, they might just take the top spot.

Secretly wanting each other from afar many years ago, a devastating attack ...more

I cannot believe that this series has reached it's end! It's one of the best I have listened to, each story intertwined with characters, having it's own original plot. We end with Crow. He has been in so many of the books, as he is the inkslayer of the DAMC. When Jasmine comes back to town looking for a tattoo, he is the only one that can give her what she is looking for. We have met Jasmine before in Hawk's book, and her tragedy had her mending for several years, but now she is looking to begin ...more

Jasmine aka Jazz has been to hell. She had a traumatic and horrific attack that has shaped who she has become. Coming back to Shadow Valley has brought back parts of her past she is not wanting to face. But it has also brought her face to face with the man that holds her heart.
Crow is shocked when he sees Jazz, the woman he calls Kachina, in his tattoo shop. The woman standing before him is not the bright, vivacious bombshell he knew from before. Instead, she is a dark shell of her past.
When Jazz ...more

Crow never thought she would just show up in his shop, not after six years. But here she is and she needs him. Jazz needs his help in covering the scars of her past and breaking through the fears. Crow knows she is too young and just needs help to get back to where she was before her life was destroyed. Jazz has loved Crow too long and has to seize her chance at being in his arms even if it means that she has to walk away in the end. Can family and love heal the broken?

Coming to the end of the DAMC ...more

I received an advanced copy from the author for my honest review. In saying that I say this.....if you have not read the rest of or at least not most of the books in the series (especially Hawk) I recommend that you not read this book. This book is an AMAZING book, but by not knowing the history of not only Crow and Jazz, but also the whole Dirty Angels MC you are cheating yourself out an amazing journey of tears, anger, laughter, fighting, pain, but most of all love and family who no matter what ...more

Saved the best for last and brought back someone who was greatly missed. I am saddened to see this series end. Crow is the silent warrior who will go to battle for his brethren and the woman who captures his heart. He is a sensitive soul and has had a way with the women of the DAMC. From the time she was eighteen, Jazz caught his eye and he fell hard. However, one fateful day, Jazzs life was irrevocably changed and it took her away from her family and him. Fast forward six years, Jazz has returned. ...more

Excellent, Emotional, A Must MUST MUST READ !!
I was so excited to read DAMC series Book 10 Down & Dirty Crow, the anticipation built so high as Crow's character had grown with each book in the series. He was the clubs inkslinger always in the background being supportive, he didn't say much and when he did it was always intuitive and wise. The women of the club loved the Native American hot MC member enough to keep his club brothers a bit jelous but he wasnt looking for a old lady. Crows past ...more

I couldnt wait to read Crows story and to see whom his lady interest was and it was a blast from the past. She had the most horrible thing happen to her, left town and now is back to have Crow tattoo her and possibly help her get rid of the memories of her sexual assault. This story is so raw and no woman should have to deal with what she went through.

She is trying to heal but is a shadow of the young girl she once was. She hides behind her clothes, hair and makeup. Crow omg the perfect hero but ...more

What can I say about this book?
Jeanne St. James did it again. It wasn't enough to rip my heart out in Linc's book, noooo. She just went and upped her game to heartwrenching heights with Crow's again. My poor little heart almost couldn't take it.
Crow was an interesting, pretty enigmatic character for me throughout this whole series. It was just as right for him to get his own story. And what a story that turned out to be.
What happened to Jazz was so tragic, it simply ruined her. I secretly hoped ...more

Crow is installment 10 of the Dirty Angels MC Series. Down & Dirty Crow is the 10th book in the Dirty Angels MC series and what a fantastic end to this series. The DAMC has taken the reader on a magnificent journey filled with laughter, tears of joy and sadness, anger at the characters and hard core desire. What began with Zak and Sophie seems only natural to end with Crow and Jazz. Crow has been a supporting character that we have learned a bit about along the way. He is the level headed advice giver yet the antagonist that has always been handsy with the club women. A beautifully emotional end to a series that has stolen my heart. These characters prove with the right kind of love, the kind that is patient and accepting, nothing is impossible.

We have been waiting to learn more about Crow since the beginning and he did not disappoint.
