Heartfelt, jolly, and sweet!

Stealing Kisses in the Snow is an amusing, tender tale that takes us back to Rendezvous Falls and into the life of the hardworking, kindhearted Piper Montgomery as she meanders through all sorts of highs and lows, from losing her husband, raising two kids alone, grieving in-laws, unexpectedly running the inn, and an undeniable attraction to Iris’s mysterious, yet devilishly handsome grandson who suddenly arrives to lend a hand.

The prose is effortless and light. The ch

This was such a sweet heartwarming festive Romance! Jo McNally created such vivid characters, I feel as though I would know them if they were walking down the street. The setting was so charming. An old inn, a pink house, and a small town, yes yes and yes! This was a romance, but it was also so much more. The book really focused in on family dynamics and how grief impacts the family and how the different members of the family move on from it. Piper is a single mother of two, Lily a precocious f ...more

"She was picket fences. He was open road."

Widow and single mother, Piper Montgomery have enough on her plate with her two kids (a four-year old chatterbox and a sullen teenager) and being temporarily in charge of the inn where she was working part-time, since the owner was injured because of a bad fall. But the arrival of a newcomer at the inn might be Piper's biggest challenge yet.

Logan Taggart is the grandson of Iris, the inn's owner. On leave after an injury for him too at the oil rig, it won

I'm going to let you in on a little secret, I really enjoyed this book much better than I did the first book in the series. I'm not totally sure why. She's a new author to me so maybe I had to get used to the way she writes. All I know is that I liked these characters more and the writing flowed much more quickly in this one.

I'm so glad that I decided to try the next book in the series. And this is why when I like

I totally assumed this would be a sweet and heartwarming holiday read with a cute little small town setting and it was, BUT it was also pretty funny and spicy too. Both the main characters had a wicked sense of humor, sarcasm is my love language so I was into that obviously, and then there were also adorable kids, so really what more could a girl want? I was totally charmed by this one and will definitely be reading more of the authors books!

This is a funny and charming book. I have not read the first book in this series but after finishing this book, I want to go back and read it.

Instantly, I fell in love with Piper. An independent woman that is not afraid to get her hands dirty...literally. She was unclogging toilets as well as attempting to play plumber. Her children,Lily and Ethan were stars in this book as well. Lily is adorable and Ethan may be your typical teenager...moody; you can't help but like him as well.

This was a sweet, heartfelt, festive read! It was a quick read perfect for the holiday season. I have not read any of the others in the Rendezvous Falls series but really enjoyed this one. The characters were well developed and were relatable/ real. The setting of the perfect was quaint and cute and the author painted a wonderful picture. Piper is a widow, working hard to take care of a 13 year old son and 4 year daughter. After the loss of her husband, she’s gotten used to handling everything o ...more

Such a fun book to read. Single widowed mom, teenaged kid, incredibly cute little girl, difficult in-laws falls for her boss's son who has a nomad's past...just in time for Christmas! I just loved it! McNally does a great job writing the kids in this story, as well as the range of emotions our hero and heroine go through. Really well done, can't wait for more in this series. ...more

Stealing Kisses in the Snow is a seasoned romance taking place between October and Christmas. It features an adorable four-year-old, a moody teenager, a single mom, a rolling stone rig worker, and a matchmaking grandma. This is the second book in Jo McNally’s Rendezvous Falls series and is a standalone read.

Iris Taggart owns the Taggart Inn, a small bed and breakfast in Rendezvous Falls, New York. For the last few months, she’s been running the inn with just herself and Piper Montgomery. But whe

I so enjoyed this second book in the Rendezvous Falls series.

I love The book club ladies and man. Iris particularly. I read the book while recovering from a broken femur. Her rants about her Broken hip and how Are you expected to pull up your pants while holding on to a walker was quite amusing, as it is something I had been saying as well.

I enjoyed Piper’s zest for life. Logan was an amazing strong compassionate man.

I am looking forward to the third book out in a week!

STEALING KISSES IN THE SNOW is a sweet and festive love story about Piper, a single mother of two, and Logan, who has never stayed anywhere long enough to put down roots. Iris Taggert is eighty and has been held up by her injury, forcing her to take a step back from the bed and breakfast that she runs in the Finger Lakes. She has deputized Piper as the manager in her stead, knowing that Piper will run the place the way she wants it to be run.

I'm always on the lookout for books with older main characters, seasoned romance, mature adult, whatever you want to call it, I like it a lot. So much I do a monthly roundup over on Frolic Media to help promote the titles! I try to read as many of these books as possible before I write the roundup post but my list has started growing at such a rate, I'm lucky if I can get around to a handful. Right off the bat, I fell for Piper. She is widowed and struggling to stay afloat while raising her two kids. And yet she has amazing strength and determination. I also immediately adored her daughter Lily, who is one of those smart and spunky kids I have always enjoyed being around in my classroom and otherwise. Logan starts out a little rough, but you know he is going to soften. And Piper's poor son Ethan is a teenage mess, struggling with the usual teen drama, amplified by him still reeling f ...more

This time, it's Logan Taggart, Iris's grandson, who is their target. A Christmas story should be about love, family & the spirit of the holidays. Taggart Inn doesn’t feel like it’s in the holiday mood with the owner Iris having fallen & broken a hip. She’ll be out of commission for several months so her grandson has taken time off to come & help. He’s also hoping to convince her that the Inn is too much for her & it would be best to sell. Logan wasn’t expecting to see a young girl wandering the halls of the inn or her mother in the kitchen.

This was kinda cute especially the antics of Pipers young daughter. She is a sweetheart and it was so funny when she first meets Logan and tells her mom she has seen a giant!

Lovely Christmas story! I enjoyed the book so much. The characters are very likable and I was so happy that they found each other. I love stories with a spunky older characters, and their is definitely one in this book (plus her friends) so that is a big plus for me. Also an adorable little girl with no filters in her speech makes for fun reading.

I write the same kind of romances I like to read – stories about characters facing real-life challenges with real-life consequences. The stories are emotional, but still have humor, and love always finds a way to pull the characters through together.
