Randomly picked this one off the shelf in the college library, and it became one of my all-time favorite books. Gellner has such clear sight and a clear style in presenting and working through central problems of philosophy, and not as an abstract academic game but as a set of real problems faced by people trying to get by in an (apparently) material universe as (apparently) spiritual beings.
