Once upon a time, there lived a witch. A kickass, brilliant, dope as hell witch whose magicks inspired fear and envy. Like all classic fairy tales, her story had the usual goodies.

Destiny.

Adventure.

Missing souls.

Unfathomable evil, the precarious fate of the entire universe, blah, blah, blah.

But let’s get back to that witch with the awesome hair…

Fine, it’s me. I’m the

the four layla frost

Stoned is book two in The Four series by Layla Frost. I fell in love with the first book in this series, Styx, which was Denny and Nate’s story. In it we met Juno, the crazy witch who became Denny’s friend and tried to help her. I have been so looking forward to her story and it did not disappoint. This book was fun, sexy, and yes, suspenseful.

Mindy Lou's Book Review
This author's humor kills me every time. I find her books fun to read and I always end up adoring her heroines. Stoned is another one to add to my list. I would suggest reading book one first. While this is based off a different couple, the overall story is continued. Plus you get to meet Juno and all her awesomeness in the first book as well.

The reason I think Juno is so awesome is because she's funny and quirky but also very fierce. Don't mess with anyone she cares about or she'll go all mama

I loved everything about this story! Filled with humor, some mystery, plenty of uncertainty regarding Juno’s magicks abilities, and enough steam to burn your fingerprints off where you’re holding your ereader, it was one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read in a long while.

The meeting between Juno and Stellan was perfectly imperfect and led to so many mixed feelings within both of them. It set me up for a fun read as I watched them both struggle with what they were feeling and then yielding to

War comes in all shapes and sizes

It’s kind of hard to take Death and War seriously when I’m completely distracted by cotton candy, porno comics and hot cops. I guess you could say that Layla Frost brings comedic elements to the end of the world. Not that Layla’s not taking the end of the world seriously, it’s just that it’s hard to take it all as doom and gloom when you’re chuckling or distracted by candy, porno and hot cops. Stoned takes us back to the candy store where one slightly stoned witc

I enjoyed this one WAY more than I did book one. It was better paced, and I enjoyed the romance and the storyline more. I SO want Levi (Satan) to get a book of his own!

5 ‘ Their Reward’ Stars

O.M.F.G!!! Just when I thought the first book, Styx, couldn’t be matched in its awesomeness, here comes Ms. Frost raising up the stakes with Stoned! This dirty minded pixie and her filthy mouthed detective will ROCK YOUR WORLD!

Again I’ll keep this review as non spoilerish as possible, because this series is all about the RIDE.

We met Juno, our now leading lady – she would so snort at being called that, btw – in the previous book, and could already anticipate just how rich a

Once again Ms. Frost has blown my mind. Not only am I loving this overarching plot she’s weaving together with angels, demons, and magicks galore, I bounced through a range of emotions including lots of hilarity and a heavy dose of sadness. Oh, and it was sexy as hell.

Juno was freaking hilarious. I never knew what was going to come out of her mouth just that it was more than likely going to be funny. And she was kickass to boot, even if she did go a little wonky there for a bit.

As for Stellan, i

MUST READ ALERT 💜💜💜

Just finished at 1am and it was FANFUCKINGTASTIC!!! The kind of book that leaves you smiling like a loon and grateful you found her words.

This series of stories are some of the most original I have EVER read. Magicks, Mayhem and Men that make your panties go poof! Gone!

Cannot recommend them enough.

Juno & Stellan are what I love about smart romance writing. Kick ass heroine, hilarious dialogue, chemistry to melt your kindle and just the right dash of sweet!

Trust me when

Good second book, but the story continues...

Good continuation to the series, though the first book has to be read first. This story is of Juno and Stellan who are each other's other half. The ARC isn't done, but at least Juno and Stellan have found each other.

So I had this entire in depth review written and then when I went to save it....*poof* Gone. Frustrating, but here is all you need to know about my feelings about this book. I. LOVED. IT. As other reviewers have mentioned, STYX really needs to be read first to fully appreciate STONED.

Layla Frost has yet to write a book that I don't adore and re-read multiple times because she has an absolute gift for writing great heroines and heroes that you just wished with every fiber of your being were real.

Everything she releases is GOLD! Solid GOLD!

Every single time I think Layla Frost can't do any better or surprise me as a reader..

It should be noted that Stoned is the second book of The Four Series and you should definitely read Styx to know what is going on.

From a super unique and original plot to the amazing characterization, Stoned surpassed whatever I had in mind. This couple just may be my favorite so far. Juno & Stellan are characters that will stay with you long after you read. Th

4-4.25 stars. This book was really good! Stoned is book two in the paranormal romance series, The Four. Stoned is Juno's story. We met Juno in Styx, as she is a witch who helped Denny and Nate and befriended them. When bad things keep happening to Juno, including her store being blown up, she meets hot cop Stellan. They are drawn to each other and have immediate chemistry. He wants to protect her and together they work to figure out what magic is at play that wants to harm Juno.

Excuse you, Layla Frost, you absolute word wizard!!I was sucked in from word one and I don't think my feet touched the floor until I was finished. I don't want to give away the plot, it's better to go in blind. Suffice to say it's a fantastic story and continues on from book one.
I loved the humor of this book and it has epic one-liners. Plus, I got to see my book-one bae again!

I seriously feel like Olaf with my “oh, I love it even MORE now” feelings about this series (blame motherhood for the Disney reference there). Juno and Stellan are absolutely fabulous and are the perfect mates for each other. The Four series continues with their story...and it’s a doozy.

Juno and her brother, Nate, are now united and are trying to find the other two important members of The Four, but Juno needs to figure out her own fate and soulmate-predicament first. She can’t help how she’s d

Love her humor and sarcasm and wit. She had me grinning and laughing a lot.
Stellan..the dirty mouth protective and possessive detective. He was perfect for Juno.
It’s recommended to read Styx (The Four book 1) first before reading Stoned because even though it’s about a different couple it’s a continuation.

I am in LOVE with this amazing story. I wish they were real so I could hang out with them!!!

I've been waiting for Stoned since I finished Styx by this author and let me tell you - WORTH. THE. WAIT!!!

I laughed so hard I cried at some points. Juno is a trip and Stellan is PERFECT for her! This was the perfect PNR Romance and definitely one of my new favorites of this year so far!

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this awesome story!!!

Mmmmk. Yeah....wow....😳....Nope. Still don’t have words to do Stoned justice. (244423567 hours later after finishing.) Juno and Stellan are perfect counterparts for the other. Soulmates. Their connection was out of this...literally. This is DEFINITELY a must read. 😍 I NEED MORE....NOW.

Holy. Freaking. Cow.

After Styx completely blew me away, I was both super excited and trying to keep my expectations in check before starting Stoned. I really shouldn’t have bothered because it was so, so good!

I won’t go into specifics of the story because just as with the previous book, there’s a lot of mystery and suspense going on (although we’re not as blind as with that one) and I don’t want to spoil the surprises for anyone.

Let me start by saying Stoned is a safe read; no OW/OM drama. <—- for all you safety readers out there. I do recommend reading the first book in this series first, Stoned. It’s about a different couple but the beginning to what’s going on in this book.
This is a story of Juno, a store owner who also happens to be a very powerful witch. I love Juno’s character, she’s hilarious and quirky. Her soulmate, Stellan is the complete opposite of her. He’s a rule following police officer. He feels the

I absolutely love the chemistry between Stellan and Juno. Not only is it scorching HAWT but it's funny as hell. He gets her nutty humor and finds her special powers sexy...this is an alpha male who is NOT threatened by a powerful woman. You can read this as a stand alone if you must, but it's so much better having read Styx first. And besides, you don't want to miss Denny and Nate's story...they feature prominently in Stoned and their story is just as swoony and wonderful as Stellan and Juno's. ...more

It's all crafted so very well, I don't want the stories to stop!

Layla Frost is swiftly becoming a go to author for me when I need smoking hot romance that makes me laugh. Stoned was everything that I hoped for and more. Juno is smart and talented, so much so that they should be her middle names. What really got me though, was the vulnerability underneath that got to me. Stellan is everything hot and I loved how he accepts her for the awesome chick she is. The two of them together is perfection, they are complete. You see it in every moment once they meet, th ...more

Juno is wild and beautiful. She is very powerful and is the first to kick ass and take names. When she finally meets her "other half" she doesn't expect it to be the straight-laced, sexy as sin detective staring at her. Will he want her and all her wildness? And what happens when he finds out who she really is?

WOW! WOW! WOW! I am utterly blown away by this book! I am so addicted to this series and Juno and Stellan's story did not disappoint! My emotions went on one heck of a rollercoaster ride.

I have been sitting here, staring at my computer, willing the words to write this review and nothing. It's been hours, folks. But I've gotta start somewhere, even though I'm certain my words will not do Juno's story justice. You see, this book pushed some boundaries for me. When it comes to books, I'm pretty open minded. However, I know what tropes I like, I know what my few triggers are, and all that jazz. But when a one-click author comes out with a series that is not one of your top anythings ...more

I was taken completely by surprise when I started reading this series. I’m not a huge reader of PNR and so didn’t know what to expect. I enjoyed book one, Styx, but I absolutely loved Stoned. I will admit to being a little confused at the beginning and had to refer back to book one to get my bearings. I appreciate that Stoned picks up where Styx left off, but a little catch up at the beginning I think would have helped. FYI...I don’t hand out five star ratings until I’ve read the book more than once....so my 4 star reviews mean I loved the book and would actually consider reading it again and would = most people’s 5 star rating.

If you have not read Styx you need to go do that RIGHT NOW. Whatever you do, DO NOT read these out of order. Reading this one first would ruin the first book and you would start out completely lost. Save yourself the trouble, you will thank me in the end.

Layla Frost has always been a rebel. A true badass.

Growing up, Layla used to hide under her blanket with a flashlight to read the Sweet Valley High books she pilfered from her older sister. It wasn’t long before she was reading hidden Harlequins during class at school. This snowballed into pulling all-nighters after the promise of “just one more chapter”.

Her love of reading, especially the romance
