#LovePranks #2

Pranked by Love

Rate this book
Two households, both alike in dignity... hit a serious snag in their ongoing prank war last semester.

The Blossoms of #246 and the Dudes of #247 each lost a member to flippin' Love. (Insert eye-roll here.)

The lovebirds/turncoats now plan to move out of their houses and in with each other. But true prankster talents like Kitty are few and far between, so the remaining Blossoms are going to make damn sure there's no shacking up before Kitty has the perfect replacement for herself.

The Blossoms and the Dudes agree on very little, but everyone agrees on this: there can be no more pranks-turned-lovers between the two arch-fratenemy houses.
Yep, everyone agrees.
Almost everyone.

Where was this fun when I was in college?!

As I said in my review of book 1, I am not a RomCom person. I like my books broody and angsty and slow-burning and emotional.

But.

The characters in this series are just so fun to read! They are each so unique and each adds their je ne sais quoi to the mix creating a perfect balance.

I think Saki might be my favorite. She is "the brain" and routinely gave "fun facts" during her inner monologues. She is also apparently of a mixed heritage, and that added something special to the story too.

Picasso is more reserved than his brethren, and I rather liked that. He obviously likes Sake, has for some time, and it's absolutely adorable, the gestures he shows her. Well, except the very first one that he wrapped...Lol! Oy...

Sunniva REALLY hit it out of the park with the chemistry between this couple. Picasso gave me SO many "AWWW!" moments. So. Many. He is absolutely PERFECT.

And the big mystery that had BOTH houses on edge kept me GLUED to the pages. I thought I knew the answer, but then I wasn't so sure, and I couldn't put it down until I KNEW. But then, something happened with Saki and Picasso, so I had to keep reading until I saw how that played out...I read this for a loooooong time and LOVED every minute.

This is book 2 in this series, focusing on a different couple, and while I don't know that it's 100% necessary to have read book 1, I would honestly say it's 80% necessary if you want to get the whole picture of the dynamic between the Blossoms and the Dudes, their pranks, etc.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!!

(I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)

Hilarious, heartfelt, and hot, this book is the perfect follow-up to its bestselling predecessor. Saki and “Picasso’s" forbidden love story is a work of art that’d make our scorching hot artist proud. Not gonna lie, Picasso was the “Dude” who caught my attention in book one. I loved getting to know this new steamy couple, all while spending time with the other Dudes and Blossoms who are quickly becoming the fun, loyal friends we all wish we had.

Five delicious Picasso stars!!

I loved the first book to this series and was so excited to get another pranking couple to read. I think I might have even liked this book a little more. Sunniva’s humor is so much like my own, subtle. Goofy, and dry. I smile as I’m reading shaking my head at the silliness of it.

The pranking in this book isn’t as much in the first, but the ones they do are just as good. This book revolves more around the new pair trying to make something work. Or I should say Picasso is trying his damn hardest to make it work with Saki. Saki is reluctant and scared, but the pull she has towards Picasso is undeniable. They start sneaking around and provide us such a sensual, sexy reading experience, seriously Picasso and Saki are one HOT couple.

Quickly their lust and passion for one another turn into a lot more and they need to try to figure out how to make it work when they are supposed to be “enemies.”

“I nuzzle his neck like we’re boyfriend and girlfriend, not arch frat-enemies from opposite houses.”

Picasso and Saki have this connection that you can feel as you read; it gives you butterflies in your stomach while you're reading their chemistry. I read a lot, and I read a lot of romance, it’s hard to get that giddy feeling in my belly anymore, but Picasso and Saki did it for me!

“I don’t love you because you looked at me the most. It’s just that…I always feel you across the room wherever you are. It’s like we’ve got a magnetic chip each, and they pull us together.”
I wanted it to work out so bad for the two of them, but someone had a different idea and is bound and determined to destroy their relationship as well as the frenemy relationship between the Dudes and the Blossoms. Whoever it is has them questioning everyone even the closest of friends. It makes for a very hostile and tense situation.

I was trying to figure out “who did it” the whole time and every time I thought I had it Sunniva threw me off. This is a definite must-read for RomCom lovers; I recommend starting with the first book to get to know the Dudes and the Blossoms!

5 Cranky Stars

Saki Marshall thinks in statistics. It’s the basis for all her conversations. She lives by numbers and theories. When she gets that far off look in her eyes, she either thinking about statistics and the one and only Orion Theo Alexander. She knows that a relationship between a Blossom and a Dude is frowned upon but a romp in the sheets isn’t long as it’s one and done. Sadly, it’s more to them than that. This isnt also the only threat rocking Saki’s world it’s the new Blossom in the house who has a rather creepy obsession with Saki. There is a threat looming around them and the Dudes and they must get to the bottom of it.

Orion Theo Alexander AKA Picasso sees the world in color. He paints what he feels and what he deems beautiful and that is Saki Marshall. He doesn’t want to hide his love for her but can’t seem to get her to come around. One sexy middle of the night climb through a window turns into more. They give each other shy smiles and clandestine touches when they pass each other. Orion loves Saki. Always has and always will even when she unknowingly breaks his heart in an elaborate prank that plays across the whole book. It’s not a prank done by the Blossoms or the Dudes but it is someone on the inside.

The last half of this book made me sit up straight like that would help me solve this mystery. I mean I had a good idea who it was but come on that sneaky rat. My heart broke for Saki and Orion in that moment too.

This book was slightly different than book one in that it had more mystery more of a who done it. The Dudes and the Blossoms do once again work together proving that maybe they aren’t such mortal enemies as they’d like to be. Also let me say Saki and Orion can burn up some sheets! Phew!! This series is becoming another favorite of mine by this author. Their pranks are a little elaborate and farfetched but that’s what makes it funny. I can’t wait to see who the next couple is!!

Sunniva Dee is the Mistress of everything. Whether she’s writing dark, angst, taboo or weird, off ball, comedic, rom-com. She truly does it all and she does it well.

I have been a longtime lover of Sunniva’s work and her ‘Pranked’ series is another hit. Her characters that she has written are unique with full personalities and storylines.

Pranked by Love is about Picasso and Saki, primarily, but we do get to read about some of our other favorites. One thing Sunniva does well, is bringing together the dichotomies of two individuals and make them ‘fit’. Saki is the genius who thinks in statistics and is the brain of the group. By getting a chance to read about her inner dialogue, we are also privy to another side of her personality, the ‘fun facts’ flowing through her brain.

Picasso, on the other hand, is the more creative and reserved one. He has also fiercely loved Saki for a while but has had a difficult time in getting her to admit her feelings to him. Love is not the only thing displayed over the course of the pages. There is a mystery brewing for the Blossoms and the Dudes, but questions fly as to who it could be.

I was laughing, crying, whispering ‘no way’ and ‘who is it’, but I have never read such an enjoyably funny book and the bonus is there are more books to come. Now, my mystery is figuring out who the next book is about!

Hell Yeah!! This is another Fabulously, Funny, heartwarming read from Sunniva Dee.
There is a very fine line between Love and a prankster war, the rules have been been broken once. But Saki and Picasso are another couple to cross that line, But canoodling with the enemy is so wrong, but God damn it feels so so right. So Saki and Picasso need to keep their feelings for one another a secret from their frat brothers and sisters. With an attraction that is undeniable, they seem like opposites Saki is all data and numbers, Picasso an artistic type but it is obvious they are just a perfect combination together. I absolutely Loved reading their budding romance, the characters in these books are so lovable I could read about them forever and never once get bored. They are feel good stories, that are hard to forget, as you will be smiling and laughing all the way through,at their hilarious shenanigans and with an extra dose of Mystery I guarantee everyone will enjoy this steamy, sweet, delightful pranked by love Romance.

I didn't had a chance to read the first book and let me tell you something...I am going to read it right away!
So, I needed something to lift me up un my mood and this book did it, I even laughed and snorted while reading. Do I need to say that I was hooked and couldn't leave the book until I finished it?
I am not going to talk about what is going on, I will just say that the story is good, cute, characters are well written and adorable I loved the chemistry between them, even the Saki's inner monologues are great. All in all I love this book and this series is so fun and enjoyable to read

This story is hilarious. I laughed so hard my chest hurt and tears were streaming down my face.
This is Saki Marshall and Picasso's story. Of course there is hilarious pranks that are never ending.
What happens when a rat comes around ? So many questions and people start wondering who is the rat? What happens with Saki and Picasso when things go to far?
Will the pranks continue or will they leave each other alone?
You will be laughing out loud with this book. I was.

Another hit out of the park! I think I enjoyed Saki’s story much more than Kitty’s. Poor Saki spent so much time in denial... And I loved Picasso! But who wouldn’t love a painter. He was sensitive, had a great sense of humor, talented, and loyal.

I’ve never been a fan of RomComs—hadn’t ready many. If you’re like me, Sunniva Dee’s series will change your mind! The characters reminded me of some of the types I met back in college. And the story line, although lighthearted, kept me turning the pages.

Can’t wait for the next couple. I’m hoping for Guns and Seraphina!

I give this 4.5.
This story made me swoon and had me laughing. I love Picasso. Saki and Picasso's forbidden love story was a work of art. This had funny pranks in my opinion the girls were better in this book, there is a traitor in the mix trying to take the Dudes down and the hottest, sweetest forbidden love story. I think the stories just keep getting better. Can't wait to read Queen B and Gun's story.

This is such a fun book to read. Saki is funny. I like her inner dialogues and Picasso...ha! To die for.

Artists are such romantics and there are a couple of romantic gestures in this book that got my cynical heart swooning.

I am looking forward to the other couples though especially Tilda & Doc 😂

This is the 2nd book in the series. You should read book #1, Love By Pranks prior. Just so you have a understanding of the characters. But, you can read this as a stand-alone as the characters are explained pretty well.

In this book in the boy frat house #247, we have Picasso - Orion Théo Alexander. He is a fine arts painting major. His work sounds beautiful.

On the #246, Blossom side we have Saki. She sounds beautiful.

Both houses are still pranking each other. Picasso and Saki have always been looking at each other from across the room, but have never done anything to move on this relationship. Except one day. Saki wasn’t sure about Picasso, she’s always thought he was more of a player than a one woman man. Of course Picasso and Saki are trying to keep this new relationship on the down low.

There seems to be a mole in either the frat house or at the Blossom house. Someone is leaking the pranks to the university newspaper no one knows who the mole maybe. Both houses interview their own people. The frat boys and who is more of the leader of the Blossoms do believe the leak is from the Blossoms, but who could it be?

Picasso admits to Saki he loves her. He wants to be with her. Saki wants to be with him also. But with their houses at war neither are sure how they can be together. They continue to sneak around. But, they have been on a few dates alone in public with each other.

Will Picasso stay true to Saki? Will the mole out them to their houses before they know what they want with this relationship? What will the leaders of the houses do when they find out they have another boy / girl couple?

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving a honest review.

The second installment of this series is much more intense than the first one. Besides, being funny, it's romantic, thrilling and full of suspense and surprises. The pranks between the Dudes and the Blossoms are taken to a different level.

Saki is a Blossom who lives by statistics. She is clever and mischievous.

Orion/Picasso is an Art student who lives his life to the full. He is also very talented at many things. He is pretty good with his hands!

The Dudes and Blossoms can have one night stands with each other, but no more. It's one of the house rules. Orion has set his sight on Saki and not much can deter him. Even the strict rules! After a moonlight visit, Orion and Saki don't stop there, their secret "impromptu" meetings get more and more frequent. Their love starts to blossom until Saki is set up and their relationship comes to a halt. Will Orion ever be able to get over what's happened and give Saki a break?

The fist part of this story is a gradual build up to the compulsive second part. The traitor has succeeded in setting doubts among the Blossoms and between the Blossoms and the Dudes. Things don't look good and what's happening could come between Orion and Saki forever. The heat is on.

I really like the caring side of Orion as well as all his other "talents". Even though Saki has a competitive streak, she is sweet and loyal to her cause. She sticks her neck out to corner the traitor and salvage what the two houses live for. Once I got to the dramatic part of this book, I was unable to put it down. It's a compelling read.

I was kindly issued with an eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

As much as I loved the first one, this one to me is even better. There are a Couple of reasons I feel this way. For one, the plot is simpler with less going on. It focused on one major story with two small side stories and it allowed me to invest quicker. Secondly, Orion Theo "Picasso" Alexander, the most chill, romantic guy who chipped away at Saki's heavy emotional wall. There are some beautiful dialogue where you can't help but fall head over paints.

“I’ll tell you again, then. I’m in love with you. I dream about you when you’re not in my bed . Hell, I dream about you when you’re in my bed. Sweetest, if you feel anything remotely similar to what I’ve got going on in here”— he thumps over his heart with a closed fist—“ there’s no other choice than to be together.” -Picasso

Poetry it's not, but man it's romantic! This man is very different from Lucian in the previous book. You can't help but fall for Picasso hard...his heart and emotions are on his sleeve. He's so patient with Saki, who is closed off with a huge wall of emotions separating them. He gently works her with the finesse of a brilliant artist, and it's both hot and romantic. Saki is hard to love, but I get it. She's just not one to jump in head first and lives in a bit of denial. It safeguards her heart that way.

I love how the plot device to have them work together (sort of) is used again but in a very unique way. The pranks are harder, cringeworthy and utterly hilarious. This book is the most fun I've had in a long time. Here's for bigger pranks and outrageous love in book 3

As of this current moment Pranked by Love is my favorite book by this author. There were times I laughed so hard. There were times that I just awed, and there were times when I got mad. I just couldn't put this book down. I read the first book in this series and while I enjoyed that one I loved this one even more. There was so much depth to both Saki and Picasso, or Oren Theo Alexander. I loved how he loved her so fiercely. I loved when she admitted her love as well, even though she was scared. The never ending drama kept me guessing as to what was coming next. And lets not forget about the pranks. They were out of this world hilarious, especially the semen prank!!! This book was great and I loved the little hints of future books. Can't wait for the next couple and to see what pranks they come up with next!! *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

I will be honest, I had a few reservations going into book two of this series. After all, what seemed fresh, fun and charming the first time around can and often does lose some of it's shine the second time around. However, I am delighted to say that the author did an amazing job of not only bringing back everything that made the first book so enjoyable (heat, heart & humor), but added a hefty dose of mystery to keep things fresh. I do recommend that you read book one first. This book is Saki and Picasso's story. I really liked these two. Opposites attract and that is certainly true of this couple. I found Picasso incredibly swoon worthy and in my opinion Saki was a very lucky girl. With the angst and forbidden element of these two being on opposing side of this on-going prank war, hot & steamy scenes, drama, mystery, suspense and sweet emotions, this book will have you laughing out loud as your heart melts. This is my independent, impartial review.

OMG!!!
You have to read this story because your face will hurt with so much laughter!
Although the first book was different, this book is more concentrated in the big evil Prank that goes between the Dudes and The Blossoms and that there is an inside rat it makes it more interesting because everyone is aware of it but also live their life like nothing happened.
Saki is smart and somehow obviously unaware of the attraction that Orion Theo ( gotta love these names as they are very unique )has for her.
A love story full of sweet moments, great banter and sexy scenes where the chemistry between the main characters is of the charts as usual and the drama and all the suspenseful moments will keep you glued to your kindle because this is yet again a wonderful story that everyone needs to read.

Sunniva Dee has done it again. Not sure I’ve stopped laughing since finishing Pranked By Love. This author knows her way around many tropes and romantic comedy is definitely one of them.

The Blossoms and the Dudes prank war is fierce. College would have been a lot more fun if these shenanigans were going on around campus. The action didn’t stop and I was thoroughly entertained the entire time. Page after page, I couldn’t stop giggling over her ridiculous nicknames or revenge schemes or whatever loopy idea these characters cooked up.

In the mix of it all, Saki and Picasso cannot deny their heated attraction. They’re so hot! Try as they might, these two are drawn together. It’s an extremely hilarious trek down lover’s lane.

If you’re looking for a feel good, laugh out loud read, make sure to pick this one up. So great!

This book was so-o-o entertaining. It involves a fraternity house that is across the street from a non-sorority sisters' house. The fraternity is Iota and they are referred to as "The Dudes". The ladies across the street are known as the "Blossoms" with newbies known as Veranda Girls. The main 5 Dudes are hot (and they know it) with their own individual personalities, eccentricities and different majors, just as the base 5 of the blossoms are. These 2 houses live for pranking each other and see who can out prank the other. One of the Dudes and a Blossom have fallen in love and are moving into their own place...one house down (The Johnsons). It is supposed to be an unwritten rule that these two houses do not fall in love with each other. Rules are made to be broken. A new prospect has been invited to possibly move in but she seems a little shaky (suspicious to me) at first. There are pranks, plot twists, red herrings, laughter, love and some great scenes in this book. I loved it!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Hot on the heels of Love by Pranks Sunniva Dee give us the delights and giggles of Pranked by Love the second book in her funny and heart-warming Love pranks series. This time we get to witness pranksters Saki and Picasso as they attempt not to let the other Dudes and the Blossoms know they have feelings for each other.

Saki and Picasso were great characters, and I did have a soft spot for Picasso, or as he is also known as Oren Theo Alexander, he was a sweetheart who truly adored Saki.

As expected there were some great pranks, some funny, some crazy and some a little gross. The drama and the added mystery keep the story interesting which I liked. Looking forward to the next book in the series and seeing what other hilarious pranks Sunniva has in store for us.

If you enjoy the first book, I’m sure you will enjoy this one.

Pranked By Love was slightly different than Book One in the sense that it had more mystery and a whodunnit plot twist. The Dudes and the Blossoms once again work together proving that maybe they aren’t such mortal enemies as they would like to be. The second installment of this series is more intense than the first one. Besides being laugh out loud funny; it's romantic, and full of suspense and surprises. The pranks between the Dudes and the Blossoms are taken to a whole different level.

This fun romcom has everything from hilarious pranks to sizzling attraction and even a side twist of mystery. You can't help but be captivated with Sunniva Dee's unique and amazing writing skills that not only draw you in, but hooks you from the moment you begin until the last page.

I do believe this rom-com follow-up to Love by Pranks is even more captivating, more engaging, more steamy and dare I say, more humorous? Is that even possible? YES, YES, YES!!! Pranked by Love, Book 2, is a crazy, fun, keep-you-guessing and laughing-out-loud tour-de-force offering from the super-talented Sunniva Dee. All the zany characters you loved from Book 1 are back and ready to prank. Saki and the ever-swoon-worthy Picasso are the couple front and center this time around, but there are other twists and turns happening too! Pranked by Love held me hostage from start to finish. I loved this book as much as, maybe a tad more than, Book 1. Do not miss this MUST-READ second book in the Love by Pranks Series. Well done, Sunniva Dee, well done!

Saki is a logical thinker but there is nothing logical about her feelings for Orion. They are on opposite sides when it comes to the Battle of the Pranks and with one couple already causing changes within the two houses no one wants to see the situation repeated but what was supposed to be a one night stand has become so much more.

Orion is a man with an artists soul and Saki brings light to his world. He loves her with his whole heart and wants to tell everyone about them but first he needs to convince Saki. When a prank becomes hurtful rather than funny and it causes a rift between these two lovers will they discover who the traitor is that lives amongst them before it is too late to repair the damage to their relationship?

This book still has the same humor and heat as the first book in the series, but the added emotion and mystery make it even better.

Before I started reading Pranked by Love, I was hoping it was Guns story but after reading I am so happy it wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong I still can’t wait for Seraphina and Guns but I absolutely love Saki and Picasso <3 You can’t help but fall in love with them. And while you fall in with them you get to read about all Pranks that they do. This book had me laughing so hard while swooning over Picasso. Saki is a sweet, statistics loving h and Picasso is just the man for her. I can’t wait to read the next one. And this might sound crazy but I hope you keep Guns and Serphina for last (it’s like a four course meal..... build it up until we get them)

This second in the series is a strong sequel to Love by Pranks (read that first to get the full benefit of this installment). As always from this author, both the character and the relationship development is wonderfully laid out on the page and really pulls the reader into the story.

This time, there is an extra element of light suspense thrown into the mix, which makes this distinct from book 1.

If I had one concern, it was that, to my mind at least, some of the "pranks" were borderline mean. However, that didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the story, which had some truly tender moments.

Another great passionate couple. The pranks were once again imaginative and funny. I really enjoyed that while it was again a story of a Blossom and a Dude falling in love Sunniva Dee found a unique way to tell their story and unite the two houses for a mutual purpose.
I loved Picasso and Saki, as individuals and a couple. I also liked getting to know the rest of the characters better as well as seeing the evolution of Lucian and Kittys relationship. There were some "easter egg" moments in the book about other characters I can't wait to see play out in future books!

I thoroughly enjoyed this visit back to the Blossoms and the Dudes and their ongoing prank war!

I was expecting a different couple, but actually I was really pleased that it was actually this pair! The Sexual tension between Picasso and Saki was intense. Picasso seems the most mature of the Dudes and oozes charisma, hey I'm a sucker for an artist what can I say!

The Blossoms have definitely upped their game with the pranks too, their first one in this story had me in stitches, the way they try to maintain poker faces too makes me laugh. If you like your romance heavy on the comedy and steam this one is right up your street!

Sunniva has done it again. Not that I would ever doubt her comedic genius, but few authors can make me laugh the way she does, or simply bring all the feels.

My college years were more than half a lifetime ago now, but Ms. Dee quickly takes me back there in this second book in this quirky series. I won't share any spoilers, but I was glad to find out that this book starred my favorite Dude as introduced in the first #LovePranks book. As with any Sunniva Dee book/series, you wouldn't have to have read the first book to enjoy this one fully - they can all easily be read as standalones - but why not treat yourself to all the fun? She is one of the most consistently great authors I have had the joy to come across, no matter what genre she is dipping into. You truly can't go wrong.
