McClain has written a beautiful Christmas love story about Holly Gibson searching for the father of her young niece left in her care after her sister’s death. She never expected to meet Cash, her niece’s father, or to find him so perfect for her.

Cash is shocked to find he has a young daughter, Penny, and even more shocked to find her Aunt so appealing.

Will scars from the past ruin their chance at happiness?

One thing is for sure, the town of Safe Haven is the perfect setting with a perfectly

If you want a book that will keep you entertained from start to finish and leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling, then Low Country Christmas by Lee Tobin McClain is the book for you. It’s book three in her Safe Haven series and tells the story of the final O’Dwyer brother, Cash. I haven’t read the previous books in the series, Low Country Hero and Low Country Dreams, but I plan to rectify that mistake.

Big city girl, Holly Gibson, travels to the small town of Safe Haven in search of her

This is yet another series where I just jumped in midway without reading the two previous books but I was totally fine starting here. The author does a great job at providing just enough background information so you’re not lost, although she did make me curious about the other two O’Dwyer brothers so I may be going back to the beginning at some point. This seems to be my preferred way to read a series, backwards with no rhyme or reason but it works for me!

I love the premise of this one, the

Review to come to my blog & I’m sharing my thoughts in a video coming to YT (probably on 11 Dec 19)
This is my first romance by this author and WOW she blew me away with her story telling. Don’t be fooled by the cute holiday cover, this book will put a heaviness in your chest. It’s tense. Don’t want to say too much here, but I really enjoyed it.

This is third in the series about the O’Dwyer brothers, this time featuring Cash. Cash is a wealthy businessman living in Atlanta, Georgia but with enough ties to Safe Haven, South Carolina that he maintains a place to live when he is in town. Just before Safe Haven’s annual Christmas tree lighting, Holly shows up at his apartment with her sister’s young baby, claiming that the baby is his after he spent a week with her sister a while back. Cash has a hard time believing that baby Penny can ...more

Three stars: A good women’s fiction story, but a few holiday mentions doesn’t make it a Christmas book.

Holly isn’t sure what to expect from Cash O’Dwyer, but she needs his help. Holly is now the caretaker for her young niece after her sister unexpectedly died. The father is presumably Cash O’Dwyer, a wealth bachelor. Cash is polite upon first meeting and then taken aback when Holly tells him he is the father. Cash is certain this is just another young woman trying go trap him. He doesn’t have

After finishing this series I am a die-hard Lee Tobin McClain fan! What an incredible introduction to this author's storytelling capabilities. And Low Country Christmas (eeeeppp over that cover!) is the emotionally sucker-punched, stand-up-and-cheer grand finale! It can totally be read as a standalone BUT if you've been following secondary character Rita's story this one will knock your socks off.

Of all the O'Dwyer brothers I have to admit that I was bedazzled by Cash the most. The successful

All her life, it’s been only Holly and her sister Tiffany, with a mother who was, at best, inadequate. But when Tiffany dies, Holly is truly alone, except for her tiny niece, Penny, who Tiffany entrusted into Molly’s care. Fulfilling Tiffany's last wishes, Holly goes to the small beach community of Safe Haven to find Cash O'Dwyer and introduce him to his daughter. For as little as Holly knows about being part of a family, Cash believes he's a carbon copy of his worthless father and thinks he has ...more

Unfortunately this book didn’t engage me as much as I hoped. This is probably for a few reasons. Holly arrives in Safe Haven, with her late sister’s daughter. She is seeking out Cash, the father of this child, from a weeklong fling her sister had with him. This was such a strange basis for a relationship between the two of them that I never fully connected with the characters. I’m also not entirely sure I’d categorize this one as a romance, and that is what I went in expecting. This one seemed ...more

This is a real cute read. It melt my heart .
I felt like I was watching one of those Romance Christmas from Hallmark movies.

What a beautiful wonderful amazing read.

What a great read! This had me hooked from the beginning. The sitting, theme, and the Characters had me pulled so in. Everything was well put together and it was just perfect. This novel did just that to me.

Low Country Christmas is the third book in Lee Tobin McClain's Safe Haven series. Because the author put enough background information in the book, this book could be read without having read the other books first. However all the characters are great as is the whole series. I think readers would want to read all the books in order to truly enjoy the series. I received a copy of this book from the author but was not required to review it. My opinion is my own.

Thanks to Kensington and NetGalley for an E-galley in exchange for my honest review.
At first glance Cash O’Dwyer seems to have everything. He has a successful career and a great relationship with his brothers and their families. That has always been good enough until the day he finds out he has a daughter. That’s a game changer he hadn’t expected. What will he do now that life has thrown a curve ball?

This is a story about figuring out what’s important and why. As in the previous novels in the

Cash the millionaire finally gets his story!
The most charming O’Dwyer brother of all…
Everyone loves Cash O’Dwyer. He’s wealthy, generous, and confident… EXCEPT about his ability to form close relationships. Outside of family, he doesn’t do it, period.
Cash comes home to Safe Haven for a brief visit, but when a beautiful woman shows up with a child she says is his, he has no choice but to stay. He doesn’t expect to fall in love. But in the low country at

I give this book five stars because Lee’s writing is engaging, and the story is contemporary and believable as are the characters.

Lee Tobin McClain has penned a lovely story with Low Country Christmas: A Safe Haven Novel, her third book in the sweet romance series set in the fictional town of Safe Haven, South Carolina. Having read books one and two, Low Country Hero and Low Country Dreams, book three is satisfying and rewarding as the stories of the entire cast of characters are brought full

Holly Gibson had a good life in New York City. She loved her job and all the amenities the Big Apple has to offer. Then her sister dies and leaves Holly with her one-year-old niece Penny and a mission to find Penny's father to let him know he has a daughter. Holly travels to the small town of Safe Haven, SC to find Cash O'Dwyer. 2.5 rounding to 3. I am on a streak of good Christmas books but this one wasn't necessarily a high point for me. I enjoyed the female main character of Holly enough as her heart was in the right place and I saw a lot of myself in her as someone who struggles to take help when given and is independent to a fault. The male character, Cash, on the other hand drove me nuts. I felt like he was so immature and bratty about a lot, not necessarily recognizing that he could be resented for his rich boy ...more

Holly made her way to safe haven to find the father of her niece. This isn't the first time someone has claimed that he fathered a child only for it to turn out false and his history has made Cash wry of her claims. But after finding out there is truth to it he wants to be in his child's life. Holly is independent and refuses help but child support can help the baby. This christmas holiday is about to get plenty complicated.

Finally come across a book with some christmasy things going on! I

I give this book 5 stars for a wonderful story!
Lee is an excellent author that can write a good story and can keep her readers engaged from beginning to end. I love that about her.
The plot of the story is wonderful too!
Christmas is my favorite time of the holiday!
I think what I love most about this book is how she can bring a character to Safe Haven out of the blue.

Cash O'Dwyer is the last of the 3 O'Dwyer brothers that is still single, and he likes it that way. Growing up with an abusive father, and a mother who supposedly deserted them, he feels that he's not cut out to be a dad, but can be a great uncle to his brothers' children. Then, Holly Gibson walks into his life, with baby Penny, claiming that Penny is his child, from a hookup he had with Holly's late sister, Tiffany. At first, Cash thinks she's lying, and only after his, well, cash. However, a ...more

This was my first "Safe Haven" book that I've read and I really enjoyed it! Clean romance with sweet characters, great engaging story line, and full of holiday cheer.

I really liked Holly and Cash as the main characters, and as they worked past their first impressions of each other for the sake of baby Penny. I felt overwhelmed for Holly's sake as she got bombarded by Cash's family and friends, especially when they expected her to embrace them immediately and let them babysit baby Penny. It took

I have loved this Safe Haven Series. It followed three brothers who were dropped off as kids in this small, quaint town where everyone knows everyone and cares about their neighbors. As they grow up and form relationships, we see them emerge as beloved citizens of the Safe Haven community. Cash O'Dwyer was the third brother to have his story fleshed out. When an unexpected result from a past relationship shows up, he must think about his priorities and make the right decisions. He may even find ...more

A new author for me and I loved the story of Holly and Cash! After a rough childhood, Cash doesn't envision a happy ever after as father and husband, even though his two brothers have it all. As a millionaire he has a jaded look at women and narriage, it seems all that attracts them is his money.

Holly is different and she works hard to be independent. She just wants to ensure her niece Penny has contact and builds a relationship with her dad, who turns out to be Cash. The relationship develops

This is the third book in the Safe Haven series, and it’s a great conclusion to the trilogy of the O’Dwyer brothers. Holly and Cash both had dysfunctional childhoods, and they are both independent, keeping themselves distant from others, hesitant to get too involved. However, when they meet, they both feel the pull of attraction and the feelings of maybe wanting that love and family connection despite their fears and concerns. What a wonderful Christmas romance to add to my Christmas reading this year!
I truly enjoyed reading this story of Holly and Cash. I excitedly turned page after page as surprising twists and turns made this Christmas romance so intriguing.
