Never a dull moment.

I found it hard to stop reading. Harrak is a really good story teller. Lots of twists and turns. Rarely a dull moment. Even though the main character, Frederick, has murderous tendencies and decides he wants to become an assassin, I found myself rooting for him.

I read lots of espionage books that are far more sophisticated with more plausible story lines than this one, but the simplicity worked for me.

I will say that the end was frustrating because it just stops in midstory

Intrigue from start to bottom.

Several surprises. Multiple development of characters intertwining with one another. Definitely leaves one looking forward to the next installment of Abel,s life.

What an awesome read! At first I was skeptical after the first three or four chapters but maaaan, what a roller Foster ride this turned out to be! The ending was shocking. I can not wait to read the next one!

Shelves: action
Intriguing book! A good action/suspense story. I really like getting to know Frederich, all the emotions he has and the battle between right and wrong. The story kept me captivated! Looking forward in discovering more of Frederich story and hoping the second book comes out soon!

this book was just ok for me I did not connect with the characters but could see how some may. It was not the worst book I have read but was not the best either just middle of the road for me.

Not a bad opening book

Slow development towards a plot, not much action but other books maybe better. Will probably try another book from this author.

Interesting Characters

Interesting book with characters that are not cookie cutter types found in most thrillers. It moved quickly and kept me interested
