Captured by a Dragon
3 Fierce Dragon Shifter Princes
3 Feisty, Curvy Best Friends who are
fated to fall in love with dragons.
If my two best friends hadn't dared me to go spelunking, I wouldn't have drunk too much celebratory champagne afterward, and I might not have fallen into a mysterious, dark tunnel in the back of a cave. In seconds, I'm sliding down, down, down, for a very long time. I somehow lose a few bits of clothing along the way. Major embarrassment! I shoot out of the tunnel, launch through a waterfall, and land in the lap of a gorgeous, muscular, naked guy. My...Well, you know, pressed against his...Well, you know. Talk about a compromising position!
One touch leads to another, and before I know it, I'm exploring a different compromising position with this hunky man. I'm falling for him fast, but there are a few odd things about him. He talks like he's old-fashioned. He calls me a surface dweller. And he insists I'm his destined mate. A dragon's destined mate.
Now, I have to decide if I want to escape his fiery embrace and return to the world above, or remain with him forever, deep in the center of the Earth.
Told from both the male and female point of view, the Dragon Mated Series features romantic dragon-shifter men, funny, curvy women, and plenty of on-the-page action. Quick reads, they can be savored in an afternoon, which means you won't need a month to finish them.
Expect overheated scenes, dragon-shifter men with intriguing features, danger from deadly, center-of-the Earth creatures, and a love story that concludes with a happily-ever-after.
Captured by A Dragon is the first book in the Dragon Mated Series. Each book is a complete story but should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.

I started reading and before I knew it, I read the whole darn thing! Well then of course I had to start on book #2. So, here I go again. I became so engrossed and before I knew it...BAM! I read the whole thing. Now I'm sad because I have to wait a few more days to get book #3.

This is the perfect fast, fun, flirty read! Hot dragon shifters, a funny, completely relatable heroine, and seriously sexy steam. Fabulous for whiling away a rainy afternoon.

I liked the story. The story dwells on dragons who has made the subterranean their home, away from the surface dwellers. This is the story of the first brother, I think I will explore the story of two remaining brothers.

Hot and Confusing
This book is short and enjoyable, although you do have to suspend A LOT of disbelief and overlook some major cringeworthy moments. Hey, it’s PNR, so we’re all prepared to do that to some extent.
The good:
Dragons 🔥
Hot sexy times
Humor
Minimal typos/grammar issues
The confusing/cringeworthy:
h is a kindergarten teacher, and uses “wa-dang” to mean vagina and “hoo-ha” to mean penis. Maybe this is just me, but I’ve always thought hoo-ha was a common euphemism for vagina.
I think the characters would be more likeable if we weren’t beat over the head with everything were supposed to know about them. The h is curvy, but I got tired of her constant inner dialogue about loving donuts and other food and hating excercise. This could have been relatable instead of annoying if it weren’t mentioned so frequently.
We’re also reminded a lot throughout the beginning of the book that male dragons live to please their mates sexually. Again, this could be a positive element if it weren’t mentioned so much.
The first time they have sex, the h mentions 15+ times (!!!) that she’s in a dream. (“This is the best dream ever,” etc.) We’re beat over the head with this as well. The H ignores these parts of her comments but thinks to himself, “If this was a dream, I sure as hell didn’t want it to end”. I was confused as to why he didn’t address her constant and sincere references to it being a dream although he knew it wasn’t.
He also doesn’t verbally question her 4+ comments about him being so much better than her “rubber alien” (sex toy). Mentioning this once would have been plenty, in my opinion.
When the H takes the h’s shirt off the first time, he says, “Hottest tits I’d seen in my life”. This struck me as odd since his culture has so few females and is so focused on mating. It seemed weird to me that he would’ve seen other tits before to the point that he immediately says that when seeing her. It seems like something a player would say. Maybe he had sex with unmated female dragon shifters?
Cringeworthy phrasing from 1st sex scene: “My hip bones spread as I sank down a little more” ... 🤔
The H often explains parts of his culture to the reader or the h by comparing it with her “surface dweller” culture. He seems to know a lot about her culture, but that’s strange since the dragons have been in hiding for ages... does he sometimes go to the surface? And, how does he know so much about them, but have no clue that couples sometimes separate/divorce there?
When the h is giving the H a blow job, here are her thoughts about swallowing: “Would he let me? Or would he pull out like some guys did, as if they were afraid coming in a girl’s mouth meant they bound themselves to her for life?” ... Has this EVER happened? Based on my experience, this seems improbable to the point of hilarity.
I also felt weird about the 3 times the H “tweaked” her G spot. I don’t know about that word choice.
I spent a while writing this review because I DO see potential in this series and this author. I will read the next book to see if some of my questions are answered. Overall, this is a short, entertaining read with some quirks

Jenny, PJ aka Pamela Jean, and Tanya all grew up as foster kids, lived in the same neighborhood and going to the same school. They had bonded on the playground in the third grade and had been best friends ever since. Through the years they thought about sharing an apartment since they spent most of their time together anyway always having fun. Until today, because Jenny now had her doubts. Being it was Tanya's birthday, she had convinced Jenny into doing what was suppose to be a small hike and beginner's caving with her and PJ. Did they not realize she was the least outdoorsy and adventurous type of the three even if she was a kindergarten teacher?
Dragon Royalty had been gifted three sons. The first son, Drek, became king and their parents retired to their ancestral home. The second, Jarik, ran the royal household and the third, Kemir, sought riches to enhance the kingdom. Tradition held that before a dragon could find and claim his mate, he must purify himself in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall down within the caves. Then the fist unwed woman to cross their path after the Lifegiver gave her blessing would be his mate.
This is the first of Christina Wilder's books I've read so I had no idea what to expect except I love dragon paranormal books and thought this sounded interesting. First of all, the story just flows because her characters have such personality that everything seems to fall into place with such normalcy and humor it's like you know them, like you're there. By chapter two I'm hooked and by chapter four I'm belly laughing at the circumstances and the logic to explain it. And the chemistry between these two is as big and all consuming as you'd expect from a dragon. This is going to be a fun, exciting, adventurous series and I want in on the ride.

For the most part I really liked this book and it's storyline. I realize this is a short story but it could have used a little more story build-up before the first love scene. Making out at first sight was just too rushed for me. They didn't even know anything about each other. Otherwise the storyline itself was rather interesting. It just felt like the love scenes were thrown in there to fill a space rather then building up to them as the characters came to care for each other. I did like the characters themselves and the setting was an interesting concept.

A fast, fun and sexy read, I thought this was a fun story with a strong sisterhood of friends and a plot that is building. Because the story is short, it was easy to read in one sitting, because the pace is so fast, of course, the intimacy was also fast, but I think it was handled in a fun way that I won't give away. I'm looking forward to reading the next friend's story and I hope it is also something that I can read in just a few hours, it gives me the impression that I've accomplished more things in a day this way, lol, so I don't feel bad about putting off the things that are waiting for me in reality.

This is a fun paranormal romance and I was hooked from the beginning. The connection between Jenny and Drek kept me reading and wanting to know what came next! The plot and characters are well developed, and the pace is relatively fast, which is appropriate for this type of story. Some twists and turns, ups and downs, humour, and witty banter added to the overall excitement of the story. Sex scenes are steamy and well written. Definitely recommended!

This is an erotic fantasy of three girl friends who went into a cave, fell through a hole, and Jenny finds a dragon-shifter who had been praying to the Lifegiver for a mate. Obviously he assumes Jenny is his mate. Very hot erotic scenes and also action scenes with the predators they encounter. Books two and three involve the other two girlfriends and their adventures.

This short story is fun to read! If you enjoy dragon shifters and some humor, then give this one a try. I loved the characters and the plot, it only takes a few hours to read. I’m looking forward to reading the other 2 books in the series.

This is a nice erotic adventure between a dragon shifter and his mate! I enjoyed Jenny and Derek's story. It's a very quick read but intriguing story with hot action and other forms of action. Overall, a very enjoyable story. I just wanted more the ending.

Cute
The story is cute and made me giggle in a couple spots . My only complaint is that the story needed a little bit more to finish it .
