5 AMAZING stars!
Gah! Ian is LIFE!!!!

All of Me is everything I love about an A.L. Jackson romance. Gorgeous writing, an amazing plot, and a hero that makes me swoon so hard, I nearly passed out. He's everything I love in an alphahole BBF - sexy as shit, strong and protective, and emotionally unavailable (lolol). I love him so very much!

But what really made this a top notch read is the storyline. This is my all time favorite. Cute kids, an emotionally charged situation, and a mother who will do whatever it takes to keep her family happy. Pure reader kryptonite for me!

I absolutely loved everything about it! Highly recommended!

With you . . . for once in my life . . . I wish that I could be someone else. Someone better. That I could be worth it.”

A powerful, beautifully written and emotionally gripping story, All of Me was everything I expected and so SO much more!

Ever since he first appeared across the pages of More Of You, I've been absolutely captivated by Ian's intensity. There's just something something about him that sucks you right into his dark vortex. This is a man with dark secrets and a painful past. His history helped paint his present and mold him into the powerful and determined, do-anything-to-succeed man he is today. Nothing will ever stand in his way, especially a woman or love.
The second I’d seen him, I’d known the man could wreck me with the barest brush of his hand. And oh, had he done a whole lot more than let those fingertips caress my cheek.

If there's one thing that AL Jackson can do like no one else, it's suck readers in with her prologues. And the one in this book? SHIVERS. I'm talking full body shivers here, people. I was desperately turning the pages well into the night.

A chance meeting changes everything for Ian when he runs into a mysterious beauty at a work gala. Unable to get her out of his mind, he pursues her with a single minded intent. But he's not the only one with dark rooted secrets, and Grace has some of her own. Secrets that just may cost both of them everything.
You’re going to ruin me, Angel Girl.”
“And you’re going to save me.”

Grace was the perfect balance to Ian's intensity. She's such a strong heroine yet has this vulnerability to her that you can't help but fall in love with. She's tenacious and protective when it comes to those that she loves. And she's a woman that loves and loves hard. Even though she's been through a hell of her own, she hasn't lost any of her tenderness. The relationship between her and Ian develops over time. While their chemistry is instantaneous, they both fight what's brewing between them until the flames just prove to be too much. I simply adore Jackson's lyrical style to story telling. I think that's what ultimately softened the dark edges of these two characters. Their story is not a light one, but the beautiful storytelling style helped lighten it. It was captivating and enrapturing.

I can't wait for Mack to get his book next. Considering the books in this series just get better and better, I can't wait to see what the next one will bring.

All of Me is book two in the Confessions of the Heart series and can be read as a standalone.

For the first time ever, I am completely and utterly speechless! I think this is quite possibly the shortest review I’ve ever written…as this book thoroughly and wholeheartedly blew me away!

There aren’t enough words that can express my absolute, undying love for this author’s books. Each story just gets better and better, captivating readers with its emotions, its intense passion, and unbelievably complex character development.

Ian and Grace….*sigh*….what could I possible say about these two and their incredible journey that would do this story justice?! There isn’t. Words fail me still. Just know that All of Me eclipses anything I’ve read before from the author (and ranks right up there with Show Me the Way as favorite).

Just read it. That’s all I can really say at this point. JUST READ IT!!! Let yourself be swept up in the drama, the intrigue, and the masterful writing that is once again uniquely diverse and beyond comparison.

5 unforgettable stars!

Gave up😑
Again comes a point where I didn't like one of the most loved books. Though I don't regret DNFing it.

Can someone please tell me what exactly was good about it?
The writing style was not sitting well with me.
Why some authors can't just form paragraphs instead of writing lines after lines like a verse?
It's not a poem for God sake!
The whole situation in the story sounded more dramatic than it actually was just because of never ending monologues and those VERSES!!

I swear the characters did very minimum talking and more of thinking about the whole thing. There were hardly 2 sentences said after 3-4 pages of introspection cum relieving the past cum thinking about the future in their minds, which after some time got boring. AND that's how the whole story went (atleast till the point I read).

The second thing : It was nothing special. I've already read a hundred books with the similar background story except there authors weren't trying hard to make the book sound something 'out of the box' or 'once in a lifetime' experience😒

If that's the way A.L. Jackson writes then I don't really want to read any more of her books. Maybe not atleast for a long time.

“You make me feel like I’m standing at the edge of something brilliant. Something significant…”

All of Me is the exact reason why I love A.L. Jackson and her stories so much; her intricate and carefully crafted plots, her ability to bring on all the feels and last but by no means least, her heroes. I loved every beautifully written word, it’s like pure poetry and I was captivated throughout the second book in the Confessions of the Heart standalone series.

Ian has always been one character of Jackson’s that I have been most intrigued by, so you can imagine my hysteria when I discovered All of Me was Ian’s chance to shine, and shine he did. Ian is the kind of hero that makes us romance readers, always on the search for the perfect BBF, swoon so hard. He is an enigma, dark, possessive and beyond successful. He has had a somewhat dark and tragic past and as a result it has helped shape him into the kind of person he is today; a success story with no ability to commit. That is, until a chance encounter with Grace has him questioning all his current beliefs.

“I hope you let me take you where I’m dying to go. Follow me, Angel Girl.”

Grace is just one character I could not help but fall in love with. She was positively the sweetest, with an absolute heart of gold. While she has been through a lot herself, she always maintained her positivity and her ability to open her heart and love.

I don’t want to go into too much detail of the ins and outs of the story as it is one you need to experience, but I want to sincerely express how this story made me feel; happy, sad, heartbroken and positively and irrevocably in love. I cannot recommend this story enough.

IAN'S BOOK!!!!

We already met lawyer Ian in his brother Jace's book. Now he's telling us his own story.

He's a successful lawyer in Charleston - he wants to be the best - and he's almost made it.

He doesn't do love and feelings and stuff like that. He learned early on in life that he could only trust himself and his brother and his best buddy. And now there's his brother's new little family too. He loves them, but that's it. There's no room for more complications in his life.

Enter Grace.

They first meet at his firm's charity gala. But she ran away scared when she saw someone in the room - someone she's very afraid of. That's why she so badly needs a lawyer.

There's this mega-insta-attraction between them, but Ian would never start anything with a client. And taking her on as a client could destroy his career - the only thing he ever wanted in life.

But the attraction is way too intense to ignore. ☺

What will happen with Grace & Ian?
Will there be a HEA for our two darlings???
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺

Well, that was adorable! And scary and sweet and intense and sexy and sad and heartbreaking.

I really adored Ian and Grace and all the kids!

It was a great romance - you just have to keep on reading to find out how we can get Grace out of that horrible guy's clutches - all without losing the kids and Ian's career ... and our lives.

Very exciting! I really enjoyed the story!

Rant following - please don't be offended dear Author - I'm very weird, but I really like your stories and I will keep on reading them, but I just have to say it - nobody else seems to do to it ☺

Like with all AL Jackson books ... it's not my kind of writing style. It's a horrible writing style for my weird brain. It's way too poetic - all those 1/2/3/4-word lines. Sometimes seven lines in a row with only a word or two - ugh. And the leaving-out-the-first-word-of-a-sentence thing she does. HORRIBLE! Why do you do it??? It's completely destroying my reading-flow!

It feels to me as if AL Jackson went to a creative writing college class twenty years ago and the teacher was horribly untalented but AL Jackson loved it all and uses everything she learned in every book she writes. WHICH is totally her right and I'm sure most readers love it - but I just can't. The book could've been 150 pages shorter and it would still be a great story. I started to mostly read the lines where people talked to each other pretty early on in the book - I'm sure I missed a few facts along the way, but it was way better than reading all that poetic filler stuff.

BUT - as I said before - I really liked the book .. I loved Ian and Grace. All those adorable Ian & kids moments! Ugh. Swoon! I even cried some - ok, a LOT - of tears while reading it!

Ian has a lot of healing and un-guilting to do before he can ride off into his happily ever after sunset with his new family - but he'll get there. And we really enjoy reading about this journey!

ALL OF ME was a really adorable & exciting love story! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Ian - this one is MINE!

"Cling to the idea that I was brave and a fighter.
But the truth was that I was terrified."
After a bitter divorce, Grace is now up against one of the powerful men -- her ex-husband. But that won't deter her from protecting the people she loves the most. A chance meeting that's all it took for her to take the risk of spending a night with a sexy, enigmatic Ian.
"I’m not a good guy."
Ian is on his way to being one of the most successful lawyers, a step away from being a partner of the law firm. He'd done bad things in the past that he tries to forget. But everything changes when he met Grace at a gala that rocks his world by not only, her beauty but also how she carries her self. She exudes elegance despite being his "broken Cinderella." And he would do anything to protect her.

All of Me, is the second book of Confessions of the Heart, can be read as standalone, gave me all the feels of a good heart-wrenching romance that will conquer all no matter who stands in the way. The story was flawlessly written and characters that gripped me right from the start and finished this story in records time. Even the secondary makes this book truly unputdownable. All consuming love story that I can't recommend enough. Such a wonderful read!

Favorite Quotes:

“I’ve seen pictures of you. You were a knockout.” “Pssh.” She waved her hand. “What are you talking about, was? I am a knockout. You should see all the men fighting for me down at the bingo hall.”

He was doing that arrogant thing. You know, just breathing. As if he held the power to command all the air.

Their childhood . . . it was a battle. A warzone. One they were forced to fight even though they’d never enlisted. The aftermath left them completely different and so intrinsically the same.”

I could hear my grandmother shuffling through the night. “That squirrely bastard,” she hissed. “I have half a mind to go after that boy with a frying pan and teach him a lesson. Lord knows his mama must not have done it.”

My Review:

All of Me was a long book with lots and lots of angsty words and atomically steamy sex scenes. In fact, there were so many naughty words that I was forced to plug my Kindle into the charger to be able to keep reading them. Oh my, this tale was full of torment, woe, conflict, and hot sex, but mostly woe. There was even woe about the hot sex. Written in my favorite dual POV, both characters were overflowing with stressors and tension of all varieties. Their inner musings were a full-on angst fest, which at times felt tediously repetitive as well as more than a bit over the top, yet I was inexplicably unable to stop reading. I may have wanted to roll my eyes and sigh, but the hooks were deeply embedded - I had to know how it would unravel. Ms. Jackson can certainly spin a tangled tale as the storylines were well-crafted and intriguing. In addition to the intense sensual heat, a bit of much needed comic relief and sweet heart squeezes were provided by a feisty grandmother and sweet and imaginative children.

I am not really a big fan of Miss Jackson. Her writing has so much sorrow and not enough humor or happiness. Reading/ listening to her story makes me sad. With an anxiety disorder, I have to be very careful picking up her books.

All of Me is the first book I read on the series. The audio book has been flying around on my radar, but I somehow putting it off. As expected the book is full of sorrow. The writing is sonnet. Each words is stacked in that way so I can feel the max pressure of that sorrow. I feel so hard for Ian. Such a broken hero. His soul longing for redemption for all his sins in the past. While Grace is that perfect angel of savior. Both colliding into each other world without realizing their fate is sealed.

I love to see how Ian transforms into the man he destined to be. And with Grace by his side, they finally get their HEA. Again as Miss Jackson signature, the story is alive with her writing. Overall I do enjoy this book more that I expect. After all we all deserves a hero/ heroine to save us all.

“I warned you who I was.” Selfish. Greedy. Incapable of love. The devil.”

“I learned at a young age that I was the sun. It was up to me to make the world gravitate around me.”

“I felt it again. An overwhelming surge of heat washed over me from behind. Something dark, almost sinister, an open invitation to step into his expensive brand of sin.”

“When she looked up at me with a river of mascara running down her cheeks, I fucking forgot everything. My mind. My sanity. My reason.”

As much as I want to say I was ready for Ian’s story, I can honestly say that no way was my heart ready for it. Ian and Grace’s story was nothing like I thought it was going to be. Was it forbidden? Yes. But it was so much more. It was a story of two lost souls trying to make the most out of the cards they’ve been dealt. A story of second chances and dreams that you never thought would come true. A story of love that will capture your heart and will definitely get under your skin.

Ian has had a tough life. He’s done and seen things that no one should have to. He’s cocky and arrogant. He doesn’t let many get close and doesn’t do relationships. The only thing he’s looking for is power and a good time. The one thing he never saw coming was Grace. Their attraction was instant. From the moment he saw her, he just knew she would be a game changer. He perused her unlike any other woman. One night of passion will never be enough. But, when Grace wants to hire Ian as an attorney, everything changes. Ian & Grace find themselves in a battle of a lifetime. There’s so much to lose, but neither one can stay away…..

All of Me grabbed me from the very first page and had me hanging on to every single word. In true A.L. Jackson style, the writing is captivating and will just slay you. The story weaving its way deep under your skin and leaving you absolutely breathless. The characters are absolute perfection. Both lost and damaged, yet completely perfect for one another. Her wanting the dream that any woman would want. A good man. Someone to fight for her. Someone to love her. Someone to take a chance on HER. And him…he never believed he was good enough. He sees himself as the devil for the choices that he’s had to make. Feeling as though he doesn’t deserve any kind of love and happiness. His demons so hard to battle, but Grace waking up things in Ian that he was so utterly unprepared for. These two made me want to believe in love. They made me want to believe in second chances. I wanted them to take a chance on what they wanted. I wanted them to find peace. I wanted them to find happiness. And boy oh boy was I rooting for them to find their happily ever after.

All of Me is a beautiful and heartbreaking love story that will just take your breath away. It’s sexy. It’s sinful. It’s forbidden. It’s a story filled with pain and passion, hurt and longing, hope and fear. This story took me on a journey that I never saw coming and yet I loved every single moment of it. A.L. Jackson has once again taken my heart for an incredible ride and I loved getting lost in Ian & Grace’s story.

Woah, Ian Jacobs!!! Y'all this book was everything. Honestly one of my favorite A. L. Jackson. I'm gonna be very honest, I didn't really LOVE book one that much, I didn't connect with the characters or the story but oh my god did I connect with Ian and Grace.

These two...oh my lord, I died. First their chemistry was off the charts, I was dying for them to happen just as much as Ian was lol. But there was so much more to these two outside of the amazing chemistry. My heart could barely take it. This book was the epitome of what I love in a romance book. There was so much angst, so much emotion, a lot of mystery and sexual tension. Ian and Grace will give you all, and I mean ALL the feels!

I love a good single parent romance, add in the damaged yet alpha male trying to do the right thing while surrounded by a world full of corruption and eveil and this book moved up into epic status. I melted.
All of Me is much more than a forbidden love story, it's a story about fighting for the people you love, a story about redemption, about rising above your circunstances and making the right choice for once, fighting for love and seeing your worth.

A. L. Jackson did it once again with her poetical and beautiful writing, she made me fall completely for Ian Jacobs and his story with Grace and her babies. She has mastered the perfect blend of heartache, sex and love that makes the perfect romance book; the mystery and suspense only add more flare and emotion to this masterpiece. All of Me is definitely a book you simply cannot miss.

I don’t think AL Jacksons capable of writing a book that doesn’t just tear your heart out and wreck your emotions.

All of Me is the second in the Confessions of the Heart series, but can be read as a complete standalone. For those interested in the connection, Ian is Jace’s brother (book one) and takes place after the conclusion of More of You.

Ian has had a hard life. He’s had to fight each and every day. He’s had to do dishonorable things to ensure that he never steps foot back in the life he was born into. But his world is about to get tipped on its axis when he sees her.

Grace, a stunning woman with a heart of gold, fighting to protect her children. A woman in desperate need of an attorney, a woman not expecting the deep connection to Ian. A man that scares and excites her and might be her last and only hope.

All of Me is was emotional from page one. The prologue ensured you started this story on the edge of your seat with a lump in your throat. I loved Ian. I loved every broken piece of him. Damaged heroes are one of my favorite types. There is no way you will walk away from this book without feeling every second of it.

Jackson is a master of drawing out every emotion in her readers and All of Me was an exceptional read. Now bring on Mack’s book!!!

All Of Me is the second book in the Confessions of the Heart series by A.L. Jackson. This novel can be read as a complete standalone. Having read a fairly good amount of novels written by A.L. Jackson, and loving them all, I can say this with honesty and truth, All Of Me is my new favorite!

Looking for a...

• Sexy as Sin Attorney with a dirty tongue
• Fierce single mother who will do anything to protect her babies
• Forbidden romance that has the power to set your kindle on fire
• A Love Story that will have even the strongest of hearts weeping
• or maybe you're looking for a little bit of suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat...

If you answered yes to any of the above, I highly recommend you pick up All Of Me by A.L. Jackson today! This has by far been one of my favorite reads of 2018. I can't get Ian and Grace's story out of my head! All Of Me is simply an unforgettable read!

I knew from the moment I read the blurb that Ian would steal my heart. It's no mystery that I tend to fall for the underdog bad boy type heroes. The main reason why I fall so hard for these book boyfriends is the fragility they show at the end. I love watching a man who has been hardened up by life circumstances, slowly reveal his true self to the woman he's chasing. There is something bittersweet when it comes to witnessing that one precious moment. Ian Jacobs gave my heart a double jab followed by a brutal uppercut....I was an instant goner. Not only does he break his walls down little by little for Grace, but also for Grace's kids. His connection with her only son Thomas had me on the verge of tears.

Typically when reading a novel told in dual point of view I tend to favor one persons back story more than the other and that's what I was expecting when I first dived into this novel. I was quickly mistaken when I found myself wanting to learn more about both Ian and Grace close to the 30% mark. I was intrigued by Grace and her role as a mother lioness. This woman would move heaven and hell to protect her babies. She's fierce and strong but just beneath the surface is a woman on the verge of breaking. But who could blame her when she has a crazy, off the wall, ex-husband trying to sabotage her happiness by taking her babies away.

On the outside this may look like only a romance novel, but beneath the surface this novel holds more than just sexy page turning scenes and cutesy moments. All Of Me is also full of suspense, devastation, and angst. These are three things I've come to love when it comes to a novel written by A.L. Jackson. You honestly, never know what is going to happen. There were so many page turning moments that had me, legit, clutching my chest and wanting to stab the evil villainous ex husband in the eye with a spoon.

Where there was angst, there was also just as much sweetness in the form of Grace's three kids. I loved witnessing their interactions with big bad Ian and watching Ian slowly crumbling under their delicate stares. Children can make even the strongest of men crumble and that's exactly what Mallory, Sophie Marie, and Thomas did. They made the shield around Ian's heart crumble to dust.

Overall, Be prepared for a wild long ride. Ian and Grace's back and forth forbidden romance is one I will never forget! Definite reread potential!

Ian is on the brink of achieving everyone he has been working hard towards in his career. He has clawed his way to the top, stepping on who he had to and left a bevy of one night stand beauties behind him. However, it only takes one moment to change everything. Once chance meeting with a beautiful woman that has him spellbound.

Grace is a woman on a mission. She is in a deep situation that she needs help climbing out of. Despite her efforts, no one is willing to help her. When she meets Iain she has no idea who he is and the pull of attraction between is too hard to ignore. One night of incredibly mind numbing sex takes them both by surprise. It was more than either of them could have ever imagined.

‘I’m yours. Tonight, I’m yours.’ But I knew it was so much greater than that. That I hadn’t only given him tonight. I’d given him a piece of myself.’ - Grace

Ian’s ‘one night stand only’ way of life is rocked by his one night with Grace. He needs to track her down again because he cannot ignore what he is feeling for her. What he didn’t count on was that his obsession with finding this ‘angel’ finds him immersed in a world he never imagined himself to be in.

‘You make me feel like I’m standing at the edge of something brilliant. Something significant,’ I confessed in a twined rasp of words. ‘You make me feel something…want something that I don’t think I’ve ever wanted in all my life. Something I’m not sure I even understand.’ - Ian

Grace is looking for a hero and Ian appears like a knight in shining armour. Ian knows that if he agrees to help her he is putting everything he has worked for on the line. However, maybe this is a way he can redeem himself for all the bad decisions he has made in his life thus far.

I don’t want to to into any more detail about this story because I will spoil if for you. I began reading this in my lunch break at work and then came home to read a few more chapters before dinner. That did not happen! Several hours later I was done, I could not put this down. The storyline for this book is one of my favourites sort of reads and I was completely invested in all the characters right from the start. It definitely has echoes of Cinderella weaved throughout which was really fun. I also loved getting a glimpse back into Faith & Jace’s world ☺

Amy has this incredible talent for writing deeply emotional stories and once again I was blown away by her ability to put the moments into words in such a way that I felt everything that was unfolding in this story. Another fabulous book from this amazing lady!

Amy is one of my most read authors, and I always look forward to her books. She has a very poetic way of telling a story that appeals to me. Even though All of Me isn't my favorite by her, I still enjoyed it. I liked the characters and I was interested to see how the story would develop. I wanted to see how Ian and Grace would finally be together. It definitely wasn't easy and there were many obstacles that prevented them to be happy. I have to admit that I liked the second half of the story more than I did the first. In my opinion that is when the story really picked up and it got more intriguing. I also loved the hint of suspense that was added to the story. Amy creates great villains, and I secretly hope that Amy one day will write a full-on romantic suspense series.

I did have a couple of issues with how the story started. I would've shuffled some things around in the story, for example I was expecting Ian to be Grace's attorney earlier on in the story. So that the forbidden aspect was present from the start. The insta-lust was a bit too much, I personally am not a big fan of it. I also wanted more of a build-up to Ian and Grace having sex. Ian isn't open to be in a committed relationship because of the things that happened in his past, and are still happening in his current life. However, when he meets Grace he feels a very strong attraction/connection to her. Which shows that when you meet the one, you can't really resist what your heart wants. My heart broke for Ian, he really did have a very bad childhood. The flashbacks showing this were absolutely heartbreaking. Overall, I enjoyed this story and I loved seeing Jace and Faith (from the previous book) make appearances in All of Me. I am looking forward to Mack's story, I can't wait to see who he ends up with.

YES. It's ALL you think it's going to be and MORE.

Ian is sex on a stick.
You'll fall in love with Grace the moment she stumbles onto the page.
Heartbreak, longing, angst, hot sex, more angst, adorable kids... ALL OF ME is ALL of this wrapped up in AL Jackson's signature style.

I couldn't put it down. I couldn't stop turning pages. I had to have it all.
Get ready to lose some sleep.

I LOVE my damaged alpha males and Ian was all of that with some sexy and arrogance thrown in. A forbidden attraction between a dirty talking attorney and his client make this a seriously hot book. It was so much more than just a sexy read though. To see this broken man open himself to love not just for Grace but also her kids just about ended me. This had suspense and angst and longing and passion and was just the most beautifully intense love story.

4.5 STARS!

From the beginning All of Me will have you wanting more! It's angsty, torturous, and a bit heartbreaking!

Ian wears this facade; he's cold, indifferent, arrogant, ruthless, callous. He shows no emotion towards others. His goal is to rise to the top and become the best damn lawyer Charleston has to offer. But one encounter with Grace; this broken beauty has his walls slowly cracking. He does not want to care about her, yet he feels like he needs to protect her.

Instant, consuming, and undeniable attraction! Ian is drawn to Grace like a moth to a flame. He tries to fight it, but he can't help but chase after her. Grace feels the same way and it terrifies her. These two broken souls try to fight it but it is in vain! Grace is the healing balm to calm the rage within Ian. Ultimately, she balances him out. Their relationship gradually develops with time. A lot is at stake and Ian is willing to break the rules in order to be with his Angel.

Let's just stand up and applaud AL Jackson because she has written such a beautiful, lyrical, torturous, and at moments dark love romance! I took a chance on this series and it was worth it! Bring on Mack's book! 💃🏼

Ian Jacobs might be more damaged than his older brother, Jace(More of You). He survived a traumatic childhood and events that left him scarred and emotionally vacant only allowing a few people in. He cares most about wealth, power, and proving to everyone that he is the best lawyer. He is close to attaining it, although he has done things he is not proud of.

One meeting between Ian and Grace caused sparks and a pull that Ian has never felt. It leads him on the pursuit even as she goes running. They are both tempted by some crazy chemistry, but they both have secrets. Grace is in desperate need of help. And anything they have done could be held against them if he chooses to help her in her battle. And Ian has never had any interest in relationships or commitment. He is too busy fighting his past demons and keeping the trouble in his life at bay. He is a man who feels unworthy of anything good due to past and current mistakes. Feelings scare him. He does not like feeling protective and is afraid he will fail again like he always does.

But Grace sees deep into him and swears she can see good in him. She is sweet, loving, and protective. She wants him to fight along side her and trusts him. She cannot afford to lose or else she loses everything important to her.

But as they find themselves in a situation that seems to get more dangerous and complicated by the minute, Ian continues to struggle with what he should do. Grace needs a hero and he is sure that he can never be one due to his shady past. Is he really helping or doing more harm? But if he does not stand with her, who will?

This book seems to be a fight from the beginning: fighting the past, each other, feelings, enemies, and fears. It is angsty, emotional, passionate, suspenseful, and full of surprises. Ian was rough around the edges and it took a bit for me to really get a feel for him. He was so damaged and had up so many walls. But seeing some of those chip away was just so significant. He really grew on me. And by the end of it, I adored him and them together. It is a story about sacrifice and what is really important in life and the healing power of hope and love.

I loved getting more with Jace, Faith, Bailey, Mack, and the new side characters introduced in this one. I am really excited that Mack is getting a book next.

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

We originally met Ian in More Of You as he is Jace’s brother. Ian is driven to succeed in his career as a lawyer however he has many hidden layers. Due to his past he allows very few people close and love and relationships are not in his future plan.

Grace is a woman with secrets who needs help but doesn’t know where to turn. A chance meeting at a gala and the sparks between them ignite into a fire neither expected and are unable to deny.

When it turns out that he could hold the answers to give her the help she needs they must step back and try to make their personal relationship strictly business but when you cross that line how do you go back?

Both of these characters are amazing and the chemistry between them is off the charts. Grace is strong and resilient despite what life has thrown at her and Ian is a good man and others know it, but he needs to realize it himself. Full of twists this story takes you on an emotional journey you won’t soon forget. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I’d been in a reading rut. Life had beaten me down, and I couldn’t even read. I’d open a book to try, but couldn’t focus enough with my clouded head to even tackle a page. Days turned into weeks that became months. Months of maybe slowly reading two books instead of my usual 30.

Then I picked up All of Me by AL Jackson. One page became two and then four and then more. I could read again! My cloudy head became clear as it was consumed with AL Jackson’s magnificent and masterful storytelling. All of Me consumed ALL. OF. ME.

ALL OF ME. I could not help but struggle to find all the words. All the words to show just how hard this tale made me feel. Every word found every feel. Oh did I feel! I felt everything! I read All of Me with tears etched in my eyes, a smile painted on my mouth, and hope stirring in my heart as this story seeped into my soul.

”I close my eyes, and you’re the only thing I can see.”

This is the love story and journey of a battered Cinderella and a broken Prince Charming who rescue each other in the battle of love and life. I FELT this hero and heroines’ story as if it were mine. Ian and Graces’ hard-fought journey full of depth and devotion along strength and soul is truly meaningful.

”Tell me it’s only me. It’s only me.”

All of Me is an emotionally-clad Cinderella tale of a romance with a striking vulnerability, a powerful testament to self-love and sacrifice that touches everywhere. So soul-shattering. So stunning. So mesmerizing. So meaningful. An irresistible and unwavering fairytale woven with wisdom, courage, grace, heart, and soul.

”I want to kiss you for the rest of my life.”

AL Jackson continues to wow with her heart-wielding words, pulling the reader in from the very first page to partake on an emotional journey felt everywhere. All of Me is ALL THE THINGS. The writing is so superb that you just sink into the pages. No one flawlessly bleeds broken with beauty and bravery with words that elicit every emotion like AL Jackson.

”Don’t you know that the bleakest times are making way for the brightest sunrises?”

I fell so hard in love with this beautifully broken fairytale that tore my heart apart and squeezed my soul. All of Me marked my soul along with my heart. I just could not stop reveling in its broken beauty. This book is simply breathtaking!

”If I could be a better man, I’d be him for you. If I could live a better life, I’d live it for you.”

All of Me is another 2018 top book and lifetime read from AL Jackson! A special love story that marks to the heart and sings to the soul long after the last page. This stunning and soul-seeping fairytale deserves all the beautiful stars in the universe.

”You’re going to ruin me, Angel Girl.”

“And you’re going to save me.”

Ian is fiercely determined to be the best. He's so focused on this quest that he's ruthless. He's also without love in his life aside from his brother and his brother's new family. Then he meets Grace. They have an immediate attraction and suddenly Ian's focus just might be shifting. But it'll only be what he deems it to be because he still has his quest to be the best, to never be where he was before. Can Grace make him feel again? Can she and her beautiful children open up his heart?

Ian has an unspeakably brutal backstory, has done things he's not proud of, things he may have to pay for someday soon. But as he falls deeper with Grace, he's never been more sure that he wants to be a good man, be the hero she and her children deserve. The question is, what will he have to sacrifice to save them? Will he ever get the chance to be that hero they already think he is?

"Ian has had probably the hardest life of anyone I've known, Grace."

I know I've said it before, but it's true - A.L. Jackson's writing is poetic and lyrical, and that's never been more true than in All of Me. Ian and Grace's story flows across the pages, never relenting in its intensity, in Ian's intensity. And the way these two come together and fall in love is just, well, beautiful. Ian's intensity and focus is the perfect complement to Grace's angelic vulnerability and big heart. The way she brought out the best in him, the way she opened up his heart was nothing short of magical. I remember being intrigued by Ian in More of You, and he more than lived up to the mystery, the intriguing glimpses back in Jace's story. This world A.L. has created is one I want to live in. I cannot wait for Mack's story next!

This. Book. You know how sometimes you think you have a fav book boyfriend from one authors work and then every book they publish that book boyfriend changes to the most recently published one?

Yeah that’s AL Jackson for you. She can’t do wrong in the Hero department. Ian and All of Me are just everything. Everything you could possibly expect when you go into a book wanting to get lost to escape reality for a bit. All of Me did that and so much more!

The characters, the premise, and the development of the story line was BEYONG magical. Plot twists that slap you in the face and lust that makes you fan yourself at every turn. Plus that one aspect you get with EVERY AL Jackson read. I won’t spoil that but it’s something I normally shy away from in books. NOT HER BOOKS! I expect it every time and it always gives her books that something extra.

This book is for everyone who never stops putting up a fight for something they believe in.

OMG! I just finished Ian and Grace’s story and let me just tell you this book will give you all the feels. Ian is a broken man with a horrible past. Fighting for a better life after the death of his mother and the arrest of his bother. Ian finds himself taken under the wing of Bennet. Fast forward and Ian is now a successful, goal driven lawyer who’s world is knocked off its axis by Grace, a beautiful, strong single mother who is in a nasty custody battle with her ex. Ian and Graces story will just pull you in having you turn the pages faster and faster. There are so many twist that will have you on the edge of your seat. This book will break your heart and put it back together multiple times but I promise you it is worth it! A.L. Jackson is an amazing writer and I can’t wait to read about Mack next!

Grace and Ian's story will have you on the edge of your seat fanning yourself. Plenty of heartache and healing happening in this page turner by AL Jackson.

Ian is a complex, self-centered lawyer climbing to the top or so it seems. Grace is just that, the epitome of strength and kindness. When their two worlds collide sparks fly and danger rears its ugly head.

All that aside, there are children involved. AL Jackson captures children's voices and antics like no one else and they will melt your heart.

While I recommend reading More of You (Confessions of the Heart #1) first, All of Me may be read as a stand alone.
